This pharmacy is SO bad I’d rather give it a zero. It typically takes them 2-3 days to fill a prescription called in by my doctor. And even then I have to call at least once, but often more than that, to find out if they’ve received the prescription, if they have the drug in stock, if they’re able to process it. It’s nuts.My last (and I do mean LAST) prescription was an absolutely terrible experience. First, I called to check on my meds the day after they had been called in. I was told that their system had been HACKED and so they couldn’t process my order. No explanation of what “hacked” meant and how much of my private information had been leaked. We finally agreed that if I paid cash, I could get my meds that afternoon. Mind you, they’ve been billing my insurance for years.When I arrived at 5:00 (6-7 hours later) to see if I could maybe, just maybe, get my medicine, it wasn’t even ready. So I had to wait 15 minutes for them to get it together. When I finally checked out, I asked (mostly nicely) why it wasn’t ready before, I was told “We’re short staffed here [nb that’s been true for years]. We’re doing the best we can - that’s all the answer I can give you”. And then she turned away and dismissed me. Bear in mind that when I walked up, there were 3 people standing around, chatting and laughing.Never, ever, EVER again. Safeway should be ashamed of themselves.

My parents are 91 and 93 and needed to get the RSV vaccination. Everyone in the pharmacy was so friendly and helpful. We had been trying since September to find a pharmacy that would bill their Medicare supplemental insurance. Caryn took the time to work with United Healthcare to find out how to do that and then spent days working patiently with us while Medicare billing was down. I have moved all their pharmacy needs to the Safeway Lowry Pharmacy. I recommend them very highly!

Most staff, with the notable exception of Karyn, have given up on even making a pretense of caring about work. “Date of birth” is the new greeting and any extra question seems bothersome. Yes, it’s a busy place, but it’s not the customer’s fault that they are understaffed.

The Safeway Pharmacy at 200 Quebec Street Denver 80230 is WONDERFUL! The pharmacist Karen is extremely knowledgeable, kind and very helpful. Prescriptions are consistently filled easily and quickly. I’ve always received GREAT assistance from the hard working employees at this Safeway Pharmacy.

This pharmacy has triple the staff of any of the local CVS or Walgreens locations and is incredibly organized, with all of the filled prescriptions in labeled bags before you even arrive. Impressively painless experience!

I have a fever and the only cure is more cow bell... but seriously this pharmacy has the cure for what ails ya. I see a lot of negative reviews but honestly I have found them to be very professional and helpful. The pharmacist is very good at what she does and has helped me get my prescription despite the shortage of it that currently exists. Two thumbs up from this guy.

Waited until 3 p.m. on a Friday to tell me my much needed prescription for pain meds they received YESTERDAY would not be filled because it's been on "manufacturer backorder for 3 weeks", and nobody notified me despite the pharmacists knowing for weeks they didn't have it. They proceeded to fill everything else and waited until I called them to tell me to contact my doctor about it instead of doing their job and calling my doctor to discuss a dosage change or what SAFEWAY could do since it's an issue on THEIR end and I can't just call and demand a change like that! Dealing with a potential cancer diagnosis is hard enough to go through, I shouldn't have to be without my prescription pain meds because Safeway "pharmacy" doesn't care to inform longtime patients of things like this... People have pain contracts for chronic pain that are VERY strict, and that includes "pharmacy" shopping. So now I have to wait 5 days before my doctor is even back in the office to address the issue. Meanwhile, I'll spend my weekend in pain and throwing up from withdrawals since my meds were stopped cold turkey. Thanks Safeway!

The staff at this particular Safeway pharmacy are fantastic. They are always slammed however always deliver excellent customer service.I was experiencing difficulties refilling a couple of prescriptions for several days (insurance company) and Karen took care of it within the hour. These guys work hard. We are lucky to have them.

E’ees say “we haven’t received rx, YOU have to call ur dr” and dr‘s office has written proof they gave rx to this Safeway pharm SIX WEEKS ago and they replied it was APPROVED.orDr orders name brand cuz generic not working. E’ees say “that name brand rx is on backorder, have none,” and they will check nearby Safeway pharms - later says “none available.” We immediately call several nearby Safeway pharms, discover name brand med is ON SHELF in most. Also discover NO backorder when another pharm gets name brand in in a couple days.

I had a frustrating time trying to get my meds over here. Had to call 3 times asking for them to transfer my meds only to end up learning they transferred my meds to a location in Idaho! (Which makes zero sense because I said nothing about Idaho.) I had to go into the store to get this fixed and had a long wait for everything to get set up. I'd do lower stars but the front counter lady was kind and helpful and didn't hesitate to help fix the issue. If you're seeing this ma'am, you deserve 5 stars. The location deserves 2 stars. Whoever took my calls and messed up my meds, you don't even deserve a 1 star.

I've been going to this Safeway Pharmacy for over 2 years. Miss Caryn has always been kind and above and beyond professional. Three times this week: 5/9/2022, I called a couple times to decline 2 meds the Dr. had prescribed for me. I have always been polite with everyone of them.This week, when I called, I got the same girl both times. I don't remember her name. She was very short with her responses. I felt like telling her "I'm sorry I'm bothering you. I called the main store number. The nice lady told me, they are using floaters. Well, floaters or not, they need to have better customer service skills. Yes, I will be calling Susie tomorrow morning. I love shopping at that store, but I transferred my meds to the Safeway on Havana. Will my review be read by anyone from Safeway, but I've said my peace.
