Closes at noon on Saturday. Got there just before noon to find the place already closed and not able to pick up my vehicle. Customer service was a joke when I called the service line and not helpful at all. I will never rent from budget again. Avis is just down the road from this location and open until 3 on Saturdays, thankfully got a vehicle from them. Otherwise budgets solution was to Uber back to the airport to pay double the price for my current rental. And no offer keep my original rental price from a location that closed early

Paid for a car ahead of time, and showed up at the prescribed pickup time. I was then informed by the agent that they didn't actually have a car for me, and likely wouldn't for several hours. The agent was unable or unwilling to check other locations for their availability. I cancelled and got a car elsewhere.
Apparently it's not unusual for them to fail to deliver the car at the time for which it was booked. I don't understand how this is an acceptable business practice, and consumers should be protected the same way you'd be protected from an airline overbooking a flight. I will be avoiding Budget for all future car rentals no matter where I'm travelling.

Try a different place. I made a reservation and the next day I was on my way to pick up the car when I was told they did not have anymore cars available. The person who called also said they would cancel the reservation, so I would not be charged a fee. Sure enough I was charged a fee.

My Lexus was totaled due to hail damage in May 2024, so needed a rental car. As many cars were damaged in the storm, my usual Enterprise location was sold out of vehicles so I went to Budget. Simon and Lisa were both awesome and helpful and made this stressful situation much easier. Seems like each Budget location varies widely with their service, but this one was great. Thank you!

Horrible horrible experience from start to finish. And don’t bother calling customer service, They just pass around the book and ignore your concerns. No accountability for service, for product, for anything!! Save your money and peace of mind. Do not go there. Car was a mess, service rude, nothing we could do about it.

Lisa at Budget was so accommodating and helpful when we needed a car very last minute. We really appreciated her kindness and empathy — it seemed like our vacation was off to a terrible start, but she helped to turn it around.

The frontline agent was the owner of the agency (I forgot his name but asian origin) himself.
As I was second (and last) in line, I started to prepare my ID, Driving licence, and credit card on the other side of the desk, so I would just have to slide them sidewards when ready. His first words were unfriendly as as rude as I ever seen (to start with), telling me to go wait in line !
Then when he attended me, it was to learn that no car was available althought I had a booking !
Why no car ? Answer : because the booking was made the day before ! (So what ? A booking is a booking, don't accept it if you don't have the cars (there were 10 missing at least on that day, I saw the list ! )
Why not at least call me ? Answer : because my number is overseas ! So what ? My time lost is worth less than a 1 or 2$ call ?
Why not text or email me then ? No answer !
This is probably my worst rental experience ever.
I suspect the positive opinions about that place to be fake !

Don’t use this budget location. Booked here with my debit card. Then when I went all out of my way to pick up they told me they couldn’t accept my debit card as deposit. Bogus company who wrecked my travel plans. No prominent warning. Explained they’re an independent franchise different from other locations.

Enterprise didn't have the car I reserved and Hertz closed before 5, so I went to Budget. I was explaining my car rental situation to the gentleman working up front and not only did he have a car, but he upgraded me to a highend truck at no additional cost. He handed me his card in case I had issues. And when I looked at his card, to my surprise, he was the owner of that Budget. Simon was very courteous and helpful. I had a month long rental and had to go back to the facility where Lisa took care of my needs. If you like great service, then rent your car at Budget on Broadway in Denver. You can tell they genuinely enjoy doing their jobs
