DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! They nearly lost all my worldly possessions, were entirely unhelpful, completely apathetic and no one had a clue what they were doing. I put my stuff in storage with them in the fall of 2015 because I was moving and didn’t have a place lined up right away. Six months later when I called and wanted to pick up my stuff they hadn’t a clue where it was. Took two weeks just to locate it. Apparently they had moved it from a warehouse in Longmont to one in Denver WITHOUT telling me, had no record of it and when my boyfriend went to go pick it up, had no idea he was coming and had not taken it down off the high shelving units. The whole process was a complete disaster. There are not enough words to describe how frustrated I was. Don’t give them your money and DO NOT trust them with your stuff.

0 stars would be more appropriate. They called four days before my scheduled move to cancel on me for a Saturday pick up. They offered to pick up the following Wednesday instead, but my apartment couldn't extend my lease to accommodate the movers. Looks like I'm just going to have to sell everything that was supposed to go to storage. Closetbox is a cool concept, but you're taking your chances on execution.

Would not recommend it for military people because they won't move your stuff if you live more than 30 miles from the storage place and now I have to hire another moving company to move my stuff from Virginia to my new duty station.

I have never written a review for a moving company, but then again, I have never spoken to the CEO of a moving company either. I have only had wonderful communication with Closetbox Storage over the 3 years that I had my storage with them. Unfortunately, I had a negative experience with the moving company here in Los Angeles and when I reported my disappointment to Closetbox, each employee with whom I spoke was professional, kind and truly went above and beyond to listen to me and to ensure that I felt heard, which means a lot these days. So, when I expressed that I wanted to speak with the company's CEO, Kenn Perry, Jonathan, who was one of my liaison's at Closetbox, provided me with Kenn's email. Totally transparent. Kenn was readily available and when we spoke, he listened to me, he valued what I had to say, and overall, I felt heard. What a wonderful thing in this day of digital communication to have a CEO of a company take your call and value your story. Closetbox is situated in Colorado and all of the employees with whom I have spoken felt real, honest, and down to earth. I must say - I went from feeling frustrated about the movers in LA to feeling valued by the company in CO. And that - means a lot.

I rarely write reviews, but Jonathon from the Closetbox certainly desires props for his excellent customer service! Top notch! In this day and age where customer service is obsolete at so many businesses, it's refreshing to know that the high standard of customer service at Closetbox is what keeps me coming back.Thank you

Store my belonging with them for a year and a half. There is not a lot of flexibility on when they delivery my belongings back. I got charge for a full month of storage because they couldn't have my belongings deliver until after the monthly payment date. Fees increased every 6 months. I don't recommend this service.

Having someone come and whisk your stuff away without the whole storage facility experience has been the final piece of the puzzle to a perfect part-time expat life. All the movers have been awesome, very conscientious, not sure it that's Closet Box or Bueller Storage I have to thank for that.

I tried them again after they took forever to deliver my things. I never received any kind of compensation or someone contacting me to see if they could make things right. However, I tried them again. The guys picking up the boxes and furniture were very professional and did not damage anything. They even came earlier then expected and it took them only about 30 minutes to clear 20 boxes and different types of furniture like a dining table and dresser. I think they were hired for the day by the company because I believe they said they were from Tucson, so props to the 3 Tuscon movers! I hope that the delivery the 2nd time around, whenever I do move in somewhere, is much better than my experience in my first review.

Dont ever let them touch your stuff! Pick up was simple and smooth. Until I wanted my stuff back. Way expensive to deliver. So I opted to pick it up myself. Made an appointment to do so. Closet box never followed through. We had to wait for over an hour while they found my stuff. Mind you, we were paying for an hourly truck rental on our own because closet box doesn't do sundays..... when everyone moves. They finally found my stuff and of course half of it was broken. Tons of damage. Clearly someone just threw all the stuff in there. Every single piece of furniture was damaged. Only the boxes and the mattress survived. Only used it for 8 months and my stuff was covered in a half inch of dust. Customer service on these terrible matters sucks too. They want you to take a million pictures and file a claim and "maybe they'll pay it, if they feel they are responsible" then proceeded to claim that I paid an arm and a leg to store a bunch of broken stuff for 8 months. This was the worst service ever. Youd be better off leaving your stuff on the side of the road.

