I rented a unit, but did not need a lock, as I already had one. I was told to speak to the property manager to return it, but that they can't remove the charge and I'm required to buy it, but then they can refund it. The property manager was not there, so i called once again to ask what to do, as the lock does not fit in their lock box. They made an appointment with the property manager and told me to return the next day. I drove over 20 miles to speak to the property manager for our scheduled appointment and they were not there. I called once again to ask what to do about the lock, frustrasted that I wasted time and gas money to get there. They issued me a credit to my storage--which costs absolutely nothing to them, and doesn't pay for gas-- and told me the district manager would call. I did not get a call from the district manager and still have this lock I do not want. I called again to beg for my refund, and was told the field manager would reach out, which i now doubt will happen and I still have this stupid lock.
This company will try to scam you out of as much money as possible. Rent somewhere better if you can.

She quoted me a price to get a unit at another location, and then reserved it for a higher price than what she quoted. I didn't get a unit at her location or the other one. I rented somewhere else.
