The manager treats people like trash when told that their shoes began to fall apart after two weeks of wearing them. Told her that they shouldn’t be falling apart after two weeks that I needed a refund and she threw the shoes at me because I told her I wasn’t taking something that doesn’t work. Extremely rude and aggressive manager. And for what reason? Even simple questions turn into an argument with her. Just go to Dick’s instead.

My go-to store for most things outdoors. This location lies about the hours it keeps. I got to it an hour before it closed (hours posted online and on the door) to find the doors shuttered and the OPEN sigh off. This is a 15 minute drive from my house, and I feel like my time has been wasted.

Don’t waste you time at the Big 5 at 7306 E 36th ave in Denver. The store has been closing early with no new time change or notice. The employees just sitting behind the counter doing nothing. As we start taking pictures of the outside of the store for the unit # the lady came outside stating the store wasn’t closed, but the doors are locked, and the gates are closed. Don’t waste your time with this location. Total waste of gas, a time. Drive north on Quebec to Dicks sporting goods for a better experience.

We bought a backpack and some Skechers. Cashier was so pleasant and told us to check our cells for coupons. Bingo big discount! Very pleased.

Came for trail and running shoes. Great selection, great discount rack. The young guy was extremely helpful finding me what i wanted.
The only issue i had was that I barely walked in the store, and I was told to leave my backpack and bike up front before I could finish the process I was already doing. This was the second time in the store same issue.
It's unfortunate that high theft rates tag anybody with a backpack or bag.
I recommend letting people at the least walk up to the counter before asking them to leave their property. Then I'll rate 5 stars.
Other than that the staff was very kind.

Arnita helped me out greatly. My older resistance band broke right before I was heading to the airport. Arnita answered the phone at Big 5 Sporting Goods on 36th Ave. in Denver. She made sure they had what I needed and I bought it! 😁

This was my first time at Big 5 Sporting Goods. I was looking for a swim cap for my grand daughter who has braids. We found one albeit super tight but we were able to get it over her braids. The customer service was the best I've seen in a long time. Thank you to the young lady and the young man who was fairly new to the location. You both were very helpful.
