Went to the location with a bad laceration on my shin. The staff was able to get me seen before I could even sit in the waiting room. Dr. Lawrence and staff were extremely helpful and performed superbly. Everyone was highly personably and genuinely cared. I highly recommend Rose Central Park ER to anyone in the area who needs assistance. Additionally, the facilities were very clean and nice.

Nice ER for small emergencies. My husband had a kidney stone and had severe pain so we went there around midnight. No wait, he was the only patient, and nice nurses/doctor. They were able to do a cat scan there and give him pain medication.

WORST PLACE EVER! took my than 3 yr old in for a continued high fever, Lethargic and a little unresponsive! asked to have a flu test done as well as further lab work. They refused insisting it was just a virus that would go away in a few days with the treatment of tylenol/motrin and hydration! All the while my son was not coherent and by looking at his condition could tell it wasn't just a virus! After immediately taking him to children's (not even waiting to discharge from rose) we find out within 5 mins of tests my son had a severe case of pneumococcal meningitis and was literally hours away from dying! Thank goodness I didn't listen to rose and take him home, he wouldn't have made it through the night! STAY AWAY AT ALL COST! HOPE THEY NEVER REOPEN!

The nurses and doctors were on it when it came to the health and well-being of my mother. They also comforted me and made sure I was okay! The care, concern & compassion they showed is exactly what one's experience in a hospital setting should be! Thank U SOOOOO much!!!

The staff is nice and you will be treated quickly. However, please refer to the Google reviews before making the decision to go here. My personal experience, I went here on a holiday where the only other urgent care option had a 2 hour wait. I was treated for flu symptoms and dehydration due to vomitting (we have decent health insurance). So they gave me a flu test, Ibuprofen in IV form along with saline. I was there for less than 2 hours and they never even checked me for a fever. TOTAL COST... get ready... $8,749. As you will see from the Google reviews, this is a common theme with them. DO NOT GO HERE. I've spoken to their "Patient Advocate" and all she did was ramble off the charges. I've gone over the bill with her and argued that having this as a Level 3 charge isn't suitable for what the treatment and timeline identified with... and they won't consider it. They tell me to talk to insurance. Insurance then calls them. It's a ping pong game and the only one losing out is us. I hope they enjoy getting paid in quarters... bc as soon as they open up after COVID closure, that's exactly what's happening. I'll pay what's owed... in bags and bags of change. I've also reached out to my attorney for a healthcare referral... as from the list of people that are unhappy and price-gouged, I'd suspect there's a nice opportunity for a class action lawsuit stemming from years of crappy behavior on the part of their billing dept. If you've had a similar situation, please feel free to reach out to me. I'd love to add you to the list.

If I could rate this hospital 0 stars I would, I came in with chest pain and a abnormal heart rate where my heart was pounding through my chest, so we let the security guard know what I was there for, and In my situation we kept having to repeat respectfully I had chest pain and that was urgent that he let the staff know it's a patient out here in distress, once the door opened we didn't even get an greeting from the rn who brought me back already seemed pretty bothered already and I don't have a clue what his issue was, then my nurse who I was going to be assisting me was so nonchalant about the situation and I caught her even like laughing or a smirk on her face she didn't care to hear my medical history or what had happen to me, she took HER time on everything(intentionally)she was doing, she didn't even make sure my EKG stickers were placed on me correctly, then once I seen the MD she wasn't any better, she stereotyped me into a category and didn't wanna help me as well but instead just had her team give me over 3 doses of Ativan, Benadryl and a few more medications I was unaware of, I don't remember being discharged cause of how drugged they had me, on top of that I was walked out by one of the staff members instead of being pushed out in a wheelchair, my friend said I could bearly keep my eyes open & head up , so let alone WALK!! This was the closest hospital to my home & if that means to pass this one to go else where I will, this whole experience was unpleasant, the medication was so strong for me it day 2 and I still feel clouded with the same heart flutters & no conclusion. I hope no one has to come here let along to be in an emergency!!! I'm not pleased at all Dr. Choes & her team are awful I wouldn't recommend this hospital at all !

