I wanted to give this place five stars, All the employees here are pretty friendly and helpful. I’ll except for the manager for the vitamins. Me and another lady needed help, in fact we are trying to help each other. When the manager of the vitamin department came over, she acted like we were bothering her and it seemed so bothered that she had to put a box down to help us. When I asked her what she would recommend, She was very rude and was saying well I don’t know what you want when I had just stated what I was looking for. She did the same to the other lady who needed help. This is probably one of the greatest encounters I’ve had with someone, And if she hate your job that much I think she probably shouldn’t be working there, especially in a customer facing position. She would be better off in the back not talking to anyone, Very negative energy and I definitely won’t be going Back there to ask about vitamins! Associates in the vitamin section in Northfield are a lot more friendly!

I am having a really frustrating time with the store app trying to search for specific products. Im asked to log in multiple times to go to different app features when I'm already logged into the app.

Natural Grocers, formerly know as the Vitamin Cottage is by far the best of its kind in town. They only carry organic fresh vegatables and fruits.
The have a large selection of vitamins.
I have seen them discontinue many items because they dont meet their standards of quality or guarantee.
They have a decent frozen food section, good selection of breads, they also have a very good personal care area with maby detergents, shampoos, lotions, etc.
If you are looking for the best organically oriented supermarket in town, this is it.
There are well over 30 locations in the dvr metro area by now, so you are never far from one

Today 5/22 around 11:46am I came here and they were pretty well stocked and the vegetables looked good. I am on my 30 min break and when I walk up to the only available cashier she is talking to a coworker about her break. So I waited. The older woman greeted me and rang my items. She told me the total and I got exact change which seemed to be incredibly inconvenient for her with a sigh and tongue click. After getting out my change she made a remark about okayy this is the change now where is the rest like I didn't have the cash in my hand. Then I handed her exact change. She challenged me and said it didn't look like the amount (13$) and it only looked like 13. She didn't even try to count or shuffle it in her hand. I said okay and dug for more. She shifted theoneg between two hands and said it wasn't 13. So I took it from her and counted it out for her like a child despite the fact she was twice my age. Don't be so rude, if you don't want to count cash like an adult don't be a cashier. What a horrible customer service experience.

I really like Natural Grocers, I buy misc items there. Chiefly dry lentils & beans that really shouldn't be that hard or "specialty" to find lol. But they are especially in the "big"/Teeny Tiny town of Denver dontchya know. As well as my Kava tincture, which if anyone at this store reads ? Has been out of stock going on a month now ?. But the staff is always pleasant & friendly, feels like a personal shopping experience to a Big Corporate chain - if old enough to remember going to a non Kroger local home/city grocers store any state, that wasn't a Safeway. Lol Like that 1980s & prior. Just in today's terms lol & it's a nice location & unlike so many other retailers IN Denver that don't know a grocery store demands more then 5 parking spaces(TJ really in Cali you're so good but lack so much in lil d)Natural Grocers has lots of parking! Obviously no fan of CO but kinda of neat the brand actually started in Lakewood, CO!
