The fertility practice has been extremely disorganized and plagued by poor communication. At the Denver location, the doctor exhibited unprofessional bedside manner, barely acknowledging me or my husband during the initial consultation. The staff also struggled to verify my insurance coverage despite having my information well in advance. Despite clearly stating I would self-pay, I had to repeatedly reiterate this to multiple employees who seemed unable to properly document it.Even basic details like correctly spelling my name provedchallenging, as my internal patient file was created with a misspelled version of my name despite them having the proper spelling from my paperwork and my husband's prior visit. The Long Tree office was somewhat better during my HSG procedure, but there were still baffling lapses in communication and coordination. The doctor initially prescribed antibiotics for the procedure but then failed to inform the nurse, who told me they weren't needed. During the actual HSG, they again said antibiotics were unnecessary, contradicting the doctor's original advice. This exemplified the disturbing lack of communication between providers.Obtaining copies of my medical files has also been an ongoing struggle with this practice. To compound matters, I recently received a bill suggesting they attempted to file an insurance claim despite my insistence on self-paying both visits. I have receipt of full payment for both visits as self-pay. So this is another issue I will need to call about tomorrow. Their inability to properly document and follow through is extremely concerning.Overall, this fertility clinic has exhibited staggering disorganization, lapses in communication between staff and providers, and a stunning degree of incompetence with basic responsibilities like insurance verification and accurate record-keeping. My experience has been utterly frustrating at nearly every step.

To put it plainly, my wife and I received the very highest level of medical and personal care. From start to finish, and from reception, to billing, to our doctors, we were treated with respect and compassion. We live in northern WY and were second guessing driving to a doctor in south Denver until we met Dr. Chiang and Dr. Ferrandino. Their professional, expansive experience, and personal investment in our care made the drive totally worth it. We can’t thank the entire conceptions team enough. The impact you guys have had on our family is nothing short of profound. Thank you very very much!

My husband and I were about to give up on having a family before turning to Conceptions. We did two rounds of IUI and one round of IVF before successfully becoming pregnant. We just welcomed our baby girl and couldn't be happier. The doctors and nurses at Conceptions were competent, compassionate, and organized which helped make what was a very difficult process manageable for us. If you are struggling with infertility, I would highly recommend going to Conceptions!

I went to CCRM before going to Conceptions which turned out to be a real mistake, but also equipped me with a sense of the true value of Conceptions over our other choice. First of all, Conceptions is a privately owned (not Venture Capital backed) practice. I think you see this manifest in that they make that I found to be more patient and data centric. For every recommendation Dr. Greene made he would literally flip around his computer monitor and point to a medical study that was either complete or in process. This was a Dr. that clearly has never stopped learning, nor will he, and that's the type of doctor you want. Additionally, the Conceptions nursing staff - which is a central component to the experience - is also noticeably more happy than I found at CCRM. The reason this matters is that you only see the Dr. a couple of times really at key points, but the people you work the most with are taking blood, doing your sonograms, and the nurses that help with egg freezing, FET, etc. The nurses and staff at conceptions were wonderful, welcoming, flexible and on point. Most importantly - they got the job done. At Conceptions I wasn't a number, and they accomplished in a few cycles what took CCRM 5 (and they produced nothing). Save yourself time and heartache. This is where you want to be.

