I recently went to pick up my prescription, which I had requested using the pharmacy's automated system. According to the system, I had active refills remaining. However, when I arrived, I was told by the technician that I had no refills left. This was confusing, as I was certain I had a 6-month refill on file. The employee told me they had been trying to contact my doctor for a refill request—something that didn’t quite make sense, as I believe it’s typically the doctor who sends the prescription to the pharmacy, not the other way around.
When I asked why the automated system gave me inaccurate information, the technician dismissively told me not to use it. That was frustrating—why would a company offer a system designed to make things easier for customers, and their employees only to have its own staff tell us not to use it?
Thankfully, the manager stepped in, reviewed my account, and resolved the issue by adjusting my 90-day fill to a 60-day supply, which allowed the refill to go through. I'm grateful for their help, but I was extremely disappointed with the attitude of the initial technician. He was rude, unhelpful, rolled his eyes, and clearly didn’t want to deal with the situation.
This could have been a serious issue if the medication were life-saving. In my case, it was an antidepressant—which is still important—but the lack of support and the confusion caused by conflicting information from the pharmacy’s own system is very concerning.
I hope this feedback encourages better training for staff and a review of how your automated system is integrated into actual pharmacy operations. One helpful manager shouldn’t have to compensate for a broken system and poor customer service.

Had a great experience here. Quick, competent and very courteous. Used to go to Safeway but always had issues while this team did a great job and made the experience very smooth! Would highly recommend.

I’ve gone to numerous pharmacies in the area (Safeway, Walgreens, Walmart) and returned to KS despite it not taking my insurance. I have no had my issues getting my prescriptions and the text messaging is always accurate. I’ve asked for them to get it to me sooner is some cases and they’ve met it, provided they have the drug.
Where I’ve ahead issues with a dye, they helped find an alternative dye-free one. Last, when I ask for “the best price,” they’ll help look using good rx, king soopers and insurance.
From the reviews, I’m guessing some people don’t like Guillermo but I love him.

Never and I mean NEVER rely on this pharmacy to get you the medications you need. I have had so many issues here it’s actually insane, I kept trying to work with them because they are close to me but never again. I’ve been going through really bad side effects from not having my medication the last few days. They said it would be ready same day and 4 days later still no medication. I call and they say it was brought to the wrong KS and then they just straight up canceled it. Gone. Didn’t call me or anything. So yeah after this it’s safe to say I’ll be trying anywhere else because I can’t deal with their totally lack of communication and ability to get anything done. Really sad and disappointing when you can’t rely on the people who are meant to help you get the medication you need.

If I could give less than one star, I would say the disrespect and lack of customer service were unacceptable. Long story short, I have a dye allergy. The pharmacist or pharmacy tech at this location did not take the time to read the doctor's note stating I had to have a pill without dye due to allergies. The tech went one step further, telling me I needed to call and find it myself. I could also open up the blue pill and just take what is inside. They did not even bother to do an initial check my Doctor advised the powder inside was yellow and the Pharmacist made a production of getting the pill and opening it up to find out that it was yellow. The Pharmist prior to these new people was Amazing! I only changed to this pharmacy because of her. What happened to good customer service! Make sure you advocate for yourself.

Unreliable, slow, and poorly managed. Takes at least one day and often more than that to fill prescriptions and will often miscommunicate about availability of medications if you call ahead. Avoid this place if at all possible.

I've interacted with hundreds of pharmacies as both a patient and provider, and this one consistently impresses me with their attentiveness, responsiveness, and kindness. Calling them can be difficult but it's because they're giving excellent attention to customers in person.

Happy to leave this consistently terribly serviced pharmacy. Prescription is never ready on time (if in stock - yet it's a monthly order for the last year??).
Staff has improved, but very understaffed. There was a male tech who had the worst bedside manner.
Cannot get ahold of the pharmacy when you call and when you do, you are waiting on hold for 10+ minutes. Recommend going anywhere else.

I called they put me on hold saying two people were ahead of me. I waited on hold for 16 minutes before being hung up on to call back and be told there were now 4 people ahead of me.
Clearly we need to learn how to use the phones better.

This pharmacy is consistently terrible. Medication consistently not ready even after you get a text telling you it will be ready for pickup, high price for medication that is suddenly dropped when you complain (Why is this $87 my insurance should be covering that. Oh now it’s $26 because I said something? Seriously?) Frequently out of generic so you have to pay twice the price for name brand, and icing on the cake today is they opened at 9, it’s 9:20, I can SEE SOMEONE inside the pharmacy, and nothing. I can also tell from the space under the closed sign that the bars are still up inside. Un. Believable. This place is absolutely terrible. They are now 25 minutes late opening and there is STAFF INSIDE behind the “closed”’sign. Gah!!! Do not come here.

This is the third time I have submitted a refill request for my dog's medication, the website says they have contacted the vet's office for reauthorization, and they have not. The last time I had to call the pharmacy. The person I spoke with was very rude and refused to tell me the contact information that they have for the vet. Lo and behold when I gave him the fax number, the refill request finally went through. King Soopers doesn't even have the correct prescriber listed. I just transferred the prescription, hopefully Walgreens can do a better job.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!!! It takes me 3 months MINIMUM to get anything filled. After waiting 3 months, I called to check and was told THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE A CHART FOR MY DAUGHTER THAT HAS BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS!!!!
