I gave one star because I had to give something. I took my car in to firestone in March 2023 at Pleasant Hill, Iowa for a throttle body which cost me $800.00. October 2023 I returned with the same issue but was told it was the PCV valve. I paid $107.00 for this job and that was discounted because my car sat at the shop the entire day after a technician failed to notify me that it was done. Here we are February 2024 and my car is doing the same thing. At this point I am going to another mechanic and if I am told that those were never the issue(s) I will be suing for financial loss. Avoid this place by all means. They fix random things that aren't broken to keep you coming back spending more money than needed I assume. No good

Rick told me to be in Monday bright and early at 7 and they'll have my car done by 11 because I have work at noon. I thought this was an awesome gesture and nice of them to work with me. I woke up at 6am, 3 hours earlier than usual and waited for over an hour for no one to be at the store. I left after 8. What a waste of a good night sleep and a useless 2 hours

No issues with this Firestone location on my end! Got a new set of tires and alignment with no issues. Employees were nice too!

Took my vehicle in to get rear brakes done, was recommended a coolant flush also so I decided to get that done as well. The result of the coolant flush left me with a noticeable hose that was covered in some sort of aluminum foil/tape which im assuming was an heat shield and a smoking engine. Took the vehicle back in two days later because my vehicle was overheating immediately and was told my radiator and hose need replacing but it had nothing to do with the coolant flush procedure. Mind you, prior to getting this work done my hose was not damaged nor had I EVER had an issue with coolant, radiator, or my vehicle overheating. I’m not an idiot when it comes to vehicles but I’m not able to preform the work needed myself in my current situation, but I feel as though I was taken advantage of and not given the straight answer on any of these issues. I was told that the techs “should have caught the radiator issue before “ but hadn’t, and the reason for this is because my radiator and hose didn’t have these issues when I brought the vehicle in. A hose will not crack “coincidentally” after a day or two post coolant flush. I would have much preferred to be contacted about a broken hose, instead of driving a patchwork vehicle a few miles until my engine completely overheated. It is not just “coincidence” I have a radiator issue less than 20 miles after receiving a sloppy coolant flush job. I would have loved to get my vehicle checked out and fixed at a different store, but couldn’t make it further than a mile down the road at that point. On multiple previous courtesy check reports dating back to September, there had been no sign of hose damage OR a radiator issue, it wasn’t until my vehicle was smoking after a coolant flush that they “caught” the radiator and hose problem.

If I could give these store a lower rating I would now I understand it's a car shop so yes long hours but to have a person sitting for a entire shift is crazy to me why schedule appointments if nothing will be looked at or done when they say I watched multiple people come after me and leave before is wrong kept saying your next or next to not be next at all ask me when I need it done by to not even pull it in to the bay WOW NO SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE OR Nothing

I'll be honest, I didn't get any services done. They were super busy, and I was a walk-in. But, the attitude from the younger gentleman at the front end was spectacular. Great attitude and extremely willing to find another location for me. I would definitely try this place again. Hope I remember it set an appointment.... we'll see!!

Big mess. Stay away. Made an appointment. Rejected. The person did not put the reservation in the system. Employees said it is a mess.

