I'm not sure what's going on with the staff at this location. The NASTIEST cashier worked the self-checkout this evening. She was literally screaming at the top of her lungs across the store. She then began Aggressively attacking customers and even the staff with extreme language. Every other word out of her mouth was the F-word or sh$t. I watched as someone tried to file a complaint with the store manager but she seemed too busy as she was dealing with a burst pipe. This cashier was as vicious as a rabid beast and should not be dealing with customers in any fashion. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she was just released from prison.

I realized today that I've been ordering groceries for pickup this whole year from this location. It has been so incredibly convenient and helpful. I just put my order into the King Soopers website or phone app, schedule my pickup, park in a numbered spot.. And outcome my groceries. They load them into my trunk, take any coupons that I have and it's all done and about 5 minutes. Amazing. Occasionally, I get produce that isn't as ripe as I would like or isn't what I would have selected, but that doesn't outweigh the convenience and ease of picking up this way. I'll continue in 2024 to do the same.

Worst king soopers ever. The pharmacy is incredibly unhelpful and refuses to take many insurances/ fulfill transfers. The bathroom lights are always off, making the bathrooms dangerous to most people.

Good selection, decent sized store, but only three lanes open in the entire store with at least 100 customers in the store, and easily 10 self checkouts in the store but inexplicably closed. EDIT: they opened several more lanes and self checkouts before we got to the end of the line, so they clearly have the ability to accommodate that many customers, they just won't until the issue becomes excessive

Ample covered parking. This is a smaller urban store that attracts everything urban. Getting into the store is a guaranteed walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke from the employees or shoppers sitting by the front smoking. It's an older store but it seems fairly clean. The employees aren't the most friendly, but I think this is because of the location and the bs they have to put up with. When you go out of your way to be friendly they may be friendly back. It's convenient to have this within walking distance from my house but if Trader Joe's was a smidgen closer I'd do all my shopping there.

Just be prepared that there's NEVER any carts or baskets to use at the location. So frustrating. It's close to me but the worst King Soopers I've ever seen:( if you can go elsewhere I'd recommend it.

I went to this location tonight, 1/11 at about 7:15 PM MST as I usually do. This is my local king Soopers and one of my go-to's when I am accepting instacart deliveries to shop/deliver.Before grabbing food I decided to sit down and use the bathroom real quick. Seconds after I sat down I was verbally berated, degraded by a team member at this king Soopers, and told to leave the restroom immediately. I asked why/tried to explain I'm just trying to use the bathroom. The team member repeatedly shouted at me accusing me of smoking fentanyl, drug use, cursing at me, etc. I tried over and over to explain I'm not doing drugs and simply trying to use the bathroom. Moments later he returned with security guards ordering me to leave the bathroom immediately.I was forced to get up and leave in the middle of a bowel movement!!!!Once I exited the bathroom the security guards took a look at me and realized that I was not some homeless drug addict smoking in the bathroom. They apologized to me shortly afterward, but I have never felt so humiliated / degraded / made a fool of / and upset in public. I cannot believe my local kings Soopers would treat me or ANYONE with such disrespect.I'm disgusted with the behavior by the security guards as well as whoever barged into bathroom tonight. I can assure you without a doubt I am never coming to this store again as long as I live. Nothing screams "we have no idea how to run our store" more than yelling at random people and forcing them to leave, hoping it sticks.I hope the manager feels ashamed about this stores actions tonight and I will be telling of/complaining to just about anyone at Kroger and here in Denver about how you treat people.

Do not, under any circumstance, go to the deli in this Kings. The older man that works behind the counter is quite possibly one of the most miserable people I've ever encountered. Never mind the half hour wait, this person will give you the wrong items, and proceed to blame it on you, and refuse service/try to remedy the situation.Apparently this is known to managers and staff at the location, so I wouldn't even bother notifying anyone. Just do yourself a favor and go to any other deli nearby. It will be a much better experience, and you'll actually receive what you ordered.

Waited 30 minutes for Creed to finish up his lunch to get back to the Meat and Seafood counter. He decided to take a lunch at 5:30? Interesting. Should've gone down the street.

