Our son has been very well cared for during his time at PA! :) Cannot thank the staff enough for their excellent care and dedication. They do a great job of building a community amongst parents/staff/students. Our family felt welcomed. Thank you!

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with childcare. It was not easy for me to write this review either as I see most of the reviews here is positive. These positive reviews was the reason I enrolled my daughter. However I have to be honest with my personal experience. I felt closet racial profiling, prejudice , disrespected and made to feel inferior, because I was using CCAP to help pay for my daughter’s care. These people will smile in your face and act like they are doing you a favor at the same time by allowing your child to attend. This was my personal experience. They are not accustomed to dealing with people whose national origins are outside of America. Again this was my personal experience. If you are white (Caucasian) or American, I inferred this daycare would be ok with your children attending. The problem is that the United States is made of many people with different national origins. These ladies have a lot of learning and growing to do. I can’t begin to explain how completely hurtful this experience was. I am an intelligent, Afro Caribbean woman (originally from the Bahamas) , domestic abuse survivor and a single mother. I recently moved to Colorado from Florida with my children, for a much needed fresh start and better quality of life. I work full time, in addition to pursuing a college degree, which made this experience extremely stressful! I removed my daughter from this daycare and would recommend it.

We sent out daughter to Positive Alternative from the time she could start (age 1) until she went to kindergarten. We had such a great experience with all of the teachers as well as the entire Positive community. Absolutely cannot recommend them enough and we will be sending our youngest there as soon as she turns 1 as well.

Such a great daycare! The staff is so nice and caring. They have a huge gym where kids can bike and play year-round which is perfect for hot summer days, as well as in the winter. We also like their soccer program and swim classes.

Positive Alternatives has been incredible for our family. We've had both our boys there for several years, and they have been treated with nothing but kindness and love. Marcia cares so deeply for the children, and it is felt throughout each classroom. We are so grateful to know that our children are safe, happy, and growing in so many ways while we aren't with them. We HIGHLY recommend PA.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this school. Putting our kiddos in this school was the best decision we made as parents. Not only do they teach academics and life skills, but they teach kids about compassion, dealing with emotions, helping others, and being overall awesome people. Marcia, the director, is incredible. Her mom started the school 30 years ago and it's truly a family focused business. It is a second home for our kiddos and they feel loved when they are there. Several of the teachers/leadership has been there over 20 years. There is very little turnover with teachers. Many of the junior staff are past students that loved the school so much that they came back as adults to work there. For some of the logistics...prices are competitive and you get vacation days, which is basically unheard of anymore. They are only closed on major holidays and rarely close for weather. They offer sibling discounts. They provide two snacks AND lunch, which is well balanced and always has fruit and veggies. You can also provide cereal for them to serve your kiddos in the morning. So nice as a working parent to not have to worry about packing anything! In the older classrooms, they do field trips throughout the year, and weekly outings during the summer--including trips to the park, Trampoline places, movies, Chuck E-Cheese, Bellevue Park, etc. They also offer swim lessons, soccer, music class and other activities on rotation. Another benefit is the family activities--breakfast with Santa with carriage rides, summer picnics at the pool, fundraiser nights at local restaurants and others. Overall, we're so glad we spent the last 3 years at PA and are so sad that we have to move on to Kindergarten.

Love this place. The teachers are great and very little turnover with the staff. They also have a huge indoor gym for real cold days. We have been here for almost 3 years now and referred a couple other families, too. I’d recommend them to anyone!

We have loved Positive Alternative school from the moment we started, which was 1 year ago! Everyone is so welcoming and incredibly kind! The teachers and staff are knowledgeable, patient and genuinely care about all of the children. We feel so fortunate to have found such an amazing place so close to our home!

My kids have been going to PA for 7 months now and LOVE it. I have a 1yo and a 3 yo, they are in separate rooms (age appropriate) but still get to see each other throughout the day. The teachers are all wonderful and give my kids the best care. I feel confident and comfortable dropping my kids off in the morning - one stop drop (which I love!) and they are excited and happy to see their friends and teachers. I highly recommend PA!

My son has received wonderful care here and has learned so much in the past two years. The teachers all care for the children and take the time to get to know them.

INCREDIBLE child care. We chose Positive Alternative for our 2 year old daughter due to constant turnover at her previous school. We have been impressed from day 1. Almost all of the staff has been there for 10 or more years, which is almost unheard of in the Child Care world. We started bringing our 4 year old son as well, and he came home the first day and proclaimed "My first day was AWESOME!!!". He has said that several times since. They have great educational field trips in the summer that both kids love. All of the teachers are amazingly talented and dedicated and we feel blessed to have our children cared for so well.