From the beginning of my wife and I's experience at Conceptions we had a feeling that we weren't getting the best care; this was validated when we decided to go visit another clinic - Shady Grove Fertility.More on our experience: My wife and I realized we needed to pursue IVF after getting fertility testing and realizing that I had a diagnosis of low sperm count (oligospermia). After hearing about other friend's experience with IVF we scheduled with Conceptions based on a recommendation from my urologist (TUCC).We arrived at our first appointment in JUNE 2023 with Dr. O'Shaugnessy. During our first appointment, Dr O'Shaugnessy was extremely cold and dismissive. One of the quotes that sticks out was "we're not going to talk about "what if's" after we attempted to get more information about the process. She made it seem as if the idea of IVF was impossible for us. Yet, our urologist made it clear from the beginning that despite our low counts; IVF was possible and we should pursue immediately. While we understood walking away from that appointment that we had to get some testing done; we knew nothing about the process as a whole. We knew nothing about the financial aspects. For the next 7 months we completed test after test by request of Conceptions. Everything they requested came in piece meal; we never understood the path, beginning, or end. After every test we had requested to regroup with Dr. O'Shaughnessy to understand the process more and we were told we couldn't.During all the testing process we also were encouraged to self pay. We never had a discussion about insurances, coverage, or whether they could bill to our insurance(s). Our frustration was compounded by the messaging system that Conceptions uses that seemed to be disorganized. We never talked to the same individual and we had to send messages through the portal that wouldn't allow you to respond in line to a thread but continuously send new emails to a "monitoring" email. We never had any advocate or personalization through this process. The process continued to be extremely confusing up through the Winter at which time we decided to pursue a meeting with Shady Grove.Shady Grove was warm and welcoming. The Dr. was the opposite of O'Shaugnessy. She was compassionate, hopeful, and data driven. Just like our urologist, Dr. Roca at Shady Grove expressed that we indeed WERE candidates for IVF and despite my testing/situation; we could complete IVSCI as soon as March. She walked us through the entire process, explained our insurance coverage (we're fully covered), and the science behind the process. She showed us diagrams and charts and even entered our data in to a calculator to show us that our odds of success are 85% based on our tests. She explained exactly what the process will entail; and insisted that we schedule the egg retrieval with her nurses. We walked away from our meeting with Shady Grove feeling hopeful and informed. Our conclusion on Conceptions was the following:1. Dr. O'Shaughnessy was cold and dismissive. We've heard form others "She's from New York, that's how she is". That's not an excuse. This is a sensitive time for couples and there is some tact that can be used.2. Conceptions is greedy. We never got to talk about insurance coverage and were encouraged to self pay.3. Conceptions is more concerned about their success rates than our hope to have children. We suspect their continued "kicking of the can" down the line was to try and see if my counts would improve; despite that we were a candidate for IVSCI from day 1.4. Conceptions is uninformative. Shady Grove clearly explained the process and what was required from Day 1. We never learned ANYTHING from Conceptions despite being patients for 7 months. My wife and I highly recomend not pursuing IVF at Conceptions. Or, at least following parallel paths at other clinics. The differences will be clear! We're very happy with Shady Grove an

I have been with Conceptions for about five years. We have gone through several retrievals and three transfers. I am currently 13+ weeks with our last transfer. There are several people there that make you feel special; Linda from lab, several of the nurses, and the ladies at the front desk have all been amazing. Then there are other times that you don't feel very special. I wish that there was more communication from doctors and not just nursing. For example, when I had my miscarriages the doctor didn't reach out at all and I had to wait several weeks for a regroup before I could hear from the doctor. Maybe that's the small-town girl that just expects that, but it would be nice to hear from the provider when things are at their worst. That's really my only issue I have had with Conceptions over the years. At the end of the day I would recommend them to anyone who needs help. So far I am cooking my rainbow baby and I am very grateful.

I could not have asked for a better team than the admin/nurses/embryologists/doctors at Conceptions. They did not steer us wrong at any point of the IVF process. During such a huge, challenging time in our lives, it was an absolute relief to be able to count on the entire Conceptions team. They made us feel cared for and heard and it felt more personal there than at the other big fertility clinic in the area. I would not hesitate to recommend Conceptions! Thank you for all you do!!

The staff at Conceptions were so kind and compassionate. The doctors and nurses were very knowledgeable and explained the process in a way that we could understand. They provided us with a lot of information but in ways that did not make it overwhelming. We did IVF and had a nurse assigned to us who answered any questions quickly throughout the entire process. I am happy to report that I am 13 weeks pregnant on our first attempt at IVF!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Chiang at Conceptions. With all fertility struggles, it was rollercoaster of emotions, trials and fails but we ultimately ended with a successful IVF pregnancy! Everything at their clinics are organized and efficient. They have a wonderful staff, everyone is professional and helpful. Overall, our experience was excellent! We can’t thank them enough! We would recommend Dr. Chiang and Conceptions to anyone looking to begin a family.

