Fantastic staff and facility — but beware unexpected rate hikes
I’ve used this Extra Space Storage location in Denver a few times and the facility and staff are excellent — friendly, helpful, and clearly committed to keeping the site safe and secure. I stored valuable items here because I trusted their care.
However, my rating reflects how Extra Space handles billing, not the local team. My monthly rate increased by 30% with no prior notification; I only discovered the change after my payment processed. Because of that surprise increase, I don’t plan to continue using Extra Space.
Customer awareness: ask about automatic rate changes, get any rate or notification policies in writing, and monitor your billing closely — especially shortly after signing up.
Short version for posting:
Great staff and secure facility, but unexpected 30% rate increase with no notice. Monitor billing and confirm rate-change/notification policies in writing before you sign.

Rhea is an excellent manager at the site. Everything went smoothly with my rental because Rhea put the extra effort in to make sure the transaction went through smoothly and as expected. Excellent Customer service I will definitely use this location again because Rhea makes this so easy and transparent. Couldn’t ask for better service.

We had an excellent experience at Extra Space Storage. Rhea is extremely kind and totally professional. She made our rental and check in experience very easy and we are so grateful. I highly recommend this storage facility which is convenient to the airport

Rhea is AWESOME! I frequently use different storage facilities, and typically the on-site managers seem to hate their job or be annoyed by helping you, but not here! Rhea knows all the company policies like the back of her hand, and more importantly, how to navigate them with customers in mind, actually trying to help you out. Highly recommend.
Seriously, extra space needs to acknowledge they’ve got an awesome employee!

This is a great location, close to the airport. The staff is helpful and went out of their way to help me with my parking spot I rented for several months.
