tried to get checked out , and the cashier kept getting distracted by another cashier having a discussion other than work related. It was so bad that the lady was having a hard time pulling up my rewards information and when i would try to give her my information again, the other associate would interrupt with a personal conversation. finally i left the merchandise and went to another store. my visit was 11/29/2019 5pm MST at the front check out.

We had recently went to JCPenney because there was a deal happening about buy 1 pair of boots and get 2 free, we asked two employees mitsy and I couldn't see the other employees name to verify that we can use that deal in the store both employee said yes, so we spent around an hour trying on boots and finding the best pair we can find, when we finished we went to check out and the cashier was rude and said that we couldn't use the deal and mitsy the girl who said we can use the deal was also rude and said we couldn't when she had told us earlier that we could . Not only was this a waste of time but it was an unpleasant experience.

They are very rude. You ask a question and they look at you up and down before answering the question. Also, forget using a coupon they won't look at it and just say no about the coupon. It's very disorganized.

Went here with some coworkers looking for some work attire. Jen was extremely helpful in us understanding the current sale and helped us multiple times in finding exactly what we were looking for. Both Jen and Anna blew us away with their attitude and customer service. So much so that we talked about how rare that is most of the way back to the office. Extremely satisfied with our experience.

My son is home on leave from the army, this was our only chance to have family photos done. When we arrived at 11:15 for our appointment the photographer was still with the previous family, there was a newborn crying and such so I did not disturb their photo shoot, we just sat down and waited patiently. Around 11:30/11:40 another employees arrives, she puts her things down but doesn't acknowledge us or greet us in anyway. In the meantime the photographer is still busy with other family. I mention to the other employee that it's ok that they're running late, my kids are wandering the store. She tells me there's another family ahead of us which confuses me as it is now almost 11:45, so I tell her our appointment was at 11:15, she looks confused and asks if I had checked in. I told her I hadn't because there was no one here to check us in and I didn't want to disturb the photo session that was in progress. A few minutes later, the other family is wrapping up so I text my kids to come back because I thought it was going to be our turn. The photographer comes out and informs me that because WE were late, she has to cancel our appointment!! I assure her that we were not late, that just because she and the other worker didn't see us or something does not mean we weren't here on time and that I chose not to disturb her, which she thanked me for and then admitted that they mis-scheduled THEIR day. She admitted that the previous family had a 10:20 appointment but she was told her shift didn't start until 11! How dare they try to pin their mistakes on us, not cool at all! She finally admits that the management at this studio screwed up and asks us if we would like to wait to see if the next family doesn't show up. Well the studio becomes chaotic and crowded so we just decide to leave. This studio is understaffed and incompetent, I highly recommend going elsewhere for photos.

This store is a mess! I shop in the Women's Plus Department, and clothes are just thrown on racks, many of them in the wrong department. They also have a really terrible selection, especially compared to the store in Aurora Town Center.

Excellent JCPenney store, me and my wife strolled in here one evening after eating dinner at Olive Garden. Picked up a really nice polo shirt on my visit. The store was clean, and the staff were friendly. Will be coming back soon.

I can only assume they have a new manager because this location has gone down hill quickly. What was once a nice clean, organized and well staffed store now resembles an old Sears that is ready to be closed down. They now have a HUGE clearance crap section, the store is a mess, dirty, disorganized and understaffed. What I did purchase did not ring up correctly. The cashier looked at me like she did not know what to do or whom to call. So disappointed. I won't be back to this location.

So I am actually a fan of JCPenny because I think they have really stepped up there game over the years and you can often find stuff for really cheap there. However, during a recent shopping trip, I went to use the restroom at this location and it was dirty and not stocked at all. Only one stall had 1/4 of a toilet paper roll and there were no paper towels. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned/restocked in a while. You are a major chain...you could at least hire someone to clean the bathrooms, if not for the customers then at least for your employees that have to work there all day.

Pretty much like a typical JCPenny, which I love. Was pretty hard to find out where exactly to check out at first, but I figured it out eventually. There is always a sale going on!

The return policy is a mess. I used my debt card which is money drawn directly from my checking account. I returned 2 items and I was told it would have to go back to my card. That I could not receive cash back. I asked the cashier " You realize this is a debit card not a credit card". She says yes but i will have to put the money back on your card. I asked her how long it will take for it to appear back to my checking account and she said in about an hour. Of course it didn't. I call today and the phone rang and rang. After the 4th call I finally got through to someone who told me to call back so she could switch phones. I call backed and spoke to someone in customer service who I inquired why I could not receive my cash back. If I make a return anywhere else and use my debit card I get my cash back. She didn't seem to really be concerned about it. She advised me the money would appear back in my account within 2-3 business days. I asked for a manager. I was put on hold and when someone finally answered the phone was so staticky I could barely hear her. So I hung up. I feel they should post their return policies which would include if you use a debit card we may not able to give you cash back for returns. Khol's, Target's and Walmart have no issues with refunding cash that is pull from a checking account.

I have used JCP in the past for custom curtains but will no longer. This store does not want the business. I let the phone in homes ring 50 times and finally went to another department and vented my anger. I will go some place else to have the service I need. Don't use JCP.
