They were super quick with my oil change. But the main reason I’d gone in was because I had a brake light out. I asked if they could change the brake light, and they agreed before performing the service. When they said my car was done, I asked about the brake light and I was told it would have been too much work to do, so they just didn’t do it. ?♂️ now I’ve had to schedule an appointment with a mechanic to get that addressed.

8 Months to solve the issue!
Diagnosed as cam shafts, initially. They are replaced with what turns out to be faulty parts. So we're back in to have them done again. Issue is not solved.
Now we're diagnosed with faulty cylinder heads. They are replaced and the issue persists. It is determined that there were faulty parts installed and we now have damage to the engine block. Now we wait while the dickering begins between the parts manufacturer (Power Torque) and Jiffy Lube as to who is financially responsible for the motor replacement. We are generally uninformed as to any developments or lack there of, as we wait and wait and call and text, and while the vehicle sits, and what communication we do get is either a brush off, or an outright lie. We finally solicit an outside mechanic to accompany us and give us his take on this mess. After an assessment, he agrees that a new engine block is indeed needed, and that he just so happens to have one. He works a deal with Jiffy Lube to supply the motor(as of this writing, he has not been compensated). The motor is delivered and we watch as our vehicle sits behind the garage for another two weeks. We are well beyond two separate delivery date promises at this point. Of course, as these dates come and go, it is us, who have to do the pressing for information and updates. While our vehicle is now home and seems to be running well, the blatant disregard for timeliness, inconvenience, and communication is inexcusable.

I brought in my Durango in because of an oil leak. The manager, Anthony, informed me that they would be giving me a call when they had figured out what was wrong with it. I waited and waited and finally they called me to tell me that my car was DONE. Aren't they supposed to ask me permission first before working on my car? They never even apologized for not asking my permission to do the work, but they sure didn't hesitate to take my money.
Beware.

My car was in Jiffy Lube for 7.5 months.
In mid-March 2024, my car started clicking loudly so I brought it to Jiffy Lube store #3922 off Federal and Evans to see what was happening. They called me and explained that one of my cylinder heads was failing and the second was most likely not far behind. Rather than having to pay the labor charges a second time, we opted to have them both done for about $6500.00. They were quick to get the car done, so I was able to pick it up on March 29, 2024, and paid in full. I live a block and a half away and by the time I got home, I knew the problem had not been resolved, so I brought it right back. They concluded that the parts were faulty, so they reordered them and replaced them again. I was able to pick my car up on May 13th (there were some issues with the Auto Zone they were using for parts orders, so they switched to O’Reilly). Again, the clicking was not resolved and now there was an added misfire. We decided to take the car to the transmission shop that had just put a new transmission in to double check that there was nothing wrong with it. After many tests, they found the transmission to be working perfectly, and the issue was in fact in the engine itself. On July 5. 2024, we brought it back to Jiffy Lube.
Again, Jiffy Lube stated that the parts failed, but this time they saw that there was internal damage to the engine. We were informed that they would need to replace the engine. They let us know that they would not be able to do any work on the car until Power Torque (the company that made the cylinder heads) agreed to pay for the engine themselves because they did not want to lose any money on my car repair. This turns into months and months of myself calling and texting Anthony, the manager, asking for updates and being completely disregarded. The only answers I usually ever got were “We haven’t heard from Power Torque”, “I will check to see what is happening. I wasn’t there yesterday”, or “your car will be done on this date”, but of course, it was yet to be pulled inside of the shop. Fast forward a bit…I asked a friend of mine who is a mechanic to come look at the car. He happened to have the engine that Jiffy Lube needed to replace the existing damaged one. They finally decided to move forward and received the engine from my friend and only after I got the corporate office involved. They had the engine close to two weeks before finally replacing it.
I have been extremely patient with Jiffy Lube through this process even though they have obviously been lying through their teeth to me weekly and completely disregarding and disrespecting the stress and financial situation caused to my family from not having our car. Once I started writing reviews and contacting the BBB and news channels, Jacob Hernandez told me I will not receive a refund if I kept up my antics. I believe my family deserves a full refund over this to compensate for the money lost during the last 7.5 months. I hope that all of you that are reading reviews about this company, specifically the Federal and Evans location in Denver, rethink your decision about allowing them to work on your car. Their management team is horrific, they lack communication and have zero compassion for their clients.
DO NOT trust Jiffy Lube with your car because they will do everything in their power to blame others for their screw ups, rather than lose a little money to get you back on the road.
I am aware of Griffen Fast Lube, the owners of store #3922, will be reading this. I have reached out numerous times to you and would like a call from someone who will help me file a claim for a refund. Please stop ignoring me because I will not go away.
