Ace Car Wash at Hampden and Yosemite is a well-maintained facility that offers a variety of car wash services. The equipment generally works well, and the wash stations are kept tidy without overflowing trash cans. Customers appreciate that the water is hot and that the car wash serves its purpose effectively. The pricing has increased over time, with wash cycles now costing around $3.00, and the duration remains consistent at about 3 minutes per cycle, using roughly 9 quarters for each wash. Many customers find paying with a credit card offers better value than using quarters, although some note that the card system may hold a slightly higher amount temporarily. While the wash itself is effective, some users have experienced issues such as being overcharged or encountering a less visible sign for the location. The facility has had some management changes, leading to increased prices and some concerns about the cleanliness of the trash areas and stalls. Despite these minor issues, the car wash remains a practical choice for a quick, efficient clean. Customers also mention that the equipment, including the soap, rinse, and spot-free cycles, generally works well, resulting in a clean vehicle. Overall, Ace Car Wash provides a good car wash experience with reasonable prices and reliable service.
This is the best car wash ever!! It used to be called something else, but since there is a new owner or something, it is amazing!! Super clean, super bright, you get the most time for your money, and it's cheap!! I will never go anywhere else. I highly recommend Big Jim's
