Zero Stars! I went to Safeway because it was near my rental, but when I walked in i was shocked! The loud speakers were blasting a commercial about Vaccines for shingles. The list of contraindications was so long that It was offensive. I turned around after the commercial was over and headed to a different grocery.

Not a great experience. Made appointments on line to get vaccinations. We showed up on time and we were the only people waiting for a vaccination, waited 30 minutes. At which point we asked if we were still good to go? The tech's response after 30 minutes was it will be a few more minutes, if you'd like to wait patiently, great, but if you'd like to go somewhere else feel free to. So we did. Lesson learned. Wonder what the point of making appts is? Poor customer service all around these days, this was a great example of it.

Always have had great service here and one of the pharmacists went above and beyond on my last visits and I truly appreciate it!

The staff is helpful and competent. They fill my prescription and I pick it up. They have spent time to figure out issues and provide me with potential solutions when they can't.

I absolutely recommend avoiding this pharmacy. They create barriers in accessing medication that I’m prescribed for my disability. One of the techs, Christy, has repeatedly given me incorrect information on medication stock, what pharmacy had my prescription, and constantly lies and makes it hell to get my medication. The final straw was when they decided to withhold my prescription and INTERROGATE my doctor as to why it was prescribed. Absolutely unacceptable and wrong. Please do not subject yourself to this horrible pharmacy

I always have a great experience here! Especially for a grocery store pharmacy.

Unbelievably incompetent customer service. The pharmacy has a policy that they do not communicate with customers: Unless the doctor specifies not to replace your prescription with a generic, they will replace it without telling you. I discovered this was the case after they called me to tell me that my prescription is only available in a 3-month supply. The pharmacist then said she could see if they could get it in a one month supply or provide the generic. During that call I specified that I did not want the generic, but if they could get the Rx in a one month supply I would prefer that since the cost is over $100/month. When I picked it up, I did not realize they had replaced the Rx with a one month of the generic. When I compared the generic to the Rx my doc wrote, I found out the generic has a bunch of fillers and colors that make my ears ring so I took it back unopened. The young woman at the counter refused to exchange the Rx for the one that had been ordered for me and told me I would have to eat the cost and then dhe refused to order the Rx my doctor had ordered for me. When I got upset she acted like I was being irrational for being pissed off about this corporation wanting me to eat their $111 screw up. She had zero concern that it has taken weeks to fill this Rx, she just kept acting like it was my fault that I did not know their policy which had never been communicated with me. Get it together Safeway, make your policies clear and don't screw around with people's medication without their knowledge, you aren't doctors and your customer service sucks. Jacob is the only person at that counter who understands how to treat a customer.Updating this note to acknowledge that another reviewer had the same experience with them changing out the medication without the customer's consent. That reviewer stated they are a medical professional and that such a practice can endanger patients with allergic reactions.

I've used this pharmacy for at least 20 years and loved the staff until this April when I tested positive for COVID. I needed to pick up an Rx for Paxlovid (I'm in a very high risk group.)To make a long story short, they do not have a protocol for picking up medications, if you test positive. I went directly from the ER to pick up the medication and wore two masks and used hand sanitizer. The technician yelled across the room saying she'd left a message for me to have someone pick up the med. I don't have anyone to pick it up. She continued to make a scene, in front of the staff and other customers, instead of going to plan B. It turns out plan B is to wait in the car for them to bring it to you. They could have told me that as soon as I arrived, instead of turning it into a spectacle. I felt humiliated.I never received an apology for being treated like an irresponsible outcast, even while being sick. I have followed all of CDC guidelines and more, since the beginning of the pandemic and am arguably more responsible than this pharmacy's staff. THE END
