This pharmacy absolutely refuses to answer their telephone. I was attempting to have 2 prescriptions transferred here from Kaiser, and I cannot get in touch with anyone to find out the status. When I WAS able to speak to a person, she told me to call back the next day. They were having trouble getting in touch with Kaiser. I called Kaiser at the same number the pharmacy uses, and I was speaking to a human in 15 seconds. They are being dishonest, and they just are not calling Kaiser. I have never had this difficulty trying to get a script filled at a pharmacy. Completely dishonest and impossible to receive services. Avoid!!

The guy at the pharmacy counter told me my Rx wasn’t in the system, then laughed at me when I showed him a text sent to me by the system when the Rx was sent in. Then he changed his story to the Rx isn’t ready, all the while laughing at me. The pharmacist sorted me out, but as long as that guy works there, I don’t see this being not a hostile counter to women.

Similar to what other are saying, this pharmacy used to be great. Alas, they must be understaffed or treating their employees bad because its just absurd. This is the second month in a row where I had to call at least 10 times to get anyone to answer the phone (my prescription requires this). Then even though they say they its in stock there is some issue and takes forever to fill. Until I finally get them on the phone again and magically its filled 5 minutes later.
And apparently half the time it's because the computer system won't work. Safeway, fix your system.
I will be trying to switch to a new pharmacy, and definitely not another safeway.

A year ago, I was bragging on these guys and how good of a job they do. Not sure what has happened since then, but their customer service has definitely fallen off a cliff.
If your doctor calls in a prescription, they will ignore it until you contact them and ask for it to be processed. The only problem with that is that they don't answer the phone. So that means you've got to go in and ask them to fill it, and then come back later. Half of the time, its not even ready then. Some prescriptions take me 3 trips just to be able to pick them up. I'm having to skip days of my medication because of this.
I'm changing my pharmacy next month. These guys are just straight up awful now. Don't waste your time.

Employees can’t seem to be bothered to complete online orders correctly, throwing items in the cart without letting customers know. If I paid $9 for a certain brand, and you give me a $3 bag, without notifying me or refunding me the difference, it’s theft. Flat out. Requested a refund a the app for the first thing that was incorrect, thinking maybe it was a one off. Now I can’t get refunded the difference for the other 6 items that were substituted, so theyre essentially stealing my money, charging for brand name then giving you something substantially cheaper. It wasn’t an approved substitution, there was no communication in the app that it was out of stock. I was charged in full for items I did not receive.

they never answer the phone, dont update you via sms until u go get meds, they answer and say theres a caller ahead but there
isnt cause theyll never answer, terrible customer service

I've been going to this pharmacy for three years now and this is my go to for my medicine, Michael at the front counter is the most helpful and knowledgeable pharmacy tech that I've encountered.

This is the most unorganized, inefficient pharmacy I've ever dealt with. The staff tend to be nice and they are always busy, I don't blame them. I blame whoever is managing the pharmacy processes & amount of staff. I used to work for a pharmacy for years, so I understand the ins and outs and how to manage being busy. Someone in upper management needs to get ahold of the operational and organizational issues and help the staff. If anything, add at least one more staff member to help answer calls and ring people out. Safeway - you clearly have the money to do so...
1. They never answer the phone, I just called 8 times and they kept saying please hold and then they send me to a voicemail that is full, so you can't even leave a message.
2. I've requested automatic refill numerous times, and it never works. So I'm constantly having to try to call to get my refills filled. Or I have to go in and ask for the refills because no one answers the phone.
3. The app is extremely elementary and needs a lot of work. When I order my refills through the app, it takes several days for the refills to even be processed. There needs to be an option on the app, asking if you would like to get your refills today or choose a day. That way the staff are able to prioritize.
4. I tried requesting mail order through the app and 4 days later called in asking if my prescriptions were mailed out and they said no. The mailing process also needs work.
5. There have been several times where I've shown up and they know that they have filled my prescription via the system, but are unable to find it.
6. I was once given the wrong amount of medication, and had to go back to the store to get the rest.
7. Even when your prescriptions are ready you are waiting at least 20 minutes to get up to the counter to be able to get them. Adding another part time staff member would help with this OR could Safeway bring back someone that works in the store part to help in the pharmacy during busy times.
After a year of trying with this pharmacy, I'm officially done. Using a pharmacy much farther away to avoid all of these issues.
