Completely unprofessional and unwilling to communicate

Usually don’t have any issues with picking up my prescription and staff is friendly but giving 2 stars because it is essentially impossible to get someone on the phone. Tried calling multiple times days in a row and never got through to anyone.

Overall, I like this pharmacy. I appreciate that they send texts when my prescriptions are ready and they were super helpful in transferring my prescription around when no one seemed to have an emergency med I need in stock. I have also gotten various vaccines here and they have always been comfortable and quick. The techs and pharmacists are very professional as well. My only issue is why make everyone wear their last name on their name tag? I know that pharmacists and techs deal with some crazy customers and giving those customers such easy access to your last name is a recipe for disaster. Working a customer facing job must be really hard, I appreciate anyone that is willing to do it.

Unethical interaction with a pharmacy staffs
As a registered nurse, I would not recommend this pharmacy. I suggest taking your insurance elsewhere and asking your doctor to send prescriptions to a different location.
When I first went to pick up my medication, Isaiah asked me to wait while it was being prepared. After waiting for some time, I went back to the counter to check in again, and that’s when Isaiah told me the medication was out of stock. Naturally, I was confused and disappointed, because that information could have been communicated upfront, rather than after I had already waited.
I calmly explained that this felt inappropriate since he could see me waiting at the counter and had the opportunity to let me know right away. Instead of acknowledging this, I was accused of “harassing” despite keeping a respectful and calm tone. This was troubling, especially because I recorded the interaction, which shows I was simply voicing my concern.
What makes this even more concerning is that right after this exchange, I was suddenly able to receive my medication. This inconsistency raised further questions about the ethics and professionalism of the staff.
As a registered nurse, I understand how important clear communication and patient respect are in healthcare. I also recognize my privilege in being able to advocate for myself. But I can’t help but wonder, what if I were an elderly patient? Or someone who didn’t speak English fluently? Situations like this could easily result in patients/customers not getting the care they need.
When I picked up my new medication, I remained respectful and even thanked the staff. (I hope the manager reviews their video on the the interaction, as it clearly shows this.) Unfortunately, the staff seemed more focused on being dismissive than on providing me information on my new medication. I did not receive any education on my new med which is a patient safety.
This experience left me very disappointed, and I hope the management takes steps to ensure that future patients/customers are treated with dignity and receive the education they deserve.

I’ve been using this pharmacy for a couple of years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. No matter how strange the prescription, they either have it in stock or can get it quickly.

Submitted a transfer request on 6/5. got a text confirming my transfer request was confirmed. Called on 6/8. They said they still didn't have any ready. Stopped in on 6/9 said they didn't receive any transfer request. Gave them the phone number of the transferring pharmacy. Called a couple hours later and still didn't have my transfer. Said it could take 24 hours even though I've been waiting for over 4 days already.
I live in a van and have been to dozens of pharmacy's across the country. This is by far the worst experience I've had.
7/8. Tried to transfer my script to a new pharmacy. This place now says they don't have my script and they can't help the new pharmacy. These people should be in jail.

I was referred to this pharmacy from another Safeway pharmacy that didn't have my prescription. I've tried calling 6 separate times, at first thinking there was a problem with the phones. It turns out, whoever is managing the pharmacy just picks up the phone and hangs up. Sometimes I'm left on hold, only to be picked up then immediately disconnected. I confirmed with the store manager that the pharmacy is indeed open, there are pharmacists there, and then was transferred to them. Again, the phone rang several times, then someone picked up and hung up. I hope someone from the Safeway company sees this. I would avoid this place if at all possible.

I give this pharmacy mixed reviews. Generally, quite helpful, good at sending text alerts, and friendly and efficient providing vaccinations. But ... good luck trying to get through by telephone if you have some special need or request or question. It's frustrating that a basic need like getting questions answered about a prescription can sometimes be so challenging.

Possibly the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. They will not answer the phone ever so it’s hard to contact them when you need to completely ridiculous fire the head pharmacist.

Been very happy with this pharmacy after using them nonstop for last 2 years. The text message system works great and they are fast when in line. We switched from Walgreens across the street cuz they were so challenging to deal with.

Doctor called in a prescription for my 2 year old who had an infection. When I called to check the status, the man on the phone cut me off and was super rude and then told me they’d text me and hung up. I sent my husband to the store later that day to check the prescription and they had lost the message from the doctor.

I think people in Denver are just generally grumpy or unfriendly to the people servicing them. Sometimes things aren't covered or ideal, or prescriptions are out of stock, but the service is impeccable. Their new intern Isaiah is awesome and I love the pharmacist and the regular staff as well. Everybody is always super kind and professional. I guess you get what you give.
Oh and about the phone calls, if you call during their lunch hour they won't answer, but any other time, I have gotten through. I called today and probably three other times while switching insurance. Give these people a break.
