A lot of people idolize celebrities or musicians, but in my life story Kristina is a true hero.
In 2020 my two sweet doggies were stolen by someone that I considered a friend. I was going through a rough time in my life, and was making some poor decisions, but I didn’t deserve to have my beloved animals stolen. This was truly one of the darkest times in my life and I was desperate for help. I reached out to Kristina Bergsten at The Animal Law Firm, and this was the best decision I could’ve possibly made. Kristina was so kind, understanding, and professional throughout the entire lawsuit process. She provided me with support and guidance at a time when I needed it the most. Her talent as an attorney was evident in court, and she really went the extra mile to defend me when the other lawyer tried some dirty and disturbing tactics. A judge ordered that one of my dogs be returned to me, and I was able to get the other one back shortly afterward. They bring so much love and joy to my life, and every day is brighter because of the work Kristina did.
PLEASE BE AWARE! It looks like some unhinged fools are review bombing The Animal Law Firm. I read one of these reviews, and even before reading the company’s response I knew that it was total and utter malarky. My experience with The Animal Law Firm couldn’t have been more positive. PLEASE don’t let that BS dissuade you from reaching out to this law firm for help.

Spent 50 dollars on a consultation she missed the appointment very unprofessional then when we talked s he was not very helpful and wanted to charge 5000 dollars to represent me which is way more than the criminal defense attorney was charging what is it with ppl she dont care bout the animals she just wants money

The Animal Law Firm is a joke. From day one, it was all about the money and nothing about the client. They never showed an ounce of care, respect, or compassion. The attorney couldn’t be bothered to fight for the little guy, and it was painfully clear the only thing that mattered was racking up billable hours.
This firm is predatory, dismissive, and completely untrustworthy. Anyone considering them should think twice—don’t waste your money, your time, or your hope on people who will never put you first.

Kristina was an amazing lawyer for us! We had a situation with a dog in our neighborhood that felt very traumatic. She was able to walk us through how the law could support us and in the end was able to get us a good resolution that kept all parties satisfied - and away from each other!

I cannot thank Kristina enough for helping me through one of the hardest situations of my life. My ex was being vengeful and refused to return my dog, and I was terrified I’d never get my best friend back. Kristina not only knew the ins and outs of animal custody law, but also showed compassion and understanding throughout the entire process.
She was responsive, honest, and incredibly strategic in building my case. Most importantly — she got my dog back home where he belongs. I felt supported and empowered every step of the way.

Within 72 hours of the worst day of my life, I was on the phone with the Animal Law Firm. Not only did Cerridwyn listen compassionately to our story and console us, but she also reassured us that we had a case and she could help us. It was a complex and unusual case, but Cerridwyn handled it expertly and we never doubted that she would represent us well. It was our first (and hopefully only) experience with the legal system, and she answered all our questions with patience and understanding. In the end, we got our dog back. I will always be grateful for the expertise and compassion showed by Cerridwyn and the rest of the Animal Law Firm team!

Unbelievable experience in my darkest hours! I was devastated when my ex took my dog just to spite me and I thought getting her back would be easy. Wrong! The legal process is beyond my scope and The Animal Law Firm came highly recommended by friends and neighbors. I was amazed at how effective and swift the process was! My girl and I are now reunited and Im forever grateful!

So completely let down of how she handled or lack there of handled my previously foster dogs case. She was amazing dog who deserved someone competent and compassionate who truly stood up for the underdog. Im sorry she failed and was to prideful to take accountability for her mistakes.

We hoped for the best but found a completely incompetent lawyer with a team that doesn’t care about your animal. They’ll take your money alright, but as far as follow up and service, goodnight. I’d rather represent myself and my animal at that point, than to have this team of people do anything legal for my family ever again. Probably the least professional conversation with a lawyer I’ve ever heard. She should consider how much animals mean to people…. They’re family, not a statistic. 👎🏻 Thanks for nothing.

As the husband of someone who has been let down, I want to let others know of the unprofessional way that Kristina Bergstine and staff handled our case. No doubt, our dog's impoundment, was a difficult situation, however, the lack of accountability for the things which should have been handled by this firm and were not are too numerous to discount. The way in which my wife was treated during phone conversations was a true measure of the lack of understanding that this firm showed by blaming their errors on her. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. We believed that ours and our animal's interest was initually handled well up and through the last court date, but subsequently too many balls were dropped with zero accountability to give them the benefit of doubt . Please think twice before trusting your loved ones to this firm
