The owner was very degrading to my husband because we tried to use two $5 coupons that were offered to us by T-mobile for Dickey's. He called my husband. "cheap" to his face because we had coupons. They did not honor both coupons, which we didn't say anything about... I went up twice once to ask for a plate for my 2 year old son's food, and once to ask for a to go box and the cashier had an angry scowl on her face each time. It was a very unpleasant meal. Our family spent over $32 for 2 meals (over $37 if we had no coupon), and were treated poorly throughout our entire experience because we had tried to use a coupon that was given to us.

I made a lunch order for pickup today and the man working up by the register with the ponytail really put a smile on my face and should be recognized for his exceptional customer service skills. I have had a long week and just feel run down, his positive energy and kindness really helped turn my day around, my food was exactly as ordered and delicious!

Order a 3 meat platter with brisket, jalapeño cheddar kielbasa and pulled pork with mac and cheese and barbecue beans with a rib add on. I unfortunately have nothing positive to say about this meal. The brisket was dry and lacked bark and flavor. The pulled pork lacked seasoning even on exterior pieces. The kielbasa, the grind seems to be of and didn't give a pleasant mouth feel or texture. The mac and cheese was terrible i akin it to a worse version of KFC. The barbecue bean were under undercooked and were hard. The pork rib was the only respectable item. It was tender but slightly over cooked and lacked seasoning. As a lover of bbq and an avid bbqer this a very disappointing experience.

I've been to this location 3 times now... got 3- 1/2lb. Meats. 1st time was really good. 2nd time not as good. 3rd time was not good at all.The brisket was very dry. Shoe leather dry.The turkey tasted rancid. Couldn't eat either. The sausage was good all three times though. Not sure I'll give them another chance.Service was excellent though. Very friendly.

Ordered directly at store online for pick up. When I got there, they said the order was already picked up, and didn't want to make my order. The order was ready 10 minutes later. Finally made it, but portions were smaller than normal. Felt like they blamed me for the lost order.

I'm wondering how this place stays in business? I walked into the store hearing the manager loudly chattering away to someone else behind the counter. "I'll be right with you!" she says; and goes back to talking away to I'm guessing an employee. A couple minutes of this, and she finally asks, " What do you want!" I ordered the brisket plate, and I asked if I could sample the beans. I get a small black cup to sample and no spoon, so I drink out of the cup, and it's bbq sauce! Yuk! So a big commotion happens about the beans being bbq sauce, not beans, between 3 of them. They are now clammering about giving out a sample. I am standing there feeling bad for asking. I should have known better to have asked because it seemed like customer service wasn't her thing anyway, and she rolled her eyes and sighed when I asked. I go to pay the cashier, and she says "so 2 sides today?" No, I say I got a brisket plate. Now they don't have change for my $20.00, and it becomes a big deal about that, and the cashier asks the manager if someone should go to the bank? The manager and I both say at the same time, " it's Sunday!" It's still a lot of back and forth about going next door and getting change, and I am standing and waiting and waiting and waiting for change. I suggest that she give me my 20$ back and I will give her the exact amount instead, she holds on tight to my 20$ I keep asking her what the total is so I can give her money to pay. I want to go sit down and eat while my food is hot. I ask again, and she tells me she can't do what I suggest because she already wrung me up? I'm thinking, and so what if its wrung up? Is it because she doesn't know how to count? I feel like I'm in the twilight zone, and she has wads of money in both her hands, with the drawer wide open, and I'm now thinking of how easy it would be to rob he. Now she is pulling tip money from the jar to use to give me my change. How stupid of me to ask her, but I did ask because I like Texas toast, so I say, "Where's my Texas toast?" Instead of giving me my texas toast, she starts harrassing me, and she says," You didn't order any," I say, "It comes with my plate. " She says "no it doesn't. I can ring you up for the toast." I ask .Why would you charge me for the toast if it comes with my plate?" Back and forth, it goes about the toast while I'm pointing at the menu where it says 2 sides and Texas toast. Finally, the manager says, "Give her some toast!" Now there are no forks, and I ask for one. The manager tells another employee to get forks, but he tells her he is busy trying to get change for the register. I ate my meal with my fingers, the food was pretty gross, and my stomach starts to hurt from the food, I am out a whopping $16.65, when it's not worth a dime, but I am much wiser now because I will never go back. The soft serve ice cream may have made things better, but the machine is broken. As I'm sitting here writing this, I see another person made to wait while the manager is chattering mindlessly and OMG!!!! They are arguing, the manager and 2 employee's are arguing in front of customers, the male employee has his back pack on and the manager is telling him if he leaves he doesn't have a job, he went back behind the counter and is working again and the drama continues and they are bickering back and forth and O gee wiz, I think the manager is crying because she can't handle her crew. I am so ready to get out of here. If you want cheap entertainment go to the Dickies on a Sunday evening, located on Wadsworth and Colfax! I don't know if it's worth the $16.65 admission fee, but I sure had a good laugh. Never ever again will me and my disgusted stomach ever go back.
