Went in to buy dog food, got accused by an employee of entering your back room. I did not. I was looking at all the food on the overstock cart in back, that for some reason is sitting on the floor, not on a shelf or in said back room. I already contacted store leadership. If petco corporate really wants to know more details, you can email me. I used to go here out of convenience, now I'd rather drive the extra distance to not give you any more money.

The grooming was good but expensive. Expect to pay at least $100 with a tip. Everything is extra....including brushing out and buffing nails. My dog is small and is a tripod so hard to stand up for long periods.The groomer said next time they'll charge me an extra handling fee. A bit of a stretch and not very good customer service. Grooming was good, customer service could use improvement.

I have been using Petco for grooming for years and recently moved to Denver and was hoping I’d love the groomers here too. I went to the Aurora location one first, which wasn’t necessarily a bad experience but kind of “meh” my experience here with Hector today was AMAZING! I have a Great Pyrenees and a Yorkie and Hector took the time to talk and discuss with me they plan for my pets and my preferences. Even at my original Petco I had NEVER had that kind of personalized and tailored experience. I can say I will absolutely not be going anywhere else at all! Hector was kind, patient (with my little turd of a yorkie 🙃) and did an AMAZING job on my pups. I am beyond happy and will be recommending everyone who asks to this Petco!

The groomer Elina needs to find a new place of business and a new career choice while they are at it.
Multiple times I’ve come in and heard them talking poorly of other salons to multiple people at the grooming area.
Most recently Elina could be heard talking poorly about another Petco location without knowing that the customer was actually a regular at that other location but was just inquiring about their same day availability. The customer walked away talking with her husband and as they walked away they made a clear point which should be shared “regardless of how you feel about another location, you should always keep it professional.” is what the husband said to the wife. I don’t know everything nor do I work there but for one location to talk poorly about another location without even working together is disgusting and it’s what it makes you look like.
The world is full of enough hate without people making a campaign out of it. Elina I would suggest acting more accordingly and not letting your feelings overload your mouth or choices. I can’t imagine coming into work and talking poorly about people that 1.) work within the same company as you, and 2.) you’ve never worked with. Imagine how it makes you look when you share that with customers and those who can over hear you.
I’ve thought about posting this for a while now considering it’s not the first time I’ve encountered this, I was just hoping they would’ve changed for the better by now. Do better Elina

They are abusing their hermit crabs. Their enclosures are entirely inaccurate and these crabs are suffering. Painted shells, and pellets are toxic, they do not have enough water, inadequate depth and type of substrate, not enough space for the amount of crabs. They have labeled their crabs in painted shells as “fancy crabs” and they cost more than the crabs in natural shells. This is truly heartbreaking, coming from someone who rescues abused crabs that have previously come from the pet store trade.

This dude is small but mighty!!
The groomer who cares for my dog uses such a gentle touch and truly lives working with dogs. I took her to a larger location for a haircut one time. Never again. We will never do that again. It was traumatic for me and my dog, especially.
This location is totally different from the moment you check in to the moment you are requiring with your pooch. Thank you so much, Hector!!! You're always so amazing, and up to the task with a smile and a fantastic attitude.

I visit mainly to have my pup groomed by Hector. He does an amazing job, and the price is pretty reasonable given the breed and cut we get. I'd 100% recommend Hector to anyone who needs a groomer.

Great workers here. Called earlier to find out availability on a very specific aquatic plant for a school project, and the employee who picked up the phone went above and beyond to help me out. She ended up finding exactly what I needed, answered all my questions thoroughly, and even gave me estimated measurements so I could make sure that what was in stock met the requirements for my assignment. Thank you, Alethia!

Petco has been my one-stop for everything that I used to cobble together from a variety of sources. In-store products, grooming, and vet care have all been above and beyond what I expected.

The cashier Angelica who goes by Angel, was so rude to us during our visit at petco this evening. I was so turned off by the poor customer service that I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere and will also be spreading by word of mouth my experience. She needs to have customer service training.
