Meeting Alba was a horrible experience. The racism along with the unprofessionalism that was on display was horrendous . I am deeply scarred to this day. It's very clear in corporate America that common courtesy and respect doesn't exist.
Charles schwab / T D ameritrade is a clear example of this.

I went into this branch on a very limited timeframe. I connected with Matthew Masterson. HE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! He went the extra mile, he went above and beyond and had amazing customer service, when I first talked to him I have to be honest I didn’t have much hope (not for any other reason aside from this is corporate, and most people these days don’t go the extra mile). I was pleasantly surprised that he took the information, and followed up the next day, and helped me to try and rectify the situation. He didn’t have to do all that but he did, and I wasn’t very pleasant and I apologize Matthew! Thank you for being a man of your word, and really being about customer service, and helping me when you could’ve just said a timeline is a timeline and kept it moving. If you go here, I 1000000% recommend working with Matthew. He does what he says and says what he does!

Worst brokerage of all. Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork and then more paperwork. Nothing makes them happy. I went through 4 ink cartridges and spent 3 hours doing and redoing paperwork... And then spent hours on the phone trying to get everything sorted. MOVING MY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable, it's 2023 and you cannot fill out and sign any forms online. Stay away... put your money elsewhere...

Schwab has been absolute trash while traveling internationally. My card has been blocked over 15 times for various "suspected fraudulent transactions" which has incurred me waiting over the weekend to call their customer service Monday morning (7 different calls with reps totalling 1.8hrs) each one promising that they "fixed the issue". I'm so fed up with their lack of modern-day international banking support that I'm pulling all funds and going with a different brokerage and Revolut for future travel.

Was transferre to this branch without my knowledge. 2 years later I get a call from Natalie Chaves saying she was my advisor. She heard from a Schwab representative, on an 800 line, that I wanted to put money into my IRA. She never contacted me till then, via email, telephone ,or on line ,that she was my advisor. I thought an advisor was supposed to help the cllient, at least once a year, to review your positions and possibly make suggestions on rebalancing an account. In my opinion, she was just so lazy to sit back and get a salary, based on the size of monies already invested in Schwab, without any effort to talk to me or even contact me. POOR SERVICE, LAZY ADVISORS, NO PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS regardless of amount of invested money.

Major personnel shift going on withDenver Downtown location. The Branch Manager and my Financial Consultant, since 2005, both left Charles Schwab in early May, and I just found out from an auto e-mail reply, after calling my brokers direct line weeks after he left. When highly qualified brokers leave so suddenly, with no real explanation, it’s never a good sign. 800#’s and Robo investing just doesn’t match having a really GOOD Financial Advisor you contact when needed!!!!That was Schwab’s founding principles which might be cracking from competition.

Walked in shortly before close to open an account. They were very accommodating and made me feel comfortable entrusting my money to them. The gentleman that helped me answered any of my questions promptly and succinctly, but also expanded on his answers when I became confused without making me feel dumb. I will continue to entrust my earnings and future of my retirement to this very helpful company
