The worst internet service in the valley. No wonder they're going out of business. Pay $70 for 100 Mbps and only get 35 max (20 if you're lucky) constantly breaking cables and weekly outages. Avoid at all costs.

Genuinely the worst ISP I've had the displeasure of TRYING to work with. When you call in to let them know their connection to a business contract line is dropping insane packets they usually "have no indication of service degradation" and ask that you be on site to try and "find the issue" and then the service outage stops an hour or multiple hours after and magically becomes usable again. Avoid these peoples with all that you can - unless you're of course stuck with only being able to use them which unfortunately is common. Run away - run very far away.

One of the worst experiences. Internet service was terrible (no greater than 30mbps), customer service is difficult to get ahold of, and when you go to cancel they can’t prorate the bill so you pay for a whole month even if you only use it for a week.

Routinely have multi day outages. Customer service can never deliver ETA for fix. Have bad infrastructure as single data center outage was full outage for 5+ days. Probably only have one days center which is absurd. If I had another option for internet I'd switch.Their customer service and tech support only work business hours so good luck with weekend or after hours outages or issues.

Worst internet provider I've ever had. Been trying to get a service tech to come check the equipment for over a year to no avail. Tickets put in always noted as closed without any contact. Rude customer service people that do nothing to help. Almost had a stickers moment with that guy. Worst internet. STAY AWAY! EVEN IF YOUR DESPERATE. STAY AWAY. BUYER BEWARE!

Worst internet imaginable. Horrible service.I pay $70 for Giganet fiber service. Yet I consistently only get about 100Mbps download speed despite my contract actually saying I pay for 1000Mbps (speed checked via cable direct from modem). I called them and they said they would have an engineer call me back. Never did. I have had for over a month with poor connectivity. I have to call a third time on Monday. During activation they repeatedly try to upset you their router if you want WiFi and make it extremely difficult to use your own (should be plug and play but required over an hour of a phone tech tapping keys and repeatedly trying to rent me a router for an additional $20). They essentially have a monopoly in my area so we are screwed which is why they don’t care how many people write horrible reviews. Comcast seems like a dream at this point.Update: it’s 6 months later and they still haven’t fixed my stuff or issued me refunds.

We pay for 1gb internet and currently see speeds as low as 32Mbs. I have called forethought support and been hung up on several times. When I have spoken to someone, they claim it’s my router but even when I plug into the modem directly (which they recommended) speeds are sub 100Mbs. On my last attempt 2 weeks ago, the person told me engineering would look into it, but I’ve heard nothing. If you have the choice, stay away from this “fiberoptic” option as their service is garbage.

This is a horrible internet provider. I couldn’t get a hold of the sales rep when I moved in to get my router. Now 2 months later, Ive been without internet for almost 24 hours and have left 3 voicemails no one has called me back to help. My apartment does not offer me any other provider I literally have to use them and I am paying for internet I don’t get. This is ridiculous. Call your customers back when they need help!!!

I didn't think that their service could get any worse, but now that they are in bankruptcy, it's almost nonexisting. I have better things to do than wait for phone calls that never come.

This is the sole internet provider in our town and unfortunately they cannot hold up their end of the bargain. They have incessant hardware and software issues resulting in outages for some depending on your specific hardware. Their customer service is non-existent, when you call the billing department, you sit on hold for 20 minutes only to then be transferred to a voicemail with no phonecall back. And their billing department is unethical. I received numerous bills filled with mistakes, received no phonecall back, and they auto charged me twice my typical monthly bill. Luckily I use an AmEx for this bill, because I certainly do not trust this company to have integrity. I wish we had other options. When the internet does work, it at least works decent enough.

Forethought started out somewhat iffy when they came to our town, we stayed as patient as we could and for a while it was just okay, nothing great. Lately we have lost internet several times, sometimes for days and when you try to call, you literally can't get through to any of the phone numbers.

This is one of the worst companies that I have ever had experience with. The original company was frontier.net and was local and excellent. When my local ISP was acquired by Forethought the old email interface was abandoned for Roundcube.net which is absolutely awful. It is slow and does not have the the functionality of the former interface. Tech support is a joke. My first experience was a request for assistance in setting up my new android phone with email. I was informed that their platform would not work on android. My next attempt at tech support I was told that a representative would get right back to me. It took two days before someone called. The final straw was when I tried to log into Roundcube my internet security program informed me that the security certificate was outdated and they would not protect me if I logged in. And for this they charge me $10/month?

I have been trying to get help loading my email on my computer! Suppose to call me back and it has been two days. I need to see my email! Important things coming in! This is disgusting!

They will charge for you for speeds they literally cannot provide, and if you complain they will lie and hang up on you. I tried to deal with them for six years, because I wanted to support a smaller local company, but now I’m heading to Xfinity.Legitimately the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had (looking at you, Julie). Do not give them a dime.

Absolute trash, and their customer service person, Julie, will tell you blatant lies and then hang up on you if caught. If you want less than 6 Mbps max, with service dropping multiple times daily and customer service who will literally hang up on you if you don't like being charged for a service you don't get, go with Forethought. If you want actual internet service, run away and don't look back.
