Waste of time. I booked a simple flu shot appointment here on the King Sooper’s website. I go in and they tell me there’s no appointment under my name and they won’t let me get my shot saying my appointment was actually somewhere else. I then show my confirmation email showing the exact name, address, and time of my appointment that all match up to this location. They tell me there’s nothing they can do and I should just come back as a walk-in tomorrow, but won’t let me be a walk-in as I’m standing right there. Wasted so much of my time for no reason, fix your broken system. I even rebooked an arbitrary appointment just to make sure I didn’t accidentally select the wrong box or click the wrong location and it’s the exact same. This is a screenshot of my confirmation for proof.

This king Soopers is always busy, I get that but dang. The pharmacy is something else. They have a few good workers but the little young Asian lady and the short haired lady working there is rude and sits behind there and talks bad about customers. Its just not good business. You offer a service be more respectful to the ones you are serving. If you can't do that go get a desk job.

Honestly, the customer service here is abysmal. They don’t treat their customers like human beings, barely acknowledge you. The only reason I kept going to this location is because it’s right down the street. However, now I am changing location’s because I just can’t trust this staff. I was given the wrong needle size for my progesterone shots, but the bag said the correct size on the outside. No one communicated they gave me a different size than ordered. So I find out as I’m noticing a problem injecting the oil. I called my doctor and she said I absolutely cannot be using the size they gave me. So when I call today to tell them they gave me the wrong size, the lady just said oh yeah, we don’t have the 22g…. Like there’s no problem with the fact that they mislead me to thinking I did receive the correct order. Also, they never help find a location that has the correct prescription! This is the second time I had to call 5 KS pharmacies to get my prescription filled. Customer Service is much better at other pharmacies. The one on chestnut street said they’ll order me more of the correct size. Why wouldn’t my local pharmacy do this for me??? I hate this place.

Avoid using this pharmacy. They are understaffed, unhelpful and somehow out of common medications.

Everyone hates on pharmacies so I'll be quick. After a long holiday they were understandably backed up and couldn't have my medication for a few days. I asked if they could expedite it at all and the pharmacist filled it right away. She didn't have to do that, but I thought it was nice and it really saved me.

This pharmacy continues to be the most frustrating experience. Staff can be nice but it’s a 50/50 toss up if you get someone rude or someone professional. Service is slow, even if my doctor sends in my script it is not always ready when it is supposed to be. Super inconsistent.

It is astounding to me how incredibly rude this pharmacy staff is. Judging based off the other reviews that have been written, they don’t really seem to give a damn. I have been filling my prescriptions here for about five years and never once have I been met with an ounce of kindness or a smile. They treat you like scum when you walk up, like you’re putting them out and why would you even consider bothering them. I’ve frequented this King Soopers both when it’s extremely busy and quite slow…it makes no difference. Oh, and don’t even expect them to fill a prescription on time; if the automated system tells you to pick up by 5pm the following day, nope. Also, never expect them to actually contact you when they’ve finally decided to fill your prescription. You’ll just need to predict it on a whim of the atmosphere or something. Furthermore, don’t even think about ever sending anyone else to pick up your prescription—they’ll practically ignore them. I think this staff needs a huge morale boost, a mass exodus, or some training on what it’s like to actually speak to people like your fellow human being. I just moved and it’s the perfect opportunity for me to switch pharmacies IMMEDIATELY. Save your energy and your heart and go elsewhere. Sheesh.

Kind staff, but really really poor customer service over the phone, I tried calling numerous times, only to listen to the phone get picked up and immediately hung up.

It is ok but I was on hold for almost 15 minutes then hung up on. When I called again and said something, the person working shifted blame.

I'm giving two stars because the staff was at least professional. However, their voicemail system is incredibly ineffective. Every time I've had a prescription called in, I'd arrive at the desk only to be told that they hadn't received it in their system. My Dr. would have to call it in again and I'd have to walk home and walk back to the pharmacy to get it.
Today, I went to pick up my prescription and was told once again that they didn't receive it in their system. This time they provided me with a direct number to give my doctor and when asked when it would show up in their system, I was told it could be another 30 to 40 minute wait. So, I'd have to walk home, walk back to King Soopers, and if they didn't receive it, I guess wait another 30-40 minutes? That's ridiculous.
So I had my Dr. Call the Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy (1601 E 19th Ave) (about an 8 min drive away) and he was able to speak directly with the pharmacist right away. She gave me a call and was incredibly warm, genuine, and professional. Thanks to her, my prescription will now be ready for pick up in 30 minutes or less. Now that's customer service! :)
As for King Soopers Pharmacy, if your prescriptions are put in electronically. I think you'll be good to go! It seems to only be a problem if your prescription needs to be called in. :) Good luck!

I truly don't know why everyone is giving this pharmacy 1-3 stars!? I live like a minute walk away from this store and get 4 scripts sent here at all different times a month and the staff is super nice and accommodating! They're fast and professional as well! If they don't have my stuff ready when I get there they ask me to wait a second and it's done right then!

I switched to this pharmacy because it was closer but this pharmacy staff is really rude. I get that they get busy but some of the staff is just downright unpleasant and need a real attitude check. I hope management does something about it because it’s honestly crazy how the staff here think they can talk to people.
Not only that, they kept saying my insurance was rejected and basically sent my us away to try to figure out the issue rather than offering any support. After I called my insurance and the pharmacy again, it turned out the pharmacy stuff was just entering the number on my card we were providing them incorrectly. They didn’t apologize or acknowledge it was their mistake. Honestly, there is just very sloppy and lazy work here and I’m not sure I trust this pharmacy with filling my prescriptions anymore (if they can’t even enter a number on a card in front of them correctly, why would I trust them to fill my prescription correctly), and I will likely switch to a different one in the near future.

Been coming here for years- most of the staff is usually very sweet. I’ve thankfully never had an issue with delays in my meds.
Unfortunately I don’t see as many familiar faces as I did a few months ago- probably high turnover and understaffing.
Subsequently, there is one pharmacy tech who I now always have upon checkout who is incredibly short tempered and ill mannered.
I don’t want to point her out by description because this is simple feedback on how to conduct yourself in a customer facing role.
It’s genuinely so sad that she has never once had a pleasant tone and often slams items down on the counter behind the glass. She has never replied to my greetings or thank yous in all the months I’ve seen her there.
My job is also short staffed, I’m *also* underpaid, and I have crappy things going on in my life- but I don’t take it out on my customers.
Please consider that it takes more energy to behave like this than it does to simply be kind to the person in front of you.
If you write this off as “I’m just being efficient at my job and cutting out the fluff.” genuinely, reconsider that.

Rude and unreliable every single time I go. The website is completely inaccurate for estimated time frames and though I don't necessarily blame the staff (they seem overworked), they don't seem to care about me being 2+ weeks late on their estimated refill date. Go somewhere else if you are able.