I bought a car in an auction in Denver and had it towed to this location. The auction description said the car just needed a new water pump. I figured I would have them put the pump on along with some hoses, do an oil change, check all fluids and a tune up. When I bought the car, it had a flat tire - wasn’t really sure of the status of the tire. I had called this store prior to and they said they would work on it, so I had it towed there. I had done a similar deal with a Firestone in Hisperisa CA and it worked out fine. I just went to CA, picked it up and drove it home. Cant say that for this place - had to pick up the car with a car dolly. Their excuse for not working on it was they thought there might be a rodent inside. There wasn’t. They replaced the flat tire with an ugly looking snow tire out in the parking lot - I didn’t want that tire - It looked like a large donut. They didn’t ask me anything about the tires/tire. When I got there, the parking lot was full of vehicles waiting to be worked on so it was hard to maneuver a truck/car dolly. I really needed a transport trailer but no one had one in the area. I don’t know how would have fit it in the parking lot - I barely got the dolly in there. When I popped the hood, I expected to see signs of a rodent hut but only found one piece of grass and nothing was chewed on. I jumped the car (had an old battery that I would have had them replaced had they actually worked on the car), it was definitely drooling coolant on to the ground more than any water pumpshould. It could be a hose with a hole in it - typically when water pumps go out they don’t pour coolant out - it just drips. I walked up to the building to ask for some water to put in the radiator and all of these Gen zs wouldn’t look at me or say anything - but one said don’t come in the shop. I even went to the office and couldn’t get any help. It made me feel like a homeless person asking for a drink of water. I went down the road to O’Reillys and got some coolant that was destined for the ground and came back, loaded it up and drove off. Financially, these folks have me strapped with rental truck, tow dolly, food, fuel, hotel on a f-ed up vacation. I had ideas of buying the pump and fixing it myself, but no one had the parts for a 93 Ford Thunderbird. You would Thought I was trying to buy something for a diahaitsu. I got down the way to get to a gas pump down the road and some chick on her phone cut me off and caused me to have to turn in a way the dolly kinked my rocker panel on the car. I guess against my better judgement, I towed it down the road and didn’t disconnect the driveline because of some weird loop. Hopefully I didn’t mess up the transmission. I dropped the car off 6 hours away at an auto storage to leave it somewhere safe. Uhaul charged me quadruple for not bringing the trailer back to Denver. Enterprise kept calling and threatening me for stealing the car because I had to keep it a few extra days because of all this - and the car ended up getting stolen from where returned it to. Ultimately, I was refunded for the tire i was charged for and the district manager said he had a hard time finding people who would work at that location. Do not go there!!!

Front desk man was so nice, considering he didn't have much help. The work I needed done was done as asked and they were so kind to ask questions to make sure they understood the request.

GREAT SERVICE! Friendly, efficient, helpful. I needed my tires looked at for a while, but my regular dealership has not had availability. I called Rick in a pinch and he was kind enough to fit me into his schedule, even though he was understaffed and already slammed. I appreciate his help & quick handling of my tires. I will be back to Firestone on Colorado!

The customer service team was friendly and professional. The prices for what my vehicle needed were extremely reasonable.I’ve already told my family in NM to sure to take their vehicle to Firestone in their town.

I’ve been using this place for 10 years, and it’s never been good service, but today it was worse than ever. I made an appointment for Saturday and brought the car in. They claimed I made the appointment online (even though I made it over the phone) and said they didn’t have time to swap my tires out, which was all I needed. Apparently they were not honoring any online appointments they had (again, mine was not made online). I had to make another appointment for the next Tuesday. My new appointment was scheduled for 10:00-12:00. I had to ask a friend to take the car, since they wouldn’t let me drop the car off before work, like I had done in the past. My friend dropped the car off at 10:00 and it wasn’t ready until 3:00. That’s 5 hours to switch out my summer tires for winter tires. Why take appointments at all?!? Plus they charged $130 to swap out 4 tires! I apologized profusely to my friend that he had to wait so long. They didn’t even say they were sorry. Definitely Will be finding a new shop next time.

Pleasant experience. Simple winter tire swap and filters. Front desk person (AJ I believe?) gave good time estimate, explained any topics or repairs I had questions about. I caught an issue with my work order while in the lobby and he promptly corrected it as there’s a bug transferring data between their stores (so double check your work order if there’s a mistake with lifetime mounting, and if so they can fix it).

Just had my car here for 7 hours. I asked for my snow tires to be put on and my windshield wipers to be fixed. They told me both would be completed, but when I went to pick it up, they told me everything that was wrong with the wipers, but did nothing to them. I had to take off work for this appointment that shouldn’t have taken a fraction of this time, and it wasn’t even completed. Now I’ll have to take more time off to bring my car somewhere else for the wipers. I’m not bringing it back here, but Rick, who was working the desk was nice and the best part of this frustrating experience.
