Wife went there for tea time this evening and the guy on the piano stopped his show because he said he couldn’t “concentrate” because of people talking.Maybe find another job if you can’t hack it….Foster the waiter was amazing but the piano player definitely made us decide that we will NOT be coming back…..

Words that come to mind are antique, signature and classic for this hotel. Overall enjoyed experience but had a few things that bothered me. Peeling wallpaper, food items(not mine) left in fridge had melted and then refrozen, one of my shower heads was cold. The body wash was not refilled/empty. Live music is nice.

This place is absolutely stunning. Truly. Its history is fascinating, and the service was outstanding. It’s rare to find a place that has the kind of customer service of yesteryear. If I ever need a place to stay locally again, I’ll be doing it here.

If you are lucky enough to visit Brown Palace be sure to ask Zac about the historic tour of the hotel. Zac was amazing, fun, personable and even shared a few “unexplained happenings”Food & drinks: Be sure to check out Churchhills.

We had a lovely tour of the Brown Palace with Matthew W. He was very informative, patient and kind. We took lots of photos and really enjoyed learning more about the history of the Brown Palace. If you get a chance to take the tour be sure to ask for Matthew.

Only stayed here a night, but wish we had stayed longer, and definitely will the next time we're in Denver. Such a beautiful hotel with absolutely wonderful staff who were so helpful and accommodating. Also dog friendly was a huge bonus! We arrived too late in the day, but next time I would definitely do the afternoon tea, it looked amazing.

Great location, very cool ambiance. The live band in the atrium was a cool experience. We got our rooms on a special for very cheap so the value for this place couldnt be beat.

I had high tea at the Brown Palace on 1/27/2024. They didn’t have any English Tea. The waitress took forever and forgot us. She added all the tax onto my bill instead of dividing it between three people and the strawberry jam was moldy. I have had better in the uk and CanadaIm from the UK.Food & drinks: Don’t waste your money on high tea.

fabulous hotel; amazing staff; fantastic music; awesome food. Kent made our stay extra special by showing us some of the uniqueness of the property; from murals to hotel history, he really personalized our stay. The tea is a must do with delicious scones, sandwiches, and pastries not to mention the harpist. But the jazz band and piano player were the best; highly recommend! Fabulous stay! Thank you everyone!

The bathroom was in pretty rough shape. A big chunk was taken out of the shower tile, the door over the bathroom had been removed. Otherwise, great place with a gorgeous chandelier in the atrium.

I must have not saved this review the last time I did this. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this grand hotel from the moment that you walk in, you are welcomed by the lighting the details to workmanship I have had the afternoon tea, which it was very close to the end of the time, And a place was still made for me so that I could enjoy it. The chandelier is breathtaking, and I feel so fortunate that I was able to see it. The vibes are that of the Titanic so “grande”. Went down to the spa and had an amazing amazing massage by Miss Morales. Which was very helpful because I was truly in pain from a long conference. I have a hard time finding the words to express. How wonderful a day I had. Thank you again till next time.

The location is great and you can feel the history in the building. My problem is the carelessness in the actions of one front desk employee that ruined my whole stay and the rest of my day. I have over 3800 room nights with Marriott and this was a jolting first for me.I had two rooms for one night. I called down the morning of check out and asked for a 1pm checkout and was told that was no problem at all. I asked him to notify housekeeping as my mother is older and this way she would not be bothered and he said he would. Well housekeeping came 3 different times to her room because he never notified them. That is not the part that bothers me.I went to a meeting at 10:15 and returned to my room on the 7th floor at 11:30 to find my key did not work. I went to the front desk and he told me that I had already checked out. I said I requested a late checkout over the phone but never checked out. He told me that someone came down to the front desk and gave my last name (a common one) and he checked out both my rooms and gave the man the receipts. I said wait I didn't check out. He said that someone did with my name. These receipts have my name and other personal information on them and not one single was given by this guy as I explained to him that I was the only male in my party and this was not possible. He simply did not car and acted like I was bothering him yesterday by checking me back in.I used points for my room and still feel like I overpaid for the level of security and competency at the front desk st. Now someone has my name and address and whatever other details on that receipt as well. Just don't do it if you value security.
