Hotel staff accidentally checked us out and then tried to force us to leave on NYE rather than admit their error. A staff member actually walked into our room while we were not dressed and asked us to leave. They treated us as if we tried to steal a night even though we had our confirmation email stating we were paid up til NYD. When they realized their error they offered to comp us some points. We received nothing from them. Here’s what happened:My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to Denver for NYE. We checked in late Saturday night 12.30.23 and confirmed that we would be checking out Monday morning 1.1.24. Around 9:00am on the morning of Sunday 12.31.23 we had house keeping try to enter the room twice. We though it was odd, but went back to sleep. We got up around 11:00am went down for breakfast. Our key cards worked just fine. We came back and laid down. Around 12:00pm we woke up yet again to another knock from housekeeping, then 5 minutes later another knock. 10 minutes later someone actually opened the door and entered the room.Since we were not dressed, we did not come around the corner. I asked if there was a problem and the person said that we were supposed to be checked out. I asked him to leave and immediately called the front desk. The person at the front desk (Chloe) informed us that we had to leave because we were checked out. When I explained that we did not check ourselves out and we’re planning to stay until 1.1.24 (what we paid for) they didn’t care. They stated they “could not see” what date we were scheduled to check out since we were already checked out. As a courtesy they offered to let us stay until 4:00pm. I asked for a manger and Chloe said they were the most senior staff member available. At this point my boyfriend got dressed and went down to talk to them. Once he showed them the Confirmation Email the hotel had no choice, but to let us stay. They weren’t very apologetic or nice about it since they were over booked for NYE. They offered to comp us for the night, but had to do this in Hilton Rewards points since the manager was not available. When we got back to Minneapolis we had a few points, but I think those were added from our stay and not from Chloe. It was is not enough to stay a weekend night in a hotel of similar caliber. I tried several times to contact the manager and was unable to get in touch with them. How this hotel chose to deal with their error is unacceptable. Chloe should not be in charge of anything, especially not customer relations. They would rather argue and try to force a guest to leave than to ask for verification or acknowledge an honest mistake. I am offended that someone walked in our room. That should never happen.

Booked this hotel through the Amex app. Very friendly staff. The restaurant inside was very good as well. Would recommend staying here if staying

I stayed at the Art Hotel last month (while attending a conference) and I am finally getting around to writing a review. I could not let another day go by without giving this hotel and its staff the praise that they deserve. I tried to remember as many names as possible, but I am missing a few! The hotel and Fire staff were amazing! Their attitudes were positive. They were quick to serve and serve well. They sought to meet all of my requested needs and they did it all with a smile. From following up on housekeeping needs to calling me a lyft to get to my conference to keeping my cup filled at the restaurant (while giving me my favorite booth), this staff was second to none! My favs were Kendra, Nate, Kaia and Janaya. My overall experience of this hotel and restaurant is " You can't compete where you don't compare." (borrowed from Janaya). Loved, loved, loved my time at the hotel and restaurant... I will be back!

Liana was great hosting our large group for happy hour. Very attentive, friendly, and quick! The bar has a great happy hour menu and seasonal cocktails.

I am taking off a star because of the issue I’ve had with unexplained charges. One of which may be valid, I just haven’t spoken with their customer service yet.I stayed here as part of the Amex FHR collection. I chose this hotel as it was the cheapest near Denver on Amex’s website for the $200 Platinum card rebate. With the Platinum card came several benefits- 12pm check in- 4 pm check out- 2 peoples worth of breakfast per day. I think about $60. (May have been combined with Hilton diamond status credit)- $100 food and drink credit (you must charge to the room)- upgraded roomThe hotel itself has a $20 amenity fee that you can spend on food and drink. It’s a really weird fee that can be used as a food credit or else you will get charged the $20 at checkout. The valet was super nice and let us park there for free while we checked in. Paying for the actual valet is so not worth it when there’s a few parking garages super close that charge wayyyy less. We even saw one down the street a bit that was $5 a day.At check in they charge a $100 incidentals fee that should get refunded. They also charged me an extra $200ish at check in that I still don’t know why. But at checkout I re-asked about it and they said it was a mistake and cancelled the charge. After checkout I got a ~$50 charge on my card that I’m not sure what it is. On the invoice it’s under the credit field so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . I’ve been meaning to email to ask.We were only there for one night so we had to work hard to spend ~$150 worth of food and drink credits. We had dinner at their restaurant and managed to spend a good bit. The food was so not worth the price though. Even being “free” I wish we had gone somewhere else. The steak had a tomato sauce that was just not it. Mashed potatoes and wings were devine though. Our server was super friendly. The hotels location is great. The streets are clean and felt relatively safe to walk in. There’s even a nightclub in a church across the street which is a cool concept. The rooms were nice as well. I had just come from a Marriott that had soft-close sliding doors for the bathroom, so this one was a bit of a let down. It had a desk, a chaise, and a nice bench to put a suitcase.Overall the hotel is clean, the staff is helpful, and the location is great.