We moved here from LA and this place made us feel like we moved to Pleasantville. We had to wait, oh - five minutes for our daughter to be seen at a would-be peak hour of night in LA: 9pm. We were outta there with a script for her severe infection in like 20 minutes- and someone from the staff even called a couple days later just to "see how she was doing". Whaaaa??? We would have been hoping for a five hour turn-around back home.

Went here for stitches. Got those, had to stay a few more hours. During the wait, I heard the nursing staff making fun of my name, and that I am sure of. I even heard them spell it out. When I confronted them angrily, I was told "You misheard." No, I didn't. The doctor was fine, the stitches as far as I can tell at this point are fine, but I don't like being treated like I am d*** and/or crazy.

The physicians and care we receive here deserve 5 stars. Unfortunately, the incompetence of the billing department brings it down a lot. We have unfortunately had to use this ER 5 times this past year. Every single time, they take down insurance and all pertinent information. Every single time, we get a letter of expenses where insurance has paid nothing. We call, and usually get the response of "Oh, sorry! We didn't have your insurance information!" They re-run it, and sometimes that's it. Other times, they spell our name wrong or have things coded incorrectly, and we have to follow up several times with rose and our insurance.

Recently had the most scary night with our 9 month old son and had to rush him to the ER as he was barely breathing. I am grateful beyond words for Dr. JP Brewer and his staff for taking such wonderful care of my boy. They took their time to make sure he was ok and diagnosed him properly after an awful experience at Urgent Care the night before. I don't know what we would have done without them and their knowledge. I can't recommend this facility highly enough. Thank you!

The most recent time (because we've dealt with this), my husband made sure they had everything correct. And again, we get the same statement that insurance didn't pay, called rose, stated they didn't have our insurance info (this was our 5th time-how were we not in the system by now?!), and re-ran it. We then get a letter two months later stating they haven't heard from our insurance and need our assistance. We call our insurance, and they never got any claim submitted from rose. So my husband sat on hold while our health insurance called rose and tried to sort things out. We have to go through this with rose AND the er physician billing company, as those bills are separated (luckily the physician company never has incorrect info, so it's just a call to give them our insurance info AGAIN). We haven't had ANY issues with billing with UC health or SCL, and it's to where we won't use this ER again, even though the care is great and it's so convenient for minor emergencies/off hour visits. It's just not worth the fight every.single.time. (And the fight isn't even with our insurance!! They pay every time! It's to get rose to properly file the claim). Looks like from a "not recommended" review that this has happened to others as well.

We've had the misfortune of visiting this ER twice, but as far as ERs go, it's not so bad. The things that suck about Rose Stapleton ER are the things that suck about ALL ERs. Astronomical costs, some quirky characters, and did I mention astronomical costs? However, that's where the similarities between Stapleton ER and other ERs end. Stapleton ER is clean, always empty (both times we've visited we've literally walked straight to a room), and personnel are prompt in treatment. This is an off-campus facility, so if they need anything beyond basic services they do need to refer to the Rose main campus, but they make it pretty easy. When my husband needed to be transported to surgery at Rose via ambulance, they did so at no cost. Know that if you have a time-sensitive treatment that is considered beyond what the facility will have on-site, it would be better to go straight to Rose. For example, for my husband's visit (he lost a testicle to a softball, apparently that can happen), he required an ultrasound of his testicle so they had to call a doctor in from the main campus and he had to wait for this. However, when I suffered a stupidly large second degree burn while pregnant they were able to treat me on site, and were able to do an ultrasound of the baby on site as well, requiring no outsourcing. If you can be treated on site, Stapleton ER is so convenient. No waits and you get to stay close to home? Yes, please. If you suspect you need a treatment they may not have, I'd just call and ask. In that situation it may be best to go straight to Rose. Overall, I would absolutely come to Stapleton ER any time I needed emergency treatment. I would strongly prefer not to, but if it's needed I'll be there.
