Fantastic venue for meeting space. We hold a school graduation here periodically and it's a fantastic place. Bring your own AV adapters and batteries for microphones just in case.

The Commons helps the community and startups/entrepreneurs by offering this space and they have many events that are free to attend. It's really great! Also, every month on the last Thursday there is a free happy hour/social and also every month is a Community 101 open to anyone interested in learning more about The Commons. Check out their website calendar and/or Facebook page for upcoming events! Love going to The Commons!

For my personal experience, I was originally going to give 3 stars. Nothing in particular stuck out to me about this place. Don't get me wrong, the space itself was very nice and clean. But of all the co-working spaces I have seen, it fell in the A-ok category. The only mishap that we had was the sound for the tv wasn't working. We were scrambling as we had a conference video call coming up with slides for everyone to see. And we honestly never got it figured it out. We just turned up the volume on a laptop and cupped our hands to our ears to try and hear. So this place that was A-ok with A/V equipment that didn't work got boosted to 4 stars. Why you may ask yourself? Because of reading the other reviews! I didn't realize that this place was free for entrepreneurs and small businesses to stop in and have meetings, enjoy some coffee and water and do some work. That explains a whole lot when it comes to people not being there to help and the ask for donations for coffee. So a decent place when you are paying for it. But an amazing mission to help budding business in the Mile High City. Very cool.

Great for group meetings on a budget. I had my work team in town for a two-day conference and we needed enough space for 12-13 people to co-work and host meetings. The Commons on Champa has two rooms available for rent at a very, very reasonable price. A similar (or even smaller, less fancy) space would cost at least $1000 whereas The Commons on Champa was much closer to my budget (about half that). The entire space has free wifi -- in the conference rooms, in the event space and the common area for coworking. It will kick you out after about 5-6 hours, but logging back in isn't a huge deal. There are TV's in the rooms where you can connect your laptop via HDMI, though the sound didn't work in our room so we had to figure out a work-around for a teleconference call. The Commons on Champa was just a few blocks away from the hotel where the group was staying and it wasn't an especially cold few days in Denver, so everyone could walk from the hotel to our meetings easy peasy. Coming and going each day was very easy. No "red tape" to sign in or need for security badges to get in and out of the building. Very nice for 2-day visitors. I also appreciate the mission behind The Commons on Champa -- they are a resource for entrepreneurs in the community. And even if you aren't a small business owner, you can stop by and use the common area for free. All of these things align with my team's goals, so I'm glad they were able to accommodate us for our end-of-year planning.

Great working space for mid sized groups. My work team worked in this space in a conference room for two days and I found it to be a great environment. The rooms are good sized, AV was available and worked. The bathrooms were clean. The commons area for small groups or single workers is nice and outfitted with water, coffee and vending machines. There are some phone booths you can go in to to take calls without disturbing anyone. My group leader organized this so I'm not sure on pricing but could be an option if you're in the downtown area often and need a place that isn't a coffee shop to work. My hotel was on 15th and California and it was a short 6 minute walk from lobby to the Commons.

Decent coworking space close to our hotel, great for entrepreneurs and small business owners to use the space for their communications needs. We came to use the conference room for two days as a work group with multiple people from various cities. The internet is a bit tricky to log into and will log you out after 5 to 6 hours of connection so you have to reset it. Which is annoying if you are in the middle of a meeting or a presentation. However, when it is working it is fast and reliable. The coffee and amenities are available for use, but the staff certainly emphasize the "donation" angle for non-regulars to partake in said amenities. Several people from our group were encouraged to donate, even though we paid for the conference rooms. The last issue was with the technology in the conference room. The tv's were not great to use and did not have sound. The remotes would not work properly, perhaps a battery issue. However, the value for the space is great for those who are the regular customers.

This was a great place to visit. We attended a seminar here and the convenience of having a cute little coffee shop next door was fantastic.