I am so greatful we chose conceptions! They were all amazing!!! Lafayette was my main office. My nurses where always responsive no matter how much I bothered and also very friendly and professional. The whole team from the front desk to the ladies who draw blood and of course our lovely ultrasound techs were the absolute best!! Dr Chiang always made the best decisions for me, having to change meds and switch to a partial natural cycle for transfer. All my appointments were convenient and pretty catered to my schedule. I was actually sad to leave everyone there! I am now 13 weeks pregnant from the first try! Thank you conception! Forever greatful

Conceptions is AMAZING! I can’t say enough great things about the place. from the front desk staff, to the fertility docs, everyone is so kind, so welcoming and always friendly. They consistently run their appointments on time. Their response rate in returning questions, concerns is less than 24 hours and they always have an answer for your question or concern. They make the process feel a lot less stressful! Love this place

We absolutely LOVE Conceptions!! We went through the Littleton location, every person in that building is so kind! I cannot say enough good about them. My nurses were there with me every step of the way and answered every question I had in a timely fashion. We loved Dr. O. and Jessica (my nurse), they are the kindest. I had and have full trust in them. Thanks to them, we have a perfect little boy and another on the way. My husband and I will forever be grateful for them and will always sing their praises!

The nurses at Conceptions were the only positive thing about our experience with conceptions. They were sympathetic, understanding and very responsive. We found our doctor to be cold and degrading by speaking to us in a way that did not make us feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation of having to see a fertility doctor after a year of trying to conceive. She only met with us for about 10 minutes at the initial meeting and ordered about $4k in tests that took us about 1 month to complete. Then when we went to schedule a follow up, the doctor was unable to meet with us for an entire month and a half. When we finally met with her she spent about 20 minutes at our follow up. She was rattling off our test data while she was clearly viewing it for the first time. Then she told us her recommendation with very little explanation. We left their feeling completely defeated and heartbroken. We very much felt like she was just there to get a hefty paycheck in which we were providing her for really doing nothing but talking down to us.In addition, we were self-paying and the Conceptions billing system is terribly flawed. We were told we would need to pay specific amounts for specific procedures and then we would receive bills that did not reflect those payments. I spent multiple phone calls with their billing department in which the employee could not clarify or explain why the charges weren’t matching up. I would have to follow up to get in contact with anyone else.Visiting a fertility doctor after a year of trying to conceive is not something that people expect, understand, or want to be doing so feeling like the specialists have your best interest in mind is really valuable in this experience. We only felt that way with the nurses and no one else. We wish we would have looked at the reviews more closely because it seems like many people have had a similar experience. We feel that we wasted our time by going to Conceptions. We have since gotten a 2nd opinion from a different fertility clinic and the experience was like night and day. I would NOT recommend Conceptions.

Me and my wife went through IVF with Conceptions and had a great experience. The doctors and nurses were amazing and very helpful. Even billing was nice and understanding to our millions of questions. It was a long road but we conceived after the first round due to the amazing care this team brought. We will be back to grow our family.

We cannot express our gratitude for Conceptions enough. They were our second fertility clinic after moving from another state. We had a terrible experience at the first and were very much on edge from it. We quickly felt comfortable with the team at Conceptions. They are thorough, kind and professional.Dr. O made sure to meet with us in person throughout the process and provided us with all our options so we could make the best choice for our family. Our nurse Jessica always made sure all of our questions were answered and provided very clear instructions through every step of the process. We appreciated that we were always able to get ahold of someone when questions or concerns arised through email or phone.Through a process that is so emotional and physically challenging I felt comfortable and confident in our care with Dr. O, Jessica and the Conceptions team. We highly recommend them.
