Donna that works the front end is such a nice and helpful person! If more people were like her then the world would be a much better place. King Soopers is lucky to have her!

I have shopped at King Soopers since 1969 so I have seen lots of changes. I appreciate it when King Soopers advertises the produce that is Colorado grown because I buy lots of produce items. I buy mustard greens and cabbage twice a month and truly believe these veggies have kept my family healthy. Also throwing in beet tops, carrots and turnips helps add needed vitamins. Like many other shoppers Redbird poultry always makes delicious dishes. Lastly, I would say 98% of the King Sooper staff are knowledgeable. Plus, they are courteous and cheerful. And when spending my money I want to give it to a happy person who makes me feel good when I hand over my money. Stay positive King Soopers.

No more handbaskets not enough lines open. their system doesn't scan right so you have to stand and wait while they watch you on video. I've been a customer here for 8 years and I will not be back after my experience today. I didn't even buy my groceries. I just left my food in the checkout line. . what a joke.

This review is for the pharmacy.Very, very unhelpful staff. I stood facing the pharmacy tech nearly 3 minutes before he even acknowledged my arrival. The card reader wouldnt read my card right and he said he could run it manually but he wasn't allowed to. He called 3 different store managers who never showed up.Never apologized. Didn't take responsibility. Only seemed frustrated that he was being asked to work.

The store was:Clean: 5Variety: 5Produce: 5Competitive prices: 5Accessibility: 5Health & safety: 3.5I want to convey my sincere appreciation and some concerns following a recent visit to one of your Denver locations. I was very pleased with the cleanliness, the outstanding range and quality of the produce, and the competitive pricing. Furthermore, the store’s commendable accessibility features significantly contributed to a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for wheelchair users.I would also like to express my appreciation for supporting our neighbors who are responsible pet owners and who rely on their pets for companionship and support. It is heartening to see a community-minded approach, considering the diverse needs of your customer base. However, beyond personal discomfort, the presence of pets introduces substantial health and safety risks especially when placed in shopping carts. My son suffers with dander allergies, this exposure forces me to take additional precautions to prevent severe allergic reactions.Regrettably, not all pet owners are responsible, and failure to properly clean up after a pet has relieved itself poses considerable health risks. The remnants of fecal matter, hair, and saliva potentially left in carts are serious concerns. Additionally, when pet owners interact with their pets and subsequently touch food items, shelves, and basket handles without washing their hands, there is an increased risk of jeopardizing the health of both customers and staff.I love animals myself, so I empathize with the desire to have pets accompany us. However, I strongly urge management to reconsider the pet policy and enforce stricter regulations to uphold store cleanliness and maintain a safe and healthy environment for all. To help alleviate these concerns and ensure the well-being of all customers and staff.Suggestions:1.) Clear and visible signage indicating the pet policy.2.) Designated pet-friendly areas.3.) More stringent enforcement of cleanliness norms (pet owners)Overall, my experience has been positive. The ongoing commitment to cleanliness, quality, and accessibility is truly appreciated. I believe addressing the mentioned concerns will further enhance the shopping experience for all patrons, accommodating those with allergies and sensitivities.

They do not have ANY handheld shopping baskets. I decided not to buy anything, I walked out. I will go somewhere else. I was about to spend at least $50. I'm not sure how much a basket costs but I think that losing a paying customer is worse than paying for a basket.

I’ve worked in retail so I know it’s annoying when customers come in right as you’re about to close (but honestly it’s not that big of a deal - you’re gonna be there closing up anyway so it’s hardly an inconvenience imo). But locking the doors fifteen minutes before closing is a totally different story. That’s not just inconvenient, it’s 100% illegal (customers inside the store were literally locked in). Like c’mon, how lazy or desperate to be somewhere else are you that a few minutes makes that much of a difference to you? I’d call corporate but I know from previous experience that they don’t care about customers either. Do your shopping elsewhere, people. Don’t support this nonsense.

Time to go to every King Sooper and boost everything. Drive them out of business. They want to fire veteran employees who video criminals. Odd business model.

The store is typically dirty, out of stock and worst of all hardly any check out lines available when you have lots of groceries and the bags don’t fit and the machine slows down if you have over a certain threshold of number of items. King Soopers are lazy and cheap and refuse to staff the store properly. Poorly managed waste of time most days.

Self checkout here is terrible. If you bring your own bags you have to click “not bagging” for each item and the employee that’s working has to come over every 10 items and scan their badge. The employee is always off doing something out so it takes forever to check out a large order. Otherwise it’s a clean place with a lot of selection.

The store is fine the pharmacy is a whole other thing I don’t know what the issue is. I come to pick up the prescription they say it’ll be 20 minutes I waited an hour and a half now I called to see if the prescription is ready they told me it’ll be another 10 minutes.I’m confused why is it taking so long to some amoxicillin. it’s my first time coming to the pharmacy and I think I’ll just stick with Walgreens!

If your prescription gets transferred to this location, IMMEDIATELY MOVE IT TO ANOTHER PHARMACY. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET GOOD SERVICE HERE.1. The balding pharmacist with the long beard called me a man because he said my headscarf was covering me up. Microagressions are never pretty, but this was just lazy. He apologized, but the next thing he did is unforgivable.2. I came to pick up medication for an elderly person. The same pharmacist who misgendered me said it was being filled off-site and to return the next day. I left and was advised by my friend to return to the pharmacy to move the prescription to a site with better staffing.I returned to the same pharmacy 5mins later, and this time they had the prescription ready. The claim was that they could fill the prescription since I returned and it must be urgent. Why send me away to return at 5pm on Wed when the medicine was already behind the counter? What happened to the claim that is was being filled off site? Why didn't the balding and bearded phaacist to misgenders people of color not ask me to wait 5mins while he filled the prescription? The female pharmacist walked behind the secondary counter and returned in 30 seconds with the medication. She claimed that since I came back she would stay a few mins to fill my prescription. I am furious that selective service is considered ethical health-care.The lesson of the story is take your business elsewhere. It's the first and last time I will set foot in that location. The unprofessional behavior is a waste of time and you deserve better service!
