I placed an online order for same day in store pickup for a 500 gb PS4 and a dualsense edge wireless controller for my ps5. Confirmed the order and headed into the store. Upon arrival the clerk told me that they didn't have any dualsense edge wireless controllers and they only had the display ps4s. So I took the ps4 and went to best buy for my dualsense edge controller. When I tried to boot up the ps4, it just beeps 3 times and doesn't turn on. This is an indication that the hard drive is bad on this "cleaned, tested and guaranteed, certified pre owned ps4". Except if it was tested at all, they would have known it's a dud and they wouldn't have sold me the product. After I get home and discovered all this, I also noticed that they charged my PayPal and checking account BOTH for products they weren't even able to sell me. This is fraud. So now I'm almost 700 dollars into purchases that I wasn't even able to make at their establishment. I'll never go to another GameStop EVER AGAIN after this catastrophe.

Went to trade in an old console. Wasted 20 minutes with it plugged in to a DP instead of HDMI. Manager stated we can’t take it If we can’t see that it works. I checked their monitor and saw it was plugged in the wrong spot and said can you try it in the correct spot. It indeed worked. Employee then said it needs an update and their wifi is slow so I’m better off taking it home and maybe coming back. For video game aficionados they sure seemed pretty incompetent. I’d rather throw my console in the trash than talk to these people again.

A clear display of laziness. Went to pick up a new controller, grabbed one marked 29.99 and the employee who rang it up said “oops forgot to change the price tag” and then wouldn’t honor the price listed on the box. No regard for customer service nor any good reason why he couldn’t honor it. He said i don’t have “the strip to scan”.

worked here in 2004. i went in a few years ago just out of curiosity to see if anything had changed policy/business wise. literally nothing has changed. how has a company so corrupt been able to scam both customers and employees out of their lives and money with NOT ONE SINGLE COMPETITOR emerging after all these years!? I get that they ate EB games, Gameforce and the other competition back in the early 2000's. but come on. companies like this that are so widely known to be nothing more than greedy monopolies should be way beyond bankrupt/defunct.

This place has gone downhill, and fast last time i went they opened 2hrs late and now they sold my roommates pre ordered game and didn't have any in stock. Don't think ill be going back any time soon

Absolutely fantastic customer service, staff and leadership. They were more than willing to accommodate my needs when I had health issues and no transportation. Just superb all around.Edit: There was an issue with the switch I purchased (nothing to so with the staff) and they were once again more than accommodating. They knew I had an ACL/MCL/meniscus tear and didn't want me to make the trip (as I have no transportation and had to bike), I did it anyways with my exoskeleton brace and they not only fixed the issue but compensated my efforts for getting there with a tee shirt of my favorite game (yes, they remembered when I told them). It sounds dumb, but for someone in my situation, in-between jobs and having major surgery less than a week away, it meant the world for me. Once again, excellent staff, excellent leadership, excellent service, but most importantly, excellent service/sympathy/accommodations for someone in my position. I wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not when I say it meant the world to me for them to understand my situation. Others have not. They did. Thank you Luke and all that helped, truly.

First, I came in today to get a preorder and the cashier after sitting on his phone challenges me by when I ask he says “yeah?”. Then he’s swearing up a storm which is so unprofessional. Josh, you’re a horrible employee.Secondly, this store is ALWAYS so dead and this experience is just like every other experience I have here. It’s always dead quiet, with a few employees sitting on their phones not even trying to work let alone help anybody. I hate coming to this location

I shop GameStop, they always have the stores clean neat and organized. Makes it very welcoming for my family to shop. They always have the newest games for every console out. The staff has always been very knowledgeable and friendly. They know how to make it a very memorable experience for everyone. Getting my daughter and wife PRO Memberships was easy because the whole family enjoys going with me to GameStop. They have something for everyone! The savings we received from the pro membership has paid for itself and it's only the first month of a year membership. The Pokémon cards have been so much fun, thanks to GameStop. The Funko selection is unmatched. Receiving points for every purchase is another added bonus, since I can redeem my points in store to use towards in store purchases or I can redeem online. When I shop online the deliveries are shipped very fast and I've received all my items in great condition.What a great company! Thank you GameStop!
