This morning, I had an employee named Lou be extremely rude to me about exiting the store from the produce entrance the same entrance I entered the store from and made me walk too the front
When I walked back to the produce entrance to get to my bike the entrance automatically opened... so naturally I tested to see if the exit opened... it did.
If the produce entrance isn't going to be accessible during business hours at least make sure EVERYONE is aware of the doors operating hours, or you know when the store is open allow the produce entrance to be fully accessible during business hours morning and night.
Also is a entrance during operation hours not being accessible a safety hazard when it comes to fires and or mass shootings?
Kinda very not ok.

Had the best customer shopping experience there.
The difference in my shopping experience was customer service.
Went first to King Soopers just across the street and felt no customer service whatsoever from the Deli Dept..
Went across the street to this Safeway and the Deli staff who I later found out was the Deli Manager, Marquita Cooper, understood my predicament and made it possible to help me.
The difference?
It's how things are spoken and the manner of delivery. To top it all, I somehow knew, what I was requesting for was doable but, there's the difference of a true and real Manager.
So, Safeway and Ms. Cooper of the Deli Dept., I thank you and commend you for your excellent service!

I think Safeway is a GREAT grocery store - coming from FL, where we have Publix, which is the best. It's like a combo between Safeway & King Soopers. The price is the difference - if Safeway made prices lower, I'd give 5 stars.

A customer service associate (Alicia) told me to trust her, that she would send me a receipt of my FedEx drop off. She said she couldn't find the device that checks in packages. A day later, I had not received a receipt so I went back and questioned her. She accused me of calling her a liar. No apology, no offer to make things right, no empathy that I may have just lost the ability to track a package that was worth $300. She lost a customer for life and I will tell every single person I know. I hope she is satisfied.

Excellent customer service except for the deli where the chicken is dried outm. I asked the deli clerk could you please provide fresh chicken instead she argued about it I gave her back the chicken and she gave me brand new chicken.

Placed an order for delivery two days ago that was to be delivered yesterday. It was never delivered, I couldn't get a hold of the store, called was put on hold and hung up on each time and the Safeway app customer service also couldn't get a hold of the store. I will not be shopping here any longer, the folks that work here seem to hate their job and even the GM just stares off into space and scowls at people. Save yourself time and the headache and shop elsewhere!

Been frequenting this grocery for the last 3 years. This last year this store has definitely had a down turn, in my opinion. The cashier, Lou, is consistently very rude and makes the grocery experience just terrible. He’s never kind and seems to go out of his way to be mean- I’ve even discussed this with other customers and cashiers, who have agreed they’ve been mistreated by him. Why doesn’t management do anything about his behavior? This store has also reorganized the aisles numerous times this year making it extremely difficult to find product. Needless to say I’m finally breaking up with this grocery store.

This used to be my go to grocery store but wow has it gone downhill. The isles are incredibly cluttered, nothing is organized, and it’s hard to find anything or even walk around. I can’t tell if this is a temporary thing (are they remodeling?) or not but I’ll be avoiding this store for a while.

Not a very good Safeway. A lot of the products I would normally expect to find are missing, the staff seem unhappy, it's cluttered (in the middle of a weekday morning, I had to move a couple of trolleys just to access the Amazon lockers) and it's generally run down.

They lock their bathrooms, which I assume is to keep unhoused people out of the store. Uncool. Additionally, there are not nearly enough registers open on weekends. I understand staffing contributes to both of those issues, but they're going to run into more staffing shortages when my boyfriend pees his pants in the check out line and everyone quits. Good enough deals, so two stars I guess.

Danielle at this location couldn’t care less about helping customers.
She is rude, unknowable, unprofessional and has extremely bad overall attitude.
I get it, she’s at the bottom of the workforce and she’s mad that she has to work for low wages but why take it out on customers?
I spend about 900-1000 every month there and all I expect is decent treatment and employees willing to help.
I have been a loyal customer at that store since 1984, most likely longer than Danielle has been alive.
I guess I should switch to King Soopers, they are overall less expensive and the employees are a notch above Safeway which isn’t saying much.
