We really enjoyed our recent two night stay at the Kimpton Claret. The hotel was very clean and modern as to be expected with a newer hotel. Staff were very attentive from the moment we had checked in. Was provided a brief overview of the property, amenities and reward perks for our stay. The rooftop restaurant had a lovely relaxed vibe. We had a few cocktails at the HALO , they weren’t the best, but the atmosphere made it worth it. The restaurant on the first floor had much better breakfast and cocktails than I expected. Would recommend this property for all. Overall was a great experience. Thank you Kimpton Claret!

This hotel was amazing! The decor is very nice, and the food from both the restaurant and rooftop bar are excellent! There are some really stellar options for food and drinks including a daily social with complimentary alcoholic drinks. The staff was very friendly and the front desk attendant did a good job of explaining the details of my stay. There was also a really nice bath tub in my room. This hotel stay was great and I highly recommend staying here!

Overall this place is a 4! I would have rated it a 5 if there had been places / desks to work at in the room or otherwise. We were told you can work on the 2nd floor near the meeting rooms etc. and there were chairs but no tables or desks for a laptop to rest on. The Hotel is modern and new and wonderful. Coffee by the reception desk was amazing.

Called multiple times to the front desk and AR and couldn't get through to anyone. It just puts you on hold forever and then hangs up on you.

Barely functioning AC, super noisy, poorly planned room, and a bad habit of overbooking their rooms.
There was constant noise, with super loud bass and music playing all night outside my room. The auto lights in the bathroom were constantly flicking on and off every few minutes. Most of their room doors don't have calibrated dampers, so you just hear doors slamming shut all day/night.
All the lamps in the room have on-lamp switches and there are no wall switches in the main room (is it 1985 again?). The beds share 1 lamp in the middle.
There's a mini fridge, but no space to put stuff in it as it's all filled with scam priced food/drink/alcohol. So is the top half of the desk.

Great hotel! There was the most delicious pizza and drinks in the lobby from 5-6pm. Perfect size and delicious flavor. There is a staff person named Noah who does room service and was wonderful. Highly recommend.

It's a beautiful hotel. I would absolutely come back again and enjoyed every night we stayed here. There's a restaurant downstairs that had a breakfast/brunch menu that was amazing. The best brunch I've had. The hotel was extremely clean and the lobby was beautiful. The two things I didn't like is that there isn't any parking so we had to park in a parking garage across the street. They do offer valet for $50ish a night which we couldn't justify the price for the visit so parking across the street was cheaper. The other thing that appears to be a common gripe amongst other guests was the size of the gym. It's too small, people were trying to cram into got upsetit, and left. I've seen hotels with bigger gyms and hotels with smaller gyms. This one could be bigger. Otherwise, it's a great place and I highly recommend staying here.

I booked with Chase The Edit to get a $100 property credit. This hotel charged me for amenity fees even though the property credit covers them. I called three times with long hold time and then got hung up on. Chase card services spent an hour on hold and had to try multiple times to reach the front desk.
I got refunded for the charge, but it took two hours on hold and escalating to Chase customer service to reach anyone. Watch out.
WiFi went down while I was there, and the front desk refused to help. I missed a work meeting because of it.
Fix your billing policies. Fix your WiFi.

