I recently visited **River** after catching a Rezz show at Red Rocks, and it was the perfect way to keep the energy going from the concert! The vibe at River was electric, with the DJs playing fantastic sets that seamlessly continued the high-energy atmosphere we experienced at the venue.
The music selection was spot-on, and it felt like everyone was riding the wave of excitement from the concert. The DJs did an amazing job of keeping the crowd engaged and dancing, making it a fun place to unwind after the show.
The drink prices were great, allowing us to celebrate without worrying about the tab. The friendly bartenders ensured we were well taken care of, and the casual dive bar ambiance made it easy to relax and enjoy the night.
Whether you’re coming from a concert or just looking for a lively night out, River is a fantastic spot to keep the party going. I had a blast and can’t wait to return for another night of great music and good times!

First time visiting Denver. Love the city, the people, but this establishment was disgusting. Patrons were inhaling whippets in front of the bar. Unprofessional staff and rude friends of staff. Wouldn’t go again or recommend. Good music on the bright side.

I’m hesitant to post this review because I kind of want to keep this place under the radar. It’s just outside of hipsterville and has a super quirky vibe. The staff is super welcoming and the music was somehow the perfect mix of my dad’s cool old record collection and contemporary. Lots of neon graffiti completed the look. Definitely will go back there, could be my new hangout.

River is one of my favorite spots in Denver! The staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming — they really make the place feel like a community. Saturdays are especially fun with great DJs that keep the energy up all night. Pro tip: bring a dollar for the pool table! Whether you're there to dance, hang out, or shoot a few rounds, River never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Cool bar but the bar tender that works on Saturday is the WORST. She was extremely rude to a disabled person and refused to sell beer at 12:30pm on a Saturday night…? Instead people could only buy shots.
