Lumonics Light & Sound Gallery is an art studio and gallery founded by the late light artists Dorothy Tanner and Mel Tanner. It is among the first and longest-running light art projects in the US and is home to the Lumonics School of Light Art, awarded Best of Denver by Westword. Dorothy Tanner was the recipient of the Denver Mayor's Award for Innovation in the Arts. Lumonics offers a multi-sensory experience called Lumonics Immersed, where each performance is one-of-a-kind and orchestrated live to relax and energize the body, mind, and spirit. Visitors describe the space as an "exciting opportunity to witness a powerful legacy of art and community" with "truly unique" and "mesmerizing" art presentation. The gallery hosts a variety of events, including experimental jazz performances by the Sun Ra Project, which are said to "fit the space well." Guests praise the knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly staff, as well as the comfortable seating and included snacks. Overall, Lumonics is a highly recommended destination for those interested in unique, immersive light-based art experiences.

Super cool and utterly unique experience. Took my wife there on a rare date night and we both really enjoyed it. Too bad there weren't many options nearby for a good dinner beforehand :)
