We did a major remodel project with Factor Design Build and we would recommend them to anyone looking to do similar work. The team and the project was dialed - there was always work happening at the house once the construction began.
With a project such as ours there were going to be some things that popped up and the response from the team and from ownership was always in line or above what we were expecting. That went a long way with us.
During the design process they provided the right amount of choices so that it was not overwhelming. The designer and architect gladly revised our plans multiple times as we did not know exactly what we wanted till we were in the process.
We would recommend Factor to anyone looking to do a remodel project.

Josh and his team- Ron, Danielle, Chris, Landon, and many others- did an amazing job. They handled every aspect of our remodel/ addition, and we got the white glove VIP treatment from day 1. Once the construction began, the project remarkably stayed on track over the next 5 months, and they communicated with us every day with updates and photos. Would 100% recommend!

We had a wonderful experience with Factor Design. The entire process ran smoothly and was completed early. We were so impressed by the professionalism of both the Factor crew as well as all of the subs. We would absolutely use Factor again.

Factor Design sets a high bar for design and construction services. As first-time homeowners, my husband and I knew very little about this process and were looking for a company to handle a basement remodel. We wanted to work with a company that handles all aspects of the project, from architectural services, design, construction, and project management. Factor’s team made us feel comfortable with the process and set the appropriate expectations so there were no surprises along the way. Factor Design Build is top-notch! I highly recommend them – you will not be disappointed with their exceptional service and work!

We did diligence on a few different design build firms to lead our home renovation, and we ultimately went with Factor Design Build due to the organization of their process and the professionalism of their team. We were not disappointed. From the initial design through to the end of construction, organization and professionalism was a consistent theme.The initial design process was very collaborative, and Factor's team of design experts were able to help us create a unique space that integrated our style into our existing home. The construction process was methodically planned, and the construction team was able to quickly resolve any unforeseen issues we encountered. As a result we we're able to finish our renovation ahead of schedule and on budget.We wanted to give special recognition to Gary our Project Manager who did a tremendous managing the job and keeping the project running smoothly. He, without a doubt, treated our house as his own, and the quality of the onsite work product was reflective of that.We would strongly recommend Factor Design Build to anyone considering doing a renovation.

We bought a 2,500 sqft Tudor revival that was built in 1906 in a historic Denver neighborhood. It was outdated and had a typical choppy, closed-off floorplan. We chose Factor to open up the floorplan, update the finishes, and add almost a thousand square feet. It was a big project -- almost a year of construction and several months of planning and permitting.Factor is not going to be the cheapest option. We've remodeled five different houses and this was by far the most extensive project we've ever done. It was also unique in that we were overseeing the project from 1,200 miles away.Factor made our lives easy by handling all the design, managing all the subs, and keeping us well informed throughout the project. The quality of the work is outstanding, bordering on flawless. They hold their subs to a very high standard. I wouldn't hesistate to recommend them and would hire them for future projects.

Ive been waiting months to write this review. We called Factor design build after we saw a sign in the neighborhood. We wanted to add a master bedroom and bathroom and remodel our entire basement. I spoke with their sales department a few months ago and the call was offensive to say the least. Not only did the representative forget we had an appointment, so I had to reach out to him, but we had a project that we expected would be around $350-450,000. The sales representative scoffed and seemed like we were beneath their clients and like they were too good to do our project. .I finally talked to the neighbor that hired factor design and they said it was nothing but problems and their project cost over $1 million dollars. I did some research on the company and it seems this is their regular attitude. We hired Story design build company and we just started the project with them. Very professional and communicative, I would highly recommend you stay far away Factor Design Build if you dont want to be price gouged and treated like you are a peasant. What happened to treating clients with kindness? Never in my 60 years have I been so appauled.

Factor did an amazing job with our renovation project. The entire team was extremely responsive and attentive to our vision and helped us create the kitchen of our dreams in our new home. We really appreciated all of the effort that Factor Design Build put into our remodel. From the start, Josh and Kent explained the process in detail and then made sure things stayed on track. David and the onsite team were fantastic at keeping us informed and worked hard to make sure everything just right. We highly recommend FDB and are very happy with the end product!

We engaged Factor Design Build to do a total, to the studs, renovation of our master bathroom. We continued to live in our home during all phases of the renovation, so we were able to watch the work as it was done and, where appropriate, have input into the construction process.First, from the beginning to completion, all the Factor employees and contractors were a joy to work with. At all times they made every effort to minimize the dust and noise and make us as comfortable as possible.Second, the quality of work was, in every way, first rate. When friends have seen our completed project, they have been amazed at how close to perfection Factor was able to come. There were only a couple bumps in the road, as one can expect in a project of this magnitude, but they were all handled by Factor, quickly and efficiently.Most important were the people who worked in our home. Without exception, all were kind, friendly and respectful. They offered explanation of what they would be doing and gave us estimates of how long each phase of the project would last. Every one of them took obvious pride in the quality of their work. The end result reflects that level of pride.Special recognition has to go to Gary our project manager, who kept the work moving forward, who manifested an amazing range of skills and who kept us laughing throughout. Likewise, Tristan, the area supervisor who regularly checked in on the progress and employed his master problem-solving skills to remedy some hiccups. The contracted electrician, Marty, was always on top of the very complex electrical design. Our tilers, Jorge and Vinnie, did a breathtaking job on the tile. Dakota, our master plumber was also a joy and a very capable young man. It can’t be said enough, all were a pleasure to have in our home.Perhaps the most telling thing that we can say is that, now that the job is done, we miss the Factor crew. All great people who clearly wanted to do their best for us, and did. No surprise to anyone, we’re engaging them to do our kitchen next. We wouldn’t have anyone else.

The Factor team is fantastic!They were supportive throughout the entire process, and incredibly responsive (and patient) making adjustments on the fly as I provided feedback.They brought our vision to life and I couldn't be happier with our new space.I would 100% recommend them without any reservations, and plan on using them again moving forward as needed.

We recently completed a multi-room remodel with Factor - master bed and bath, guest bath, basement bar, as well as exterior flagstone work and a new deck build.From day one of working with Factor, we felt as if we were a part of the Factor family. From the design team, to the construction, and project management team, they spent all the time necessary to go through every detail so by the time our project began, we knew everyone was on the same page, and knew exactly what the design was; right down to the last door knob.Everyone who walked into our home was not only professional and extremely knowledgeable, but kind. It’s a laborious process to go through a remodel, but knowing the people working in your home are caring people with your best interest in mind makes it all worthwhile. When any issues arose, the project management team was right in front of it, coming up with an immediate plan of action for how to move forward.We couldn’t be happier with the end result. Everything is exactly as we envisioned, and the quality is incredible. They go above and beyond. We had such a great experience and would hire them again in an instant.
