I have been a member at DFDFCU for 40 years. I have been in Vietnam for one year now and still can’t access my online account. I can use the queue phone by calling in but I can only get balances, not individual labeled transactions. Generally I have had great service for 40 years from the credit union. But when I explained to the rep that it doesn’t work to send me a code number that I have to phone in from Vietnam she said no problem. Yet it was a huge problem. We tried many solutions and settled on letting my brother become a member and list him on my account. After having him turn in all the paperwork and jump through all the hoops I was informed by the same rep he can’t be a member. So I asked that I can send a code to access my account by email like most other banks do. The answer is that this is impossible. So for one year I haven’t been able to see my account transactions. I have tried a few times to rectify the situation but no one at DFDFCU seems inclined to assist me. I really hate to discontinue a 40 year relationship with a good company for something as easy to fix as this but I believe that is my likely course of action.

My husband received a debit card for our joint account, however I won’t receive one till October sometime. DFDFC’s response was, “that’s just the process” because we are transitioning.Didn’t realize banks take over a month to give someone access to their account.

I love Denver Fire Credit union however I don't know why lately every time I call nobody ever answers the phone. It definitely bums me out, my Dad has been a loyal customer for many years as well as a firefighter and he added me on to the credit union when I was a young one at home with my parents! Love you guys just a little disappointed I can't get anyone to answer the phone.

Horrible experience. Poor customer service. Everything is super slow. Will be switching to chase. Don’t bother with this business. All they give you are excuses. Instead of resolving a problem all branch manager does is spit company policy in your face.

Lost my trust. The management and staff have no understanding or knowlege of the products they provide. And they out source their IRAs. Not good. Closed my acct. If I could give no stars I would. I have no idea what your talking about I was upset to find my IRA out sourced and I did contact you no one there seemed to care so I took my IRA and my savings elsewhere. And your answer is another reason Im glad I left.

NOT A SHARED BRANCHING LOCATION!! Google says this location is a shared branching location but that is false if you already belong to a shared branch and location this credit Union will not be able to do any sort of business with you however if you are a member of this credit Union then you can participate in shared branching in other words their members are offered shared branching but they themselves do not offer any services to shared branching members. They also do not have an ATM but the staff is very friendly and the vintage fire truck decor is pretty cool to look at as well.

Great customer service, bankers are approachable and easy to work with. You get a notion of a small family owned bank who care about your situation and want to help.I have used this bank to purchase cars, take out a line of credit and soon I will be using it to purchase a home. I strongly recommend.

Denver Fire Credit Union is the absolute worst bank around. Their “customer service” is terrible and their employees are rude. They made me drive down there for a bank statement because they charge $2. So something that would have taken the lady 2 minutes to email to me wound up costing me an hour. I had to drive there because I just have a car loan with them and no checking or savings and would not take a credit card over there phone. The only reason I stay with them is because, to their credit, their rates are usually very competitive. As soon as I can find someone else I’m gone, never to return. I suggest you think long and hard about the Dfd credit union.

After being lockout of my account I emailed the credit union and got an immediate call from the CEO. Mike was very personable and took the time to get me setup again, I'm able to log in with no problem. They truly care at DFDFCU and will work to resolve any issues that may come up.
