Gave Safeway another chance for food delivery. This time the groceries were delivered to the wrong address. I did speak to one of the store manager who told me it's not their responsibility. I'll need to contact the delivery service . I had to explain to a store manager how their own delivery service works. Safeway decides on the 3rd party delivery service. I hope the folks who received my order for free enjoy the food. Refund will take 5 days to process , yet they take your money in advance and process within 30 seconds. Good luck to you trying to use Safeway for delivery. If able at least pick up the order yourself. Unfortunately I'm temporarily disabled and have no choice.

Idk who manages calls when ppl need help from the store, but someone said to my hubby that they are always busy and to never call back! ! I've worked in customer service before and I've never spoken to my customers like that ! Who ever spoke to him like that should be fired!

OMG. SO this is the 2nd Safeway location I've visited within the last week, simply to use the restrooms and THEY'RE HORRIBLE. PLEASE REDO YOUR BATHROOMS. THESE ARE ATROCIOUS. I had to literally build a 7 layer fort of toilet paper simply to feel safe hovering over such disgusting conditions. This cannot be health code compliant.

Everything we need is always there. The parking lot is interesting but other than that we love shopping here!

This was the perfect neighborhood shopping experience for me. I have been going to a competing chain that was nearby, but will not do that again. The difference was such an uplift I think it would be unethical for me to spend my money at my local spot. The underlying focus at Safeway is excellence, whether quality of the food they carry or service they provide. This means it is spacious, spotlessly clean, carefully presented. I found all I came for: fresh vegetables, not plastic wrapped, organic, reasonably priced. Getting a shot gives us 10% off our bill, and is efficiently provided in the privacy of a room setup just for that, with a comfy waiting room. Bathrooms are locked, but opened with no wait. Everyone wants to help us, and they have a boxlike tote that changes everything where bottles are concerned - $4 and sturdy but lightweight. Please don't let them join Kroger, it will only lower our shopping experience.

This location does an excellent job keeping everything stocked and employees are friendly. The restrooms are an entirely different story. When they are open, which is rarely, it is similar to a 20 year old unkept port-o-potty science experiment.

I want to love this place because of how close it is to me, but almost every time I am there an employee is getting into it with customers. That makes an uncomfortable environment for everyone. The refrigerated area with the cheese (specifically where the Lucerne brand is and in other spots) has been missing a few doors for a few months, not properly refrigerating those diary products, so I’d assume there are more issues that aren’t being taken care of as well.Doordashers constantly have to argue with the workers/managers because they’re too incompetent to fix their system that doesn’t show items have been purchased through Doordash. That leads to hour long waits, ending in refunds and unhappy customers who have no idea what’s going on.Specific example, 9/22/2023, I ordered two 8 pieces of fried chicken at 7:31pm with an ETA of 8:03pm. The first dasher cancels on me and another decides to take on the order at 8:17pm. I’m very confused until 8:38pm rolls around and my dasher tells me that they’re trying to make him pay for the food because they can’t pull the order up. Mistakes happen, so I call the store and I’m a trainee answers and transfer me to a manager. The manager has no interest in customer service or resolving any issues, so the order I’m waiting over an hour for gets cancelled. I go to the store myself afterwards and my only response is I want my order, to pay for it and leave. No empathy or accountability from this customer service group. The order was taken to the back of the return desk were there was only one of the orders of chicken I had originally gotten and I assume wasn’t returned to the deli because they were going to eat it, but that’s just an assumption. It seems like management rather argue and not provide any sort of customer service than fix the problem (Brandy). Hopefully this gets read and those issues get addressed.

Every time I shop at this location, I feel the need to check my bill before paying! Today I purchased Swanson broth, 3 for 5.00 or 1.67 each. Did not ring up correctly! The gentleman at self check out, Gave me a hard time. He stated that I needed to check upc for correct items. Tell me why it is the customers fault! Please check section , so others customers do not have to go through what I did today. This Safeway is 5 minutes from my home. Do I have to drive to the Safeway on Colorado Blvd. To shop. Thanks

So I had to send my kid in to return automatic toothbrush heads that cost me $79.53. I did not keep my receipt from the purchase they continually took the things from my kids basically robbed them of almost $100 and expected what. They called my kid a thief and kicked him out of the store. I'm appalled by the store and they're actics and the management team that operates and trains these people. Out of all my 41 years of experience in stores I've never felt so disgraceful towards people.

Went shopping last night and saw one package of moldy shredded cheese, and two separate moldy bakery items, one of which was sell by that same day. I’m not sure if it was a cold storage issue or understaffing but it was pretty unappetizing and made me question the safety of my refrigerated items.

Back in 2022 I had a baby and went to this Safeway for formula. Since my baby was drinking the yellow can enfamil at the hospital I thought it would be a good idea to purchase some from this Safeway. My baby constantly spit up the formula and had gotten sick. We ended up switching the formula and thought she didn't tolerate it anymore. That wasn't the case. The enfamil formula here was from January 2021. Over a year expired ? I never came back until today. I brought a box of Boost drinks. I got home and drank one and not even 5 minutes later I was throwing up. I checked the date and sadly the beverages had an expiration date of February 2023 and it's freaking August ? Hilary seemed pretty nonchalant like selling expired product was normal. Definitely will never go back to this store. CHECK THE DATES ON ITEMS!!

I seriously don’t understand how the self checkout cannot be open in the morning at 6:45 AM. When there are four people in line at one cash register with the cashier, moving at a snails pace is not ideal. Most people are on their way to work so i just don’t get it. this store just seems to be so inconsistent with my shopping experiences. Prices here seem to be way more than other chains in the area as well. If it wasn’t the closest store to my home and the only open starbucks(those employees there are great)I’d probably shop elsewhere.

I used self checkout and it charged me money for cash back. I never pushed cash back and never received it. Then the manager wanted to give me the run around about well our machines just do that sometimes. Okay well I want my money back!

Shopping at Safeway for over two decades, I believe I have had to return items MAYBE 3 times. It just so happened that two of them were this week, two days in a row. No problem with the items, just not what I needed. The first items was under $5 and the second was under $8. The Manager, Hilary (I think) happened to be at the counter. She denied returning my item (I HAD A RECIEPT!) the second day because I was in the day before. She literally spoke down to me and said "Maam, you were in here yesterday and are becoming a problem". There's no doubt the shock I felt was written all over my face, I was an am blown away. It did not seem to be a problem when I spent over $50 the first day on groceries and almost $100 the second day. In my opinion, groceries are already at a ridiculously high rate. I always thought that Safeway could charge a little bit extra for their products because of the customer service that you get with it. I was wrong. I now see no point in spending extra money at a store when I can go to Walmart and get the exact same thing for a dollar less. I double checked the Safeway return policy and nowhere does it say that you cannot return items two days in a row. There's no doubt in my mind that I've spent money there more than 2 days in a row more times than I can count. Keep this in mind when you go to this store, the way she spoke to me was completely degrading and an attempt to humiliate me in front of the other customers.

Wayyy more expensive than other grocery stores. They offer lower prices, but you have to jump through hoops to get them. You also have to be able to show the digital coupon on your phone. What you actually pay is way more than what they advertise unless you have an hour to spend on the computer.
