Devin, amber and the rest of the team at steel creek are amazing. Always responsive and caring when it comes to residents. Couldn’t ask for better customer service. The maintenance staff is also amazing and very responsive. I recommend this community to anyone that is looking for an apartment home!!!

Amber is an amazing property manager! She’s super friendly, very efficient, and always quick to respond. She handles everything smoothly and makes the whole experience easy and stress-free. Plus, she’s got some really cool stories about some of the frogs in the local area! — just an all-around awesome person to work with. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience touring the Steel Creek apartments thanks to the helpful ladies working the front desk. Mary Slade and Amber made me feel at home and answered the many questions I had about the property. Some of my favorite parts are the pool and lounge, and I love its proximity to the Cherry Creek shopping center and Matsuhisa being on the first floor. She showed me two apartments as we were between a two bedroom and a one bedroom. She took her time and was very friendly. Thanks again!

I've been living in this building for several months and absolutely love it.
All staff have been fabulous and very responsive.
The building is in excellent condition.
Its location is in the heart of Cherry Creek North can't be beat.
I enthusiastically recommend Steele Creek.

AVOID this Apartment complex. Do yourself a favor & read many of the other recent bad Google reviews here over the last year+. Also take note that per a resident, Steele Creek was offering possible gift cards to current residents to post positive reviews, which taints any of the 5-star reviews that are artificially offsetting many of the 1-2 star reviews which are legitimate.
I briefly considered Steele Creek when looking for a new 'luxury' apartment, and am SO glad I didn't pursue it.
Absolutely terrible first days of impressions when simply trying to call the Leasing office and get information, ask a few questions, and arrange to view unit(s). It was the worst impression/experience w/ a luxury or upper-end leasing office (if you can even call it that) that I've ever had in over 20 years. I also own multiple properties myself and have been in property management in multiple states for 2 decades, so I have a very clear idea and opinion of what a good leasing/landlord organization is and is NOT. And these guys don't have a clue.
Further, the hours of the leasing office are not as stated on their website and on Google. Who knows what they actually are. When you call the main listed leasing number during business hours, which I did about 15 times over 4 days (and that's not an exaggeration), it's just a series of automated recordings & transfers and/or voicemails, all directed by a computer system. The way they have their whole phone system set up, it is basically impossible to actually reach a live human being w/ their leasing team on the phone w/ an outbound call that you generate. When they do finally reply (ONLY via text or email despite my request for a call back), my question(s) where never answered in full, and then they repeatedly took 12-24 hours or more to my follow up questions during regular business hours. The whole thing was a colossal waste of my time and energy. I can only imagine what a nightmare it would be to deal w/ this company on any long term basis after god forbid signing a lease w them -- again, just read some of these recent resident reviews.
It's too bad because it's a very attractive building and complex.
But how they handle and treat their customer or potential customers (or rather DON'T) is shocking and insulting. Total failure.

Extremely poor management, look elsewhere in cherry creek.
Current resident, have been here for 2 years and the management has zero sense of community. We’ve dealt with several issues related to damage of our own property from other residents and the building won’t even be flexible to move us elsewhere in the building without paying a ridiculous fee. The people you can talk to are powerless to provide any relief and you can’t access anyone with decision making power.
All complaints and asks for flexibility are met with “your lease is your lease we can’t do anything, it’s legally binding.”
With so many buildings around the area with similar price points I highly encourage you to consider other options.

Do not move here! This place is a complete scam and I wish we would have listened to some of the other reviews. We were hit with a $8,000 bill upon moving out for not “properly” giving notice. Although we finished out our entire lease and responded to a text from the building asking if we would be renewing our lease saying no, 2 months before the lease end date. Upon applying here and signing the lease you never once deal with a live person. They took over a week to get back to us about our application, we had to keep calling and emailing, it’s impossible to get a response. Once we finally got approved they just send you your lease to sign with no proper correspondence and no live person to actually speak with. The entire process is extremely confusing and unprofessional. Now they are trying to get all of this money from us by using the fine print in the lease. It’s really sad that a business like this can be up and running and continuously scamming innocent people. I truly think UDR needs to be put under investigation. Their business practices are unethical and unjust. Everyone that works for the company is extremely rude and it seems like they are all reading off of a bigger script. They know exactly what they are doing. Please do yourself a favor and take your business to one of the many other beautiful buildings in the surrounding area.

Steele Creek presents itself as a luxury residential community, yet they rent out common areas to the general public and list their unoccupied apartments on Airbnb. While they boast attractive amenities, I feel uneasy about sharing the premises with short-term renters staying for 2-3 days.

I have enjoyed my experience at Steele Creek! There is so much here I could not find in one package anywhere else... professional staff, beautiful amenities, amazing residents, and a neighborhood that offers shopping, dining, health and beauty services, banking, and much more.

Maybe another time because place was beautiful... whenever you guys get proper training of how to deal professionally with customers by not changing things & respect what we stated, not over promising discounts & let the the days go by & the rental goes up & then tell me you guys are no responsible whenever you guys asked me to wait. Not to mention that speaking with several of your colleagues (including the manager Danvy) & do not know or have an idea of what's going on.I'll pass for now, had a lot of patience, not anymore tho. Good luck.

I am at wits end and am forced to write a review in the hopes that it forces action on the part of UDR/Steele Creek/whoever can fix this. If you are thinking about moving here, be very warned, they will hit you with completely wrong charges upon move out and will offer only empty promises and no actual action on getting it resolved. After moving out, I am being charged 9 days of "accelerated rent" which totals to over $1,300. The problem is - I submitted my lease termination well outside of the 60 day policy window and have confirmations of this in email and from the staff that I have brought this up with. In other words, I was in compliance of Steele Creek's policy and should NOT be charged with anything outside of the reconditioning fees (which I am happy to pay). I have provided all necessary evidence and have been trying to get this resolved for over 1 month, including emailing the Billings Department which is exactly what they tell you to do. I have received absolutely NO RESPONSE. After absolutely no action from UDR/Steele Creek's part, my account is now being threated with being sent to collections within 5 days - which will hurt my credit. I am now in a state of total anxiety trying to make sure I don't have a collections on my otherwise squeaky clean credit history - which will impact everything I try to do in the future including buying a house or car. I have been told it would be resolved by the end of the week, every week for the last month, and literally nothing has been done about it. If this does not get resolved NOW, I will be forced to pursue some type of legal action and everyone NEEDS to be warned of the total scam UDR/Steele Creek is running.EDIT: this has been resolved less than 24 hours of posting the review.
