Efficient, friendly and never have to wait long. Unlike every Walgreens I've ever had to deal with. So glad I made this my new pharmacy.

* Credibility: With years experience visiting this location, my report compares today's unfortunate *situation* with the past many years of *good* experiences. What *caused* this extreme decline?1) In summer of 2023 I had 4 consecutive bad experiences with checkout staff in the east U-Scan lane - they were rude and didn't care that they showed it. Three times it was the same person being rude. I can't use her name her, but she is the shortest person in this position, and she has worked there many years. This lady used to be the single sweetest person you can imagine, but apparently, something in her work environment took a major change, which is also what I've seen, and it is being taken out on customers - I witnessed her treat another customer poorly as well, being short, unhelpful. One occasion, this person was just not friendly, seemed distracted and not wanting to interact. That's not so bad. But the next 2 experiences with her were not so great. Next visit, I needed help at checkout, she came over, I said hi, smiled and asked a question. She ignored the question, so I asked a 2nd time. She ignored me again, walked away after huffing while she fixed the machine, acting as if I was a waste of life. her actions made me feel crappy. So I walked out leaving the groceries and went to Safeway to spend yet another hour. - Revenue lost when it is badly needed.Next, went back about 1 week later and had forgotten about the short lady being rude. Went to UScan and got hung up again, something didn't scan right. The machine signaled I need help. I looked over and saw the short lady with a angry look on her face walking toward me. she approached me, said not one word, and again in a huffy manner abruptly poked buttons to clear the error, never once saying a word, smiling, or acting like she was in customer-facing business role that requires you at least fake a smile. Nope, none of that. She was rude yet again for no discernable reason.2) The guy in east UScan: 2 weeks ago I visited. There was a guy with short brown hair, glasses, attending. I walked up, it was not busy, I made eye contact, smiled, and said "hello". He immediately looked away with a frown, ignoring me. I followed with "How are you doing?" as I walked to my scanner. He turned and walked away. Wow, what friendly staff!3) On 10/16 I visited to buy buns. When I approached the bread section there were two men having a loud conversation. One worked there, one looked to be a customer. The worker was mid 30s, short black hair (buzz cut), and very thick glasses with black frames. He had stopped working to talk to hat appeared to be a friend or acquaintance. I was near the donuts, so their loudness was obvious. As I approached, they ended the conversation and the 'friend' walked away. When the friend was 30 feet away, he began yelling back at the stockboy-man, which made a scene - he was just saying goodbye but is was pretty rude, what with me now standing between them. This is not the issue....I am looking at the available buns, looking or the best deal when the stockboy-man moves his cart full of bread to be directly in front of me. Imagine this - I am alone, standing 4-5 ft back from the buns looking at them, facing them. The stockboy-man knows I'm there standing 9 feet to his side while he stocks bread behind me. He then turns around, moves his cart to be directly in front of me, btwn me and the buns that are directly in my line of sight. He then moves the cart a little more and stands DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ME, OVERTL, KNOWINGLY BLOCKING ME. There is ZERO about this being intentional - it was. This stockboy-man is knowingly blocking me. I stood there, motionless, staring at the back of his very short black hair and the fat roll on the back of his neck (truth, objectively). I waited 2 minutes standing in one place, never moving, never turning, just in disbelief that this guy is so rude not only to a stranger, but to a customer at his place of work. I dropped my basket right there and headed to the Service Des

If you're looking for a prime example of a store with abysmal customer service and flagrant negligence, look no further than the King Soopers at 5301 W 38th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80212. I had the misfortune of entering this store for a simple task - to exchange batteries I had mistakenly purchased in the wrong size. My experience was nothing short of infuriating.Upon my entrance, I was welcomed warmly by an employee named Boo, whose professionalism and courtesy were immediately overshadowed by the appalling actions of the rest of the staff. Boo kindly directed me to the unattended customer service counter, where I was informed that the staff was on a 15-minute break. I patiently waited, watching as several other disgruntled customers came and went, lamenting the store's habitual lack of service. After the designated break time elapsed, I sought assistance from a petite blonde woman who appeared to be a manager. She dismissively brushed me aside, claiming she was "busy." Moments later, she led a staff huddle directly in front of me, where I stood waiting in vain for acknowledgment. Every staff member at the huddle made eye contact with me, yet none of them assisted or even acknowledged my presence. As I continued to wait, an elderly woman waiting for a money order nearly passed out as she waited and was ignored. During the huddle, a man walked in, brazenly shoplifted items, strolled right through the huddled staff, and exited the store, alarms blaring, all under the watchful but indifferent eyes of the entire staff huddle. After the huddle disbanded, the team went about their tasks, still ignoring me. 40 min. Had passed since I first started waiting. Another customer told me he was informed by an assistant manager that it would be another 30 minutes before the customer service desk would be staffed. Defeated, I left the store. On my way out, Boo approached me, asking if I had received the help I needed. Upon hearing that I hadn't, Boo apologized profusely. Though I appreciated Boo's sincerity, it couldn't erase the shocking neglect and complete lack of regard for customers displayed by the rest of the staff and management. This store epitomizes poor leadership, and whoever that dismissive petite blonde woman is should be relieved of her duties immediately. The abhorrent lack of accountability and indifference toward customers is reprehensible, and I will never set foot in this King Soopers again. I strongly advise others to avoid this store if they value their time and expect even the barest minimum of customer service.