I had a mixed experience at this property. I really wanted to love this hotel, as I’ve always had great stays at Kimpton locations in the past. My first visit was generally positive, though the staff didn’t inform me about available amenities or the credits I was eligible for. They did provide a nice upgrade, and I gave them the benefit of the doubt, assuming the team was still getting up to speed.
Unfortunately, my second stay was much less impressive. It became apparent that this hotel focuses more on maintaining appearances than delivering genuine customer service. While the staff seem friendly and accommodating on the surface, when an actual issue arises, you’re essentially on your own. Loyalty status doesn’t seem to carry much weight here. I even escalated my concerns to IHG corporate, but the response from the property was basically, “too bad.”
I understand that each property can set its own policies, but I’ve never encountered such a firm “no” from an IHG hotel without at least being offered an alternative — until now.
Parking was another frustration. The hotel uses the adjacent garage for valet, and it’s nearly empty overnight — likely used by nearby offices during the day. I requested access to my car late at night and was told it wouldn’t be an issue, only to find that it was unavailable and no staff were present to help. I ended up having to retrieve my car myself. (Note: the attached image is not the garage I’m referring to — it’s just the view.)
The room itself had several shortcomings: limited electrical outlets, only a small table for working, and a coffee machine that was only available upon request. The minibar leaves no space for personal storage, and I only discovered a filtered water bottle filler on every other floor by accident — it was never mentioned by staff. Also, note that only one specific bath salt packet is complimentary; other ones are charged.
When everything goes smoothly, this hotel can be a pleasant place to stay. But if anything goes wrong, don’t expect much assistance — especially if the fix isn’t simple or might cost the hotel money.
Lastly, if your plans involve going downtown, be prepared for a traffic nightmare. This location is very inconvenient for that purpose.
Update: This hotel has provided a solution that has resolved my issue with them.

Cool location, nice lobby and facilities. Came to the hotel tired and left exhausted since the AC goes to 64 and there is no setting for a fan. Rooms are *dead* silent, like insanity asylum silent, and there isn’t even a fan in the bathroom. Someone goes number 2 and your room is doomed I guess. Shower? No mirror for 30 minutes. Unless you like to sleep in absolute silence or with a tv on all night, this place is the absolute worst sleep I’ve ever had in any hotel of my life

Honestly It saddens me to have to rate this place so low. I was excited to find a nicer hotel in the area, every place I’ve stayed at in the Centennial area is incredibly worn down.
However, even though the location and staff are nice the property has issues and it’s brand new.
For a $200 a night hotel I should not have to wake up sweating every hour because the AC won’t stay on without motion in the room. I don’t care if it turns itself off during the day when I’m not there but at night this is insane.
I contacted the front desk on night one and they said engineering would “look at it” well night two was just as bad.
So unfortunately even though the beds were comfortable, I was unable to sleep because the room would not get below 75 degrees! In October nonetheless.
Two of my teammates had the exact same issue in their rooms.
The hotel also was very poorly designed and finished. The shower had no shelf for the soaps so they just set them on the floor of the shower (again $200/night…). The bathroom vanity is so small yet there is four feet of open dead space they could have used.
No in room iron
No workspace for the business traveler
There are water stations on the floors in the hallways which is a great concept, but the water shoots out like a firehouse and there is no drain or sink so the counter just sits there with standing water and soggy carpet because of the drips/spills
And last but not least.. as a platinum member I did not get an upgrade but my two team mates who travel once a year were given higher floor nicer rooms without even asking…
There is a $35 amenity fee which gives you a $15 credit at the restaurant and a bunch of other “discounts” that really don’t provide any true value. Frankly I’d rather just see a higher rate and not be surprised by this fee (which was not shown on our corporate booking portal).
I hate to say it but the Hilton Garden Inn is more well thought out and significantly cheaper and more comfortable.
I gave two stars because each employee I interacted with was nice and the location is good. Other than that I would give zero stars.

A stunning hotel!
The room is spotless, with a comfortable snow-white bed and excellent daily housekeeping.
The view from the 15th floor overlooking the forest is breathtaking.
There’s also a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, as well as an amazing rooftop bar.

Wanted to love it but didn’t. Specifically chose this hotel from Chase exclusive because it’s a brand new hotel and I had high hopes. First downside was online while booking it said all taxes and fees included, I get there & there’s a $38 amenities fee. Not sure what the amenities entail because there’s no pool or jacuzzi, etc. You couldn’t really tell who the front desk agents were because no one is in uniform and they just seemed confused. I called up to get access to my WiFi cause it wasn’t working & the front desk woman said well can you come down here. I had just traveled 10 hours and really just expected a quicker fix which was then given to me by someone else. Restaurant hotel is SEVERELY understaffed. Took us 35 minutes to get our cocktails at night, and same issue during breakfast with the bartender saying “YOU NEED TO GIVE ME A SECOND” after we ordered lattes. Overall I would stay elsewhere.