This hotel is stunning. It’s clean and beautiful, and it has incredible views of the city. The rooms are quite large, clean and modern. The staff is lovely and helpful. Valet was fast. Location is perfect, you’re in walking distance of amazing local restaurants and bars and clubs on Broadway .Nearby activities: There are coffee shops, bookstores, museums, restaurants, bars and clubs all within walking distance.Walkability: There are at least 20 restaurants within a mileFood & drinks: Real cute roof top restaurant

Delightful and unusual property well-located in Denver. Themed around contemporary American artists, there are interesting and provocative pieces installed throughout the hotel, including the motor lobby. My king standard room was comfortable, well-appointed, and clean. My dinner at Fire was delicious and the service unassailable. I'd love to stay again!

Whatever you do, do not stay here if you plan on speaking to the front desk staff. Out of every Hilton property I typically stay at, these were the worst natured and rudest I have ever come across. We wound up making a mistake in our booking, and rather than deal with the situation gracefully, the manager Chloe was easily one of the rudest I have come across after being in the industry myself for years. Who cares if a property is nice if the people who work in it are nasty, would give it 0 stars if I could.

This hotel was a nice place to stay on credit card points. We wanted to try something new and a closer drive to the airport at 5 in the morning. Check in was easy and the valet took our car. The check-in was upstairs which was a quick and easy elevator ride.We recieved vouchers for the restaurant in the hotel which was a nice amenity. The room was very nice and the bed was really comfortable as were the pillows. And we are picky! The shower was tricky to turn on honestly! The soap, shampoo and conditioner smelled herbal and fresh, they did the job!Only issue we had, was the 24 hour valet. When we needed the car at 5 am, the valet was at another property. So we paid for the valet but weren't able to get the car brought to us. Not a big deal but it took extra time out of the morning we weren't planning on. Yes, the hotel refunded the valet charge. Not pet friendly, it is family friendly.

Fantastic stay, amazing staff! From the dogs in the elevator to the nuggets on the wall, the atmosphere and artwork throughout the hotel was exceptional. Had a difficult time selecting from the breakfast menu at Fire because everything sounded delicious! We were very pleased with our selection. Great location, close to everything we wanted to see. We wish we could have stayed longer!

The “art” around the hotel was outstanding and room was spacious and laid out nicely. We really enjoyed the restaurant. The food was delicious and the presentation was a feast to the eyes. We took full advantage of the daily food and beverage allowance. This was a great perk!We spent two days at the Art Museum and the two block walk was just right. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. All in all a wonderful experience!Walkability: Hotel is in a great location to get to Art Museum and local dining.

The rooms are very nice, but what makes this place is the staff. The person at the front desk Chloe was amazing. She arranged transportation for us and was so helpful. Also the "Fire" restaurant was great. Our server Kaia was super friendly and a superb waitress. The valet also helped us store our bags after we checked out s we could explore the museum.

Had a wonderful 3-night stay at the hotel. Large room, comfortable bed. The staff was very nice. The hotel has a car that will drop you off within a 2 mile radius which is almost all of downtown Denver or since it wasn't operating they gave us free Lyft rides. Wish I had known about it earlier I wouldn't have rented a car for as long as I did! But great stay. Great location. Will definitely be back and I definitely recommend it for anyone's trip to Denver.Nearby activities: Museums all around the hotel.

Loved my two night stay at this hotel. From the super fast valet to customer care at reception (Tyler had the best positive kind attitude for his role), the cleanliness throughout the hotel and to the comfy amenities the list goes on. As a diamond member I got a 15$ credit on meals for each day that I used at the Fire restaurant, meals were perfect and again customer service top notch. Location was perfect too, definitely felt safe to take a walk around the beautiful surroundings and did I mention the espresso and plush robe in the room? Best Pro that I rarely find at Hiltons: Smart TV with access to Netflix, etc. Will definitely come back!