Just an awful experience. I wish i could give it ZERO STARS. First they moved my stuff in so fast i did have the time to make sure all my stuff was there. I'm missing a few things. I had a Restoration Hardware dining room table that they broke the leg. They never brought it to my house. I filed and signed a claim that day. I was told that's all I had to do they would be in touch. Thirteen days later I followed up. The main office didn't hear anything about it and told me it would take another 4 weeks from the time I sent them a copy of the claim, not when I filled out the claim. So their screw-up within in their company was now my problem???? They are not expediting the situation. Basically, told me to pound sand. It's Christmas, i have guests at my home without anywhere to eat. To top is off and even more frustrating. They don't care. No apologies, to effort to make it right. They are taking the maximum time of 4 weeks (which is actually 6 weeks from the time I signed the claim and that goes against my contract with them) I asked Jonathon to provide me with his bosses number and name and he refused. As a side note, they kept the covers tapped-down on my large furniture When I unwrapped them, the crew was gone. My mistake, the furniture is all messed up. There are scratches and dents. On the back side of my RH dresser is a 2"x 30" scrape where the paint is removed. I just wanted my furniture before Christmas I would never, NEVER, use Closetbox Storage again.

Here's an update to my initial review. ClosetBox is the worst storage service I've ever used. They botched my entire order from start to finish. I had a one bedroom apartment worth of furniture and items picked up and stored. As noted earlier, they lost all of my boxed items, and part of my TV entertainment system. I recently had the last of my items that was in storage delivered. Only to find out that they also lost the hardware to the storage bed that THEY disassembled to put into storage. The movers completely took the bed apart. The movers did not reassemble the bed when they delivered it, because storage lost (that's right lost) all the hardware for assembly. I did not realize then, that they also lost parts of the bed. So even if I had the hardware, I don't have complete parts to assemble the bed. Thereby rending the bed unusable. This is a $900 storage bed that was brand new and used for less than 10 months before storage. I tried to find common ground thru customer service Jonathan Perry, but this was his response: "The offer presented below is the final offer you will receive. The matter will be closed in 14 days if acceptance is not issued. Additionally, I can not continue to spend my time running in circles. I am happy to answer reasonable questions; but, I will not continue the current dialogue loop we seem to be stuck within". I can continue to offer apologies forever; but, at the end of the day, I don't have additional resources at my disposal to provide either compensation or assistance for this matter. The only compensation that is available is the previously mentioned $100. I am extending that official offer in this email message and it will be the only offer extended moving forward. There is no room for negotiation." They charged me for storage every month, which is supposed to be in exchange for the trust in the prudent care and keeping of my items. They charged me for delivery....but delivered only part of my items and lost the others. Warning! Do not use this company...they try to pass the buck, they don't care for your items, and the customer service offered is terrible.

Closetbox seemed like a great answer to my solution. I needed to place my household items in storage while I took a sabbatical and relocated. 8 months later, I call and arrange my to pick up. How my boxes were stored were not in a orderly or neat fashion. When I received them, most of them were crushed. I have moved 5 times in the last 11 years. At the most, when I have packed my items and stored them, only one to two glass kitchen items were broken. I pack very well-padding things, getting the correct boxes and not overpacking items. In all 20 years of moving a lot, there has never been as much damage: broken dishes, a broken mirrored end tabled, broken, broken, broken. and my stuff was dirty. Closet box does not have their own warehouse. They farm out to others. My couch was dirty. Every storage unit I have ever had prorates your monthly fee. Closetbox is high- twice as much! Yet no prorating of my expensive fee. Who DOES that? I also could not drop a pod outside the place and put my things directly into it. Instead, I hired two other 'professionals' who had to unload my stuff, drive it over to where my pods were, unload and load. Really?? Never again. I am doing it all on my own or hiring real professionals with a real warehouse. Closet box is trying to piggy back off a great idea and they should jump off and close their doors!

Too bad I can't I've zero stars. What a bunch of thieves. So many hidden fees. They overcharged me for months, and told me it was my problem that I didn't follow up. Worst company. They blamed every incident on me. Once I told them I wanted to cancel my account with them and get my items back, they said they were understaffed and couldn't get me my things to me for three weeks, then had the audacity to charge me for another month. They are a terrible company full of awful people

Everything was fine until I wanted them to deliver my stuff. They wouldn't deliver until a week after I arrived and wouldn't budge on the delivery time, so I not only had to sleep on the floor for a week while I waited for my own belongings, but I had to skip class to receive the delivery. I'm never using this service again.
