Double check the website to ensure days and hours, very hot and humid day. Had to take an Uber, walked around, trying to even find a place, where when I got there it was no sign, no one was there, and it was dark. Extremely disappointed , and frustrated by their lack of courtesy for people who might be traveling in from out of town.

The Mudhead Gallery was full of beautiful turquoise pieces and a friendly and knowledgeable staff. The gallery has been there for 40+ years. We found some one of a kind pieces of jewelry dating back to the 1940s. Their selection was very wide, authentic vintage pieces, super friendly, went out of their way to show us pieces that weren’t on display and they have a great layaway policy if you want a piece but don’t want to pay for it all at once. Highly recommend a visit while in downtown Denver, Colorado.

Just the coolest collection. 40-year collection, very helpful and friendly people, and they offer one-year layaway with 20% down, if you're into it enough! (I didn't even look at the prices, so YMMV.) Seriously, though, such beautiful, quality pieces with absolutely meticulous attention to detail.

I bought a beautiful kachina doll and had it shipped back to my home state. It took them quite a while for them to ship the item; I thought back on my experience at the gallery, I found it appalling that they would ask me if I worked. Do they ask every customer this?

I forgot to re-rate this place. Several years ago I originally gave it a 5 star review because it's a beautiful store. I had originally bought something for my mom when I was in Denver for her birthday or Christmas. Then the next year I ordered something off their webpage for Mother's Day. I ordered it two and a half weeks in advance so plenty of time for it to ship and be here on time. I didn't receive it for over 2 months after I ordered it and I only got one of my items with no explanation as to why it was late. Whenever I called to check on my order no one picked up the phone. And I never got an I'm sorry or anything via email or with the package which I think is completely unprofessional. I did get a refund for the item I didn't receive and that's it. Their website is atrocious and I will never order from them again.

Hats off to Mudhead Gallery and it's lovely owner Lois Joseph. I've been searching for years for just the right Navajo cuff, because of large wrists, and found it there. A great selection, good prices, and wonderful service what more can you ask for. Thanks, and GOD Bess, Rich

What a magical gallery! Full of beautiful Native American art treasures. Owner Lois and one of her colleagues Joni were very kind and took the time to evaluate a couple of vintage pieces I brought in. If you're visiting downtown their gallery is a must stop!