I would never recommend shopping at this location. Today 6:40 pm the head Clerk Will was very aggressive with me and tried to keep me trapped in the store. He also scratched me by trying to snatch a receipt from out of my hand after his cashier handed me the receipt. I asked him to stay out of my personal space and he kept inching closer. He was definitely abusing his power as head clerk today. I have never had suck an ugly experience at a Kroger store. I even called the authorities. I am very upset and embarrassed by him calling me a thief while screaming at the the top of his lungs. He also yelled for security. I have never been so embarrassed and frightened. Where I was scratched at is also burning pretty bad. I feel if I didn't have my husband near I don't know how far will would have gone. He was a very disgruntled worker. The cashier even apologized on his behalf for his overly aggressive attitude.

This is not about King Soopers but about ordering with Instacart (a service that King Soopers uses for delivery). I never have groceries delivered but since I've been ill all week, thought it might not be a bad idea and not go out into the this cold frigid air. HUGE MISTAKE, they really messed up the order, called me 3 times, hung up on me once and finally canceled the order. The story I got was that their payment service did not work and so they had to cancel the order but my card is pending (though they tell me that it has been refunded..oh but it's my banks fault that I don't see the funds). Complete disaster and here it is Friday night and I don't have groceries, there is no way for King's to fill the order so I can have someone pick it up (not blaming them for that situation). Just beware of these third party delivery services. It sounds good until it's NOT.

I was just stopping by king soopers this morning supporting all the hard working long time grocers that have supplied my family with food during the Covid crisis. I was shocked to see a big rat in the store... support your unionized employees and pay them what they are worth.

I tried their online ordering and delivery platform yesterday. I wish I hadn't. The website listed several items as out of stock that I have never seen out of stock at this location. Figuring I'd do without those items until next grocery run, I continued. The online platform requires registration with a third party App, Instacart (not mentioned until you go to check out). Not a huge deal, since I've used Instacart in the past with ease, but updates to the app made it almost unusable. And high error rates ultimately led me to abandon Instacart. Unfortunately, the downward trajectory of Instacart was continued by King Soopers. Over $20 worth of groceries were missing from my delivery. It wasn't easy to find where to report this on the King Soopers website. When I reached out to a live chat agent, the agent, after spending 5 minutes to review my receipt and the items missing, offered me a $20 store credit... as a solution to missing over $20 plus tax, not to mention a $10 delivery fee I paid and would now still need to go to a store to buy the missing items. I mentioned the missing groceries were more than $20 and was offered $25 in store credit. Before I could respond or agree to that offer, the agent disconnected from live chat. I waited for 27 minutes to be reconnected to someone in live chat only to be serviced by the same agent. By this time, I had decided store credit was not acceptable, since I don't plan on returning to King Soopers any time soon, so I asked for my card to be refunded. Thankfully, the agent was able to oblige. All told, it took about an hour to find and contact customer service and receive a promise of a refund for items that were paid for but not delivered. And I still had to go to Safeway to buy the things King Soopers lost. The wait time and eventual response from the same agent suggest to me that the company has decided not to invest in digital customer service for their digital services. Bad online platform, inaccurate inventory systems, poor customer service. Do yourself a favor and order online from a different company.

My mom was released from the hospital on Wednesday and her prescriptions were called into King Soopers Pharmacy, we were told to pick them up as she would need the medication in the evening! I get there and the lady in Pharmacy tells me "there's only 2 of us working", my thoughts: (it's the day before Thanksgiving why are there only 2 people?) I informed her that my mom was just released from the hospital and needs this medication!! She could care less, no apology, or we will expedite this for you, nothing!! OFCOURSE the Pharmacy is not open Thanksgiving Day, my mom has to go a day and a half without her medication, which is all new medication!! I went in this morning to pickup her meds and I get " we ordered them they should be ready this afternoon" SERIOUSLY?? I hate this place! Trip #3 I finally got her medication!! I am going to move all her meds to another Pharmacy! Any recommendations? These people are horrible! They have no compassion for their sick patients!!
