Hi I don't know who answers the phone but is very disrespectful in how to answer. Doesn't even say hello or say this Safeway how may I help you. Need to learn how to respect and respond better.

Safeway is a large supermarket chain in the Rockies. They carry all sort of produces like carrots ?, salads ?, potatoes ?, onions , cauliflowers, garlic , cabbage , or even tomatoes ?

Poor customer service. Waited at the Customer Service counter for 10 mintues nobody ever came over to see if I needed help. There were even three employees joking around with security by the door that couldn't even be bothered to call someone to help.

There's a homeless guy that sleeps in the bushes behind the store, also several in cars in the parking lot, this becomes a problem when you walk through there's at night, Imo if you have to go there at night, be armed. Every since COVID lock down, these bums have been stealing full shopping carts and harassing people as they walk by.

Here is what sucks about Safeway. To use some coupons you have to download the app which I have. I came and saw mangos and avocados were on sale for 67 cents each. Awesome. I go to the app to clip the digital coupons and the coupons are nowhere to be found. I ask the lady for help and she said I used them already. No I didn't. I don't typically shop at Safeway in general. She said that's why the coupons aren't there. I said that doesn't make sense. I'm not paying $3.98 for 2 mangos when I can pay $1.34. She was very annoyed. She finally got her card and put in the correct price. Really lady, I'm not trying to steal a better price on mangos and avocados. If the price is 67 cents then sell them for 67 cents and don't make me jump through hoops. I was here at 155pm on May 7, 2024. Maybe teach your staff to honor the price that is on the product.

I was pleased with the selection comparatively to other stores in the immediate area and the store is very clean.
I did feel like the security guard and staff were following me and ran over to swoop up my items from self check out to open a lane just to check me out - I'm assuming I couldn't be trusted to check myself out. After dumping out and examining my reusable bags/produce bags, your bagger stuffed everything back into one bag with heavy produce and cans on top.
I was so uncomfortable I almost decided to just say I didn't want any of it after all because I didn't even want to spend money there, but I didn't want to somehow support your narrative that I was shoplifting.
I got up the nerve to mention it to the manager, who brushed me off without apologizing.
Looking at other reviews it seems to be a common issue at this location, particularly with the tall, white, older security guard - so I guess I'll try not to take it personally.

This store represents the nadir of human commerce. The greed of the owners and the incompetence of the managers has resulted in a store where no quick purchases are possible. Self checkout is a failure and greedy store owners need to recognize that. I, for one, will never shop at this store again.

I recently started working in the area and love this store for 3 specific reasons: 1) They're delightful employees! I went in tonight to get ingredients for a Bolognese and their produce gentleman saw ( unknown to me) that I was looking at the sad green bells and promptly brought me some really good ones, nice! Then I saw that you carry a full selection of fresh herbs for cooking, total plus. The gentleman I got the ground beef from was helpful and actually walked me to the ground pork ! Lastly the lovely lady who rang me up couldn't have been nicer. For someone new to your store, it's really nice to just have an all around position customer experience. Thank you.
