Let’s just start by saying that it’s worth the drive and the money! I can not say enough good things about Fetchmasters. I’m no stranger to dog training, either. Their training is second to none, and my 4.5 month old goldendoodle puppy is EXCELLING! Before Mitzi was old enough to attend their classes, Linda Aaron graciously provided virtual training assistance to help us nix some of those early habits in the bud. When Mitzi was old enough to start in-person classes at 12 weeks old, we began attending class 1-2x a week. While it’s a schlep from downtown Denver, it’s unlike any training I’ve been exposed to before. They offer puppy basic classes (which Julia Aaron is a master at!), one-on-one sessions, and the more advanced levels are conducted outdoors in high-distraction environments. We are so grateful to Fetchmasters for their assistance, their attentiveness, and their love of all good dogs (and soon to be good dogs). Fetchmasters is helping us lay the foundations for an incredible dog, and we cannot wait to continue advancing Mitzi’s training as we move into therapy dog, CGC, and PSD certifications.

My bernedoodle and I did the Total Dog Program for 2 months. It was an amazing experience! There is nothing like training around other dogs, prey animals (like goats!) and people. It's the only way to get your dog to truly resist distractions. At first I thought the price was expensive and was wary of the 45 minute drive out to the farm from my home in Denver. But it was COMPLETELY worth it. I always drove back from each FetchMasters group training session really happy and with a tired and better dog. I started seeing improvements within a week! And my dog graduated to Level 2 within four weeks of Fetch Masters (4 minute down-stay, 75-foot sit-stay, recall around other dogs, and heeling without pulling). Not only is the high-distraction environment well-worth it, but Linda and her team are incredible. They have a fantastic training philosophy. They are patient, flexible, and really fun to be around. This is the best dog training I've ever been to. I did PetsMart and Noble Beast training for a bit, which was useful for puppy training. But I'm working on getting my dog to be a certified therapy dog. If you want to get your dog to THE NEXT LEVEL, Fetch Masters is it.

I am a well versed and experienced dog trainer, but when I adopted a dog that was out of my range of skills I knew I needed some training to learn how to shape the behaviors I was seeking. FetchMasters are pros at shaping and positive reinforcement training. They helped me figure out how to take a dog with extreme bath aggression and transform her into a sweet dog that will allow me to bathe her. We got to the root of her fears and worked on it over time (and I learned how to be patient!). Now she’s a completely new dog. Is FetchMasters more than your Petsmart trainer? Yes. But you get what you pay for. Even if you are looking for basic obedience and puppy training, come here. Any issue that arises they’ll be able to handle so long as you dedicate yourself to learning and growing with your dog.

Fetch Masters has been a great experience for both my husband and I in helping to train our overly enthusiastic, leash reactive 1-year old German Shepherd puppy. We love how the group training classes provide a structured setting to expose Zara to different dogs and outdoor distractions to help with her leash reactivity. It has been so good for her and we have definitely seen improvements in her impulse control and ability to desensitize to her surroundings. Zara’s leash reactivity has drastically improved, with much less pulling! I also love how their private training sessions break down the fundamentals and make it very simple to understand and follow….and implement. It is apparent that Tom and Linda are very passionate about helpingothers to be able to bring out the very best in their dogs. I highly recommend Fetch Masters!

Where to start… this place is awesome! The trainers are phenomenal and provide great guidance for dog training no matter where your dog is at right now. We started with the puppy class and graduated to strong foundations and then mastering distractions. So incredibly helpful for our Mini Aussie to be outside and working if his energy. Highly recommend to anyone in the Denver area - the drive is worth the reward, trust me! Finally, I love how engaging everyone here is with not just the dogs but the humans! They make it fun for us too, it’s fun to be out here with all of the animals - miniature horses, goats, bunnies… it’s a petting zoo every other week!

I have been part of the Fetchmaster's family since February 2021 with my King Charles Caviler Spaniel (Piper) she was just a puppy then. Although, she is definitely the smallest dog in the bunch, she has come a long way since then and is not afraid of the larger dogs as she loves them all. Tom, Linda and their team do a phenomenal job teaching me how to train Piper! Piper looks forward to going to training every week and is sad on the days we miss!!! This is a photo that Tom took!

Worth the drive! I’ve been bringing my dog out here for about 7 weeks and we love it! We had done training previously in the city but their outdoor environment and approach is much more realistic for real world success.

