The ladies at the Glenarm & 16th Street Mall location are wonderful! The location is difficult to get to, due to ongoing improvements. Tiana, the receptionist was so warm & welcoming. Bonnie & Sherman were so kind & considerate over my feelings of overwhelm to find this location. And, Penny was professional & did my state filing for me. Thanks to all the staff; you made something stressful so much easier!

If I could leave 0 I would. I had an appointment with a Sr Tax Rep, Penny. She sent me home and didn’t want to help. I had all the tax information on my computer, but said she was “sending me home with homework”. I scheduled an appointment for help with taxes because I didn’t know what documents I needed. She said she didn’t either so come back when you email me. She didn’t tell me what I needed to email her, despite having all my accounts open for her on my laptop.

This location has amazing tax prep professionals, my wife and I had 3 years of returns we needed refiled because a tax app made too many mistakes. Not only were all the filings accepted, but we received refunds on all of them, we'll never go anywhere else for tax preparation.

It’s lovely walking out with your packet, excited to receive your tax refund to find out they haven’t done your taxes… oh and the only attempt of reaching out to let me know it wasn’t done was Sunday, the day before taxes are due. Trying to get ahold of any of them in the office is almost impossible and when we do get through it’s always “they are with a client and will contact you back” for no calls, emails, or text. This whole experience has me out over $1000 thank you. I wish I could go to work and not do my job….

Dropped off all my documents and Bonnie took care of everything
She even cut me a small discount which ment ALOT to me. I'm in a bad spot financially so this little step she did really went above and beyond.
I'm still in a bad stop but thats not the point. The point is that this was as easy as it could be and I feel like i've been in good hands the entire trip.

They don’t communicate key information effectively and barely take the time to learn your name, often calling me by the wrong name when filing my taxes. It’s disappointing because I’ve used hr block most of my adult life. But the level of care and attention to detail make me question the accuracy of my filing in the first place. This is very likely the last year I’ll be filing with hr block, and if I do it will certainly not be at this location. Extremely frustrating.

Completely rude and disrespectful to throw down my papers in front of my face and tell me since I had tried starting myself on turbotax, that I could go ahead and do it myself. When I'm clearly there because I can't do it myself and was paying 400 dollars for you to help. Edit: I just took the time to file myself and saved 200 dollars compared to H&R Block, and am very happy with my return amount!

This office could not figure out my taxes. They referred me to the mail office. I paid to file an extension but they never sent it to the IRS so I received penalties and they wouldnt cover it under the guarantee.
