I pull up to get gas right and after I get my card out to pay, I notice the lights turn off and the screen changes to a message that says see attendant. I go up to the store to find the doors locked. Apparently in the time it took me pull out my card, the attendant decided to close. Who closes with a paying customer staffing at the pump, credit card in hand?

The best thing about this store is the pharmacy . Dirk is a real professional. The store is too small for this section of Denver. Take it from this recent supermarket employee, the store has issues from staffing to inventory. I used to work at Sprouts and at least many of us were on the floor at the same time. The selection was smaller but the staff are there. Helping customers was the best part of my job.

Never has enough staff. Plan on waiting 15 minutes as only 2 people Work there. It's easier to drive to sloans lake, seriously.

This current remodel of the store is just absurd. No customer service. Long lines. Price gouging. Pricing groceries out of our range. They've cut out products and shrank the store down to seasonal items filling walls where groceries used to be. Weeks of empty shelves and empty coolers. I've lived in this neighborhood for 22 years and every year whaI ask: how can this store get worse: and every year it gets worse. It's dirty, it's stocked poorly. Long lines. Terrible management. Lack of choices.

Just a really scary experience. Approached by super persistent loiterers begging for money in parking lot. Like literally wouldn't take no for an answer. Guy was clearly taking photos of my friend. Products expired on shelves. Weren't able to provide us a loyalty card and couldn't provide explanation. Romaine had mold on it in case, salmon looked grey ... I'd steer clear.

Pretty sure I've never written a negative review before but this Safeway makes me inner Karen come out. I go to this Safeway on occasion because it's walking distance from my residence. Complaint #1 is getting harassed by loiterers outside the front. I don't feel safe going here after dark. #2 They are selling expired products here. I literally have to check the date before buying something from the shelves because more often then not it's expired. #3 store cleanliness. Okay rant over

Don't rely on the hours posted. This place locks the doors early. Multiple times I've tried to run over there after work trying to get in and out before they close only to find the doors already locked. Tonight I saw they're open till 11pm. Walked up to locked doors at 10:30 and figured maybe they changed hours so I called on the way home and asked if they were still open. The guy who answered said "for about 10 minutes" trying to discourage me from coming. It was 10:35 when I called. They also don't do great of wrangling carts and NEVER baskets by the doors. Customer service is not the priority.