I spent two years trying to find the right trainer for my 100+lb high energy, reactive lab. I am just shocked at how much progress he’s made since we started our training sessions. I no longer am overwhelmed with his behavior. EVERY suggestion to address his behavior has worked!!! We both look forward to our training sessions. I learn something new every time. Highly recommend them to anyone that has a dog with high anxiety and poor impulse control. They are the best!!!

This training program was amazing for my dog jazz. She had absolutely no impulse control before we started training and wanted to jump on anything that moved and it was extremely difficult to take her on walks. We went through this program and it's sooo much better now. She can even walk past stray cats without wanting to take off towards them. Everyone there is very helpful and really wants to work with you and your dog to reach your goals.

We have been training with Fetchmasters for 2 weeks now and are enjoying each session. I am looking forward to see Freya grow, gain more confidence and become more reliable despite high distractions. We recommend training with them, doesn’t matter if you are just starting out or have had dogs for 20years. They offer a unique training environment for their clients and will help you succeed. Join the group sessions and have fun training with your dog.

Training my GSP at FetchMasters was extremely valuable and I have taken away skills I will use for the rest of my life. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a positive approach to training your dog. From starting in the puppy classes at 13 weeks to mastering distractions group classes at 1 year, Leo wouldn't be the dog he is today without this team. They were able to help me socialize my dog correctly and teach my high energy prey driven pointer obedience in high-distraction environments. This team is one of a kind - great people and knowledgeable trainers. The total dog program is a lot of fun for both you and your dog. Thank you for everything FetchMasters!

We started taking our Cattle Dog, Buddy, to Fetchmasters when he was 8 months old. Linda and Tom have put together a program that is effective, and really fun, and it addressed Buddy's issues and needs, along with the specific issues of other dogs in the class. We're amazed at how Buddy is now very good on a leash, he is not nearly as reactive when he sees a squirrel or rabbit, and he will immediately come when he is called from as far away as a few hundred feet! The training has made Buddy a wonderful dog to take to the Cherry Creek Off Leash Park, and we get compliments about how well behaved he is. I HIGHLY recommend Fetchmasters, without hesitation.

I cannot stop recommending FetchMasters enough to absolutely anyone who mentions even having a dog. We went through the Leash Aggression and Reactivity program with Linda and it has made a world of difference in our lives. Our pit bull used to be so reactive that we couldn’t take him for walks because even seeing another dog would set him off and he’s so strong that he was hard to manage on leash. After sessions with Linda, group classes, and hours of working with him at home, we now have a dog that we know can handle almost any situation we could throw at him. We went from not being able to go for walks for fear of seeing another dog to him happily romping off leash with 5 other dogs while visiting family without a single issue or sign of discomfort, nervousness, or reactivity. We signed up for help with his reactivity and came out the other side with a dog who can walk well on a leash, do tricks, relax comfortably around other dogs and new people, and knowledge about dog behavior and training that we’ll carry with us with each new dog we adopt. There’s a lot of shame and guilt that comes with having a reactive or aggressive dog and we were so welcomed without judgement by all of the staff, especially Linda. I cannot recommend or thank FetchMasters enough for literally changing our life with our dog and taking an enormous weight off our shoulders.

We came in a hot mess with 2 German Shepherd puppies. One had been sick & separated from everyone while she recovered from emergency surgery which made her miss socializing with other dogs & humans.Fetchmasters has helped these two gain confidence, self control, & the ability to learn more with distractions all around. We're not at the end of training & who knows when we will be, but in just a few weeks we've seen a complete turn around with our girls & we're no longer a hot mess!Private lessons were great to help fine tune. Tricks class helped build confidence. Group class helps distract while still being able to perform. All of these things are keys to success & we're proof of that.Everyone is so friendly, positive, & helpful. Thank you to everyone at Fetchmasters for such a positive experience & the patience to deal with our hot mess girls ?

My dog was a very nervous/under-confident guy which resulted in some reactivity and barking while on leash. FetchMasters did a great job of meeting us where we were at and building from there. The combination of group classes and private lessons really allowed us to hone in on Theodore's obedience while also building his confidence. The trainers are all very patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Theodore is in a much better place than he was previously and I now have the tools to continue building on the strong foundation that FetchMasters created. :)
