Do NOT use HR Block! My accountant retired so I tried HR Block. I took my 1040EZ to them and was scheduled to get my federal return on Feb 11. When my return was rejected I went back to them and realized they had not only misspelled my name but they had entered my account number wrong. The manager Sally Shafer told me I needed to talk to my bank and see if the bank would allow the transaction to go through. She also told me it was my fault because my name was wrong on my W2, which it wasn't. I had to tell THEM to pull back my state taxes and correct the errors. I was also told I would have to sign a POA if I wanted their help fixing my federal return.I have tried to file a complaint with their head office and have not heard back. As of now my federal return is on hold and HR Block hasn't even returned their fee. DO NOT USE HR BLOCK.

My interaction with William Engel, Tax Specialist was excellent. He was very friendly, professional, and helpful. I would use H&R Block again!

I because the price goes up to $50 a year. I paid $220 for 10 minutes of service. Ridiculous. I’m gonna do my own taxes next year. Doesn’t seem that hard because it ask you the questions right there he’s got touching a few numbers how hard can that be
