Rude Recreation Center is one of the best and biggest recreation centers in the Denver area, offering amazing value with a low monthly membership. The membership provides entry to all Denver Rec Centers and includes access to all classes, such as the city's earliest yoga. The facility features a great pool, pool classes, and a recently new basketball court where games are often in progress. The gym is a favorite for many, noted as probably the biggest compared to other rec centers. The weight room and cardio space is bright, spacious, and has a spacious layout with updated equipment in pretty good condition, including a TRX setup. It is usually occupied by adults, creating a friendly atmosphere with ample room and weights to share. The staff are always friendly. Some areas, like the locker rooms and showers, are very small, outdated, and in need of extensive renovation, though the men's locker room has been semi-remodeled. The center is closed on Sundays and could benefit from expanded weekend hours. It is not a fancy gym with high-tech equipment or glitzy atmosphere, but it is a clean, safe, and overall great place to workout or swim.
Really nice rec center. I was able to coach volleyball and all of our games were hosted here. Shout out to Armando, for being a phenomenal staff member for this gym. He is also a great ref for the kids.

Great rec center. 2nd best secret gem gym in Denver.
You will need a lock with either a cable or a long shank to use their lockers because the lock needs to go through a thick, molded loop.
Also, the coffee shop/community space a block east of Rude opens at 7 am and is adorable.
