Sandy has been cutting (okay styling but thought that sounded weird coming from a guy) my hair for over 14 years. The location is great, I never have a problem scheduling time, rates are very fair for the quality of the cut. Everyone who works there is great and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Highly recommend any stylist there if you can't get in to see Sandy.

My lovely Kristina M. moved to Duet A Salon a few months ago, and I couldn't be happier! Kristina is absolutely an artist, and does the best highlights I've ever had-- with cotton instead of foil, which makes them look more natural, blend more easily and last much longer. She's always done a great job with my cuts, and is wonderful at updos as well; she did my hair for my wedding, as well as my mom's, aunt's and a few of my bridesmaids', and everyone was very happy with how their hair turned out, and lasted through the night. At this point, I don't even tell her what I want anymore, trust her judgement and know it will end up looking great. Plus, she's super easy to talk to, which is always nice. The salon itself is great-- a very cozy converted house with lots of natural light. Plus, you can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine while you're there, which I very much appreciate. The location on South Pearl is convenient to downtown and a lot of neighborhoods, and although it's street parking only, it's not hard to find a spot. I am a huge, huge fan of Kristina and Duet. Very highly recommended!

I went to this establishment on a groupon. Would not recommend even at half price. Place was filthy, hair all over the floor , and looked like it needed a good cleaning. Service was just average

I purchased a Groupon - wash, cut, style & partial highlights. I was a bit hesitant as I had never heard of the Salon nor the Stylist. Great cut and the BEST highlights I have ever had. I cannot remember the stylist's name - she is a lovely gal who is originally from Boulder. The highlights lasted almost 2 months. My daughter urged me to write a review. My only regret, is that I have moved from Denver and cannot go back except during visits.

Absolutely 5 stars!! I have been going to Duet for years and I get so many compliments on my hair. Everyone is great, but I especially love Kerri because she understands my curly hair.

Michael is terrific. When I recently moved to Denver, I had no idea where to go. A friend of a friend of a friend recommended Michael, and although I never found out her name, I'm very grateful. He does a great job with both cuts and color. (And I have a glass of wine while he does his magic.) Usually it takes about a week for my hair to "get in the groove" after a haircut. Now my hair looks great the next day.

I have been going to Sandy for 4 years. She's very friendly, attractive, and makes me the center of her attention. I always leave with my hair looking just the way I want it. I tend to wait a long time between cuts, but I always get lots of compliments, and her prices are very reasonable .

I have been seeing Sandy at Duet for 15 years. She is TERRIFIC. She does a great job with men's hair. I am pretty conservative when it comes to my hair and clothes, but Sandy has pushed me a little bit and I am grateful. The salon is small, busy, and not very relaxing. That's not a big issue for me, but i undertstand that others may be looking for something that is more spa-like.
