I had been in the hospital recovering from knee surgery and was not very mobile and was in a semi-private room. My roomie couldn't eat anything but was craving Jolly Ranchers Sour Apple candy. When i was released I called and this location pulled 100 pieces of just Sour Apple from the bin for her so i could help her satiate her craving for food. Thank you so much for being so kind and helpful to both of us!

Rocket Fizz was a lot of fun! There's so much to look at and so many different kinds of sodas from pumpkin pie to mustard to banana. They can be a little pricey, but you can't buy sodas like this where I live just whenever you want . I've heard that they're all different, so looking forward to going to more.

If you're into fun, quirky sodas and a wide variety of candies, Rocket Fizz delivers. The store is packed with unique soda flavors and nostalgic treats that kept my kids entertained and happy. However, as a chocolate lover, I was disappointed with the limited chocolate selection, still, it's a fun stop if you're looking for something different.

Rocket Fizz is a neat little candy store tucked away in the Northfield shopping center. Upon entering, you’ll notice that it actually stocks more soda than candy, but that just makes it more interesting to explore the variety of flavors. As a big fan of chocolate, I appreciated their selection, some of which brought back childhood memories. Exercising some self-control, I only bought one chocolate bar. After chatting with the helpful employee, I chose a Hammond’s Chocolate bar, a local chocolate producer. Unfortunately, the malt chocolate bar I picked tasted dry, but I’m treating that as a one-off experience. I wouldn’t let that discourage anyone from visiting—if you’re in the area, it’s worth a quick stroll. You might rediscover a candy from your past and leave with a sweet memory.

Been awhile since I visited. Store now has a lot more pop and a lot less candy. Disappointing. This was my go to for unique candy and quirky gifts. Not anymore.

I am a sucker for storefronts that look the way they used to in the earlier 50s and back. It was an extra bonus point to be a Rocket Fizz, that sort of encapsulates that theme inside, too.
The store was pretty backed and kept sort-of chilly. Which, honestly, probably helps with the soda's longevity on open shelves. However, this place had my favorite birch beer, so I felt like a little green winner here.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps are scattered along the walkways every 20-30 feet.

I found a product that said " Scrub Trump" So, I Asked the guy behind the counter if they had any "Scrub Biden" stuff. He said no. I decided that due to Bidens lousy economy that I would not give one dime to a store or company that wants to "Scrub Trump". I left the store and won't be back.

Walked over to this location from the movie theater because it said they closed at 8pm on Sunday only when I arrived to be greeted by a closed sign. Please fix your hours.

If you are looking for an old school candy store and or a place with all kinds of salt water taffy, look no further!
Such a fun place with old time treats and taffy galore!
