I visit the bank weekly for business deposits and I work with Marissa M. or Richard G. and they are great to work with. Always friendly and knowledgeable. They get me in and out in no time. I look forward to seeing them every week.

My employer banks here. I had to get a large check cashed for work travel and tried to do it at my bank but they couldn’t verify it because it wasn’t their check so suggested I go to my employers bank, here.
When I went in and talked to the teller to cash it: first she said the very large amount quite loud where other patrons could hear (not safe — my bank would t say anything out loud, they just wrote it down) and then proceeded to tell me that she just flat out couldn’t cash it. Didn’t give a reason other than “it’s a large amount” and didn’t give any kind of solution, just said no. (It wasn’t because they didn’t have the cash) And then condescendingly said “sorry” and shrugged her shoulders. When I asked if she could ask someone else she rolled her eyes and typed something to someone who happened to be her boss steps away.
The VP came out, looked at the screen and sighed, asked the teller if she had made a copy and it was a WHOLE thing from there. They made a copy and had me sit for 15 mins. Then I got up to talk the VP to see if I could call somebody for her. She said they had to “verify it” and couldn’t get a hold of anybody because we were on work vacation.
It turned into an hour and a half ordeal where I had to call someone after hours who then had to call someone else who then had to call the VP and then they finally cashed it.
I watched that same teller try and “help“ another lady who was trying to change her mom’s safety deposit box who had just died, where she started off being nice to her and then basically similarly refused to help her, told her to come back three days later because they couldn’t make time for her and just kept saying sorry in the condescending way.
This is supposed to be a community bank and I expected at least good customer service. The customer service received at my bank, Wells Fargo, far exceeds this and the check that I tried to cash there wasn’t even from Wells Fargo. Super disappointed.
I’m grateful after all the hassle they were able to cash the check eventually, though.
I get that they need to verify, but this could have been handled so much differently. Would never bank here.

After 5 years of struggling to use their website, and having log in problems that seemingly no one working Community Banks of Colorado has been able to uncover, I was so grateful to move to a national chain for banking last year. While trying to get annual statements for taxes, they informed me I would need to come in person to receive printed bank statements like it's 1995. Every interaction I have had with this bank over the past 5+ years has been unnecessarily challenging. Do not use this bank if you are the type of person who intends to use a computer for their banking.

This bank goes back on its word has terrible customer service, does not return calls when they say they will and will purposely avoid communicating in the event of an overdraft to scrape fees from you account. The worst bank I have ever dealt with.
Update: They closed my account and sent me to collections for overdraft fees while offering me a refund check for those fees after I had deposited 100s of dollars to try and bring the account back to balance. Absolute worst bank in Colorado.

I have a business bank account with Community Banks of Colorado. Our company makes regular purchases overseas with a vendor. Each time we make a purchase they require us to call in to get them to approve the purchase. There doesn't seem to be any remedy to this situation and I'm hoping that this can get resolved. I have been calling in for 6 months.

I waited 20 minutes to speak with Julissa only to have her be rude, sarcastic, and condescending to me. I would think they would treat new customers with a little more respect. The customer service at this branch is terrible.

She is friendly, kind, and amazing in her role! I greatly appreciate her every single time I come into this location. This establishment is lucky to have her!

What banks can't break bills? I'm an out of state customer and don't have a bank account around here. Check the bills make sure they are real and make change...... sad location for a bank