I shopped for an hour, full cart, went to check out at 9:45. One checker open with 19 carts in line. Two self serve check-out lanes open, over 30 carts/people in line. One self checkout lane with 6 or 8 stations closed. This is why I quit going to Safeway - no employees to check you out. Is this the new normal?

It feels like the King Soopers around the Denver-Metro area are in a race to see how terrible and annoying they can make their stores. 20 self-checkouts, but only 5 are open and only 1 other register was open. King Soopers and other grocery chains put the onus of checking/bagging groceries on you while 15 employees stand around doing nothing. The other employees are busy standing in middle of aisles making it frustrating to walk around the store.

Why is the meat department closed at 5:00pm on a Saturday? And open the damn west doors. It's a dump these days.

I've been going to this pharmacy for the past 5 years, with my prescriptions getting screwed up on a monthly basis. They always blame it on someone else, the insurance, the doctors office etc... Don't buy that BS. This last time I had a very important injection and they screwed up by sending a pre auth for half of the amount needed and didn't even bother to tell me they only filled half of the prescription. I realized when I got home and couldn't take the dose. When I called the pharmacist told me too bad either take the half dose or wait till next month? "WOW" My doctors office called them to literally tell them how to fix it, since they couldn't figure it out and they hung up on them. One person flat out lied and said they filled the whole script this place is a shit show. Meanwhile I'm a student in need of my medication and it has now been almost 2 weeks since THEY screwed up!!!!!!

If you in a pinch or need some last minute items and are in the area, then stopping at the King Sooper is a good option. I frequent this location because it's near my gym. However, they are typically out of many vegetables and sometimes their produce isn't the best, I will say the check out lines are always fast and the quickest way to cash out is self check out.

Called to see if my prescription was there orif it was transferred because the app has not been working and I didn't know if my transfer request went through. Sat on hold for 15 minutes and when someone finally answered, she was rude to me. Long story short, my prescription was transferred but she kept asking me if I wanted it filled there or not and talking to me like I was stupid. I'm glad my prescriptions were transferred to another King Soopers where they are actually nice to their customers.

The customer service was AWFUL I went thanksgiving shopping I asked the man in the produce who seemed like he didn't want to even acknowledge me where onions were and he said "somewhere overt there it's literally thanksgiving eve if we don't have it then it's not there go look" I was a bit thrown off so I walked away....the next thing I know I see other confused shoppers trying to find stuff a lovely customer actually helped me find the yellow onions I needed it. Next the meat department I went over there they didn't want to acknowledge me either until I waved and the guy gave me a look like "oh no another one" so I asked him where this specialty cheese is and he said our cheese is about to be shut down...I said is there any other cheese I can go get? He said yeah by the Christmas tree I said what Christmas tree? He said "that one and continued pointing aggressively" it wasn't even a real Christmas tree it was a white on white painting of a holiday tree... I went over there doing nothing. The cheese section wasn't shut down he lied and said this were the only ones available by the white o white wall tree so I went back and saw more cheeses I finally found the one I got. Then I was looking for thin sliced bacon the other meat department worker gave me a hard time saying all bacon is the same I said for the recipe I need thin slice. He said well your gona have to deal with the thick sliced I said " do you think it'll work if I slice it myself? (This recipe is special and needs to be done correctly it says in my cooking book or it won't come out the same" then he went ahead and said I'm not slicing your bacon! I said " That's not what I meant... I asked if I bought the thick ones can I slice them myself and get a similar result? I'm new at cooking this guy is a meat department worker I just wanted a little help and he was not helpful neither was his other employee they were both rude. Next I was looking for a spice I asked the produce guy I really didn't. Want to encounter him again but no one else was available and the meat guy told me he can't tell me we're spices are because that isn't his job it's the produce guy's job. I went to him and he said well once again it'll be on isle 8 I said I understand but do you have a general idea of where you can give me where it's at ? He said there in alphabetical order. I went looked in alphabetical order absolutely nothing was in alphabetical order I once again asked another friendly customer if they could help me find it and they also made a comment on how rude your store's customer service and employers specifically in the produce and meat department are probably more in guessing. I felt I welcomed and like thanksgiving is supposed to be exciting and fun to go shopping for making family dinners but this experience left me in a bad mood . I've never had that much negative energy from employees who not only tried to ignore me, it help me , gave me Mia leading information, was rude , made inappropriate comments like I need him to slice my bacon that is in package...I didn't ask that he just wanted to be mean. Your employers are mean and need attitude checks!!! I won't be shopping here ever again. I will be letting others know as well and it's not just me even the other customers agreed how hateful and mean your employees are. This store use to have such better people not sure what happened but I hope you can talk to them and give them a reality check on customer service, manners, greetings, helping and just a sense of compassion for others.

A large store with a mature customer base. Much different than the store we typically shop at, but comfortable and well stocked.
