I tried to open a checking account online, put in an application for an “Anywhere Checking Account,” was sent to a physical location to “verify my identity,” where I was passed off to a manager who told me I had 2 options, neither of which was the account I applied for. Even the account I applied for had a lot of fees, but avoidable ones. The only two options I was given in the physical bank had even more fees. They even have a laminated board with all their fees for their accounts.Tells me the bank is poorly run. A bank that pays no APY on a checking account can use my money to earn interest, but I should pay $10 a month to be allowed to have a debit card? This bank gave me impressions of being predatory and sleazy. They are one step above payday lenders in my book

Shortchanged, covered in ink and barked out of the store by a general manager. Reads like the beginning of a novel, operates like a FirstBank. This location is the sole reason I withdrew the entirety of my funds and discontinued my accounts with FirstBank. Within a 20 minute interaction, after countless attempts to withdraw $50 cash both in the drive through as well at the teller's desk, in and out of the bathroom cleaning off from the ink soaked bills I received, (conveniently making it past the diligent eyes of the teller, into an envelope which was also soaked and into the tube transport, covering that as well) only one individual communicated clearly as well as able to do the correct math in order to retrieve my money. Politely after requesting to abolish my accounts, I was excused by an alternate manager with the money I was fortunately able to get out of my account. The guy on the phone, Brandon I believe, has the customer service skills of that entire branch combined and then some. Great job Brandon! Shame it'll be the last we get to solve yet another FirstBank mystery together.

Staff refuses to let customers use the restroom, because that might cost 1stBank a few cents worth of water.Colorado State Law requires most businesses to have a restroom available for customer use.

Normally I come here for business only for my company. I've never had an issue until today the teller Megan was very rude as I was talking to her asking a question she walked away disrespectfully thankfully the teller next to her was polite enough to answer my question...

I've been banking with First Bank Colorado for over a decade and my father as well. It is shameful that they seem to be targeting the average Joe with their unethical over-drafting policies moreso now that there is a pandemic. I can see why this company was sued in 2018. "There is no justification for these practices, other than to maximize First Bank's [overdraft] Fee revenue," the lawsuit reads. Now that there is a pandemic they have only doubled there efforts to produce revenue from overdraft fees. Someone at First Bank can explain. How one automatic bill pay(which is recommended by the bank) can take my account to -$39 dollars and then 3 days letter when I check the account it has grown to -$210? I can see that you held on to my previous charges and when that bill hit like it does every month you stacked overdraft fees on all of them. So why are your analytics warning you and not me that my account is about to overdraft?? Why are you holding onto my charges longer then necessary when you know an automatic bill is going to hit? People if you are looking for an honest bank, I highly suggest looking elsewhere. But I am just a combat veteran who has given this company close to $1000 dollars in overdraft fees since the covid-19 pandemic started. Personally, I'll be taking my business to a bank that is worth a s*** after they take HALF of my unemployment money this month. First Bank,,, you guys suck.

No attention to customers what's so over. The girl at the window rolled her eyes. Her names Erica and she took off her mask but put it on when looked at. Not only do you come here to get money you also come here to get COVID-19 because they do not wear masks even tho it's required. The two guys at the desks did not care to put on their mask the whole time being there.
